Band für Türen, Fenster oder dergleichen,
   mit einem auf der Vorderfläche (38) des feststehenden Rahmens (1) der Tür, des Fensters oder dergleichen zu befestigenden Rahmenbandteil (10,10'),
   mit einem auf der Vorderfläche (39) des Flügels (2), der Tür, des Fensters oder dergleichen zu befestigenden Flügelbandteil (20),
   mit einem vertikalen, die übereinander angeordneten Scharnierteile (11,12,13) der Bandteile (10,10';20) durchgreifenden Bandbolzen (8) zur scharnierartigen schwenkbaren Verbindung der Bandteile (10,10',20),
   mit einer Einrichtung (22) zur Verstellung der Höhenlage des Flügelbandteils (20) über dem Rahmenbandteil (10,10'),
   wobei mindestens das Rahmenbandteil (10,10') mindestens in einem dem Flügelbandteil (20) benachbarten Bereich durch zur Achse des Bandzapfens (8) parallele Flächen begrenzt ist,
   dadurch gekennzeichnet,
   daß ein Abdeckstreifen (50) vorgesehen ist,
   der sich längs des Spalts (26) zwischen den Bandteilen (10,10';20) erstreckt und diesen überdeckt,
   eines der Bandteile (10,10';20) mit dem einen Längsrand außen anliegend derart übergreift, daß dieses gegenüber dem Abdeckstreifen vertikal verlagerbar ist,
   eine mindestens dem Verstellhub (36,37) der Bandteile (10,10';20) gegeneinander entsprechende Breite aufweist
   und längs des anderen Längsrandes mit dem anderen Bandteil (20;10,10') verbunden ist.
