Abstract

The present invention relates principally to a method of producing a covering (1), particularly for floors, to a covering obtained by means of this method, as well as to a method of laying the said covering. According to the invention, grooves (2) are made, for example in sheets of wood, which are filled with flexible adhesive (3). After the adhesive has set, an ablation of the material between the grooves, advantageously over a depth less than the depth of the groove, uncovers the projecting contact strips.

L'homme a toujours cherché à recouvrir les parois des habitations, notamment les murs, et surtout les sols, avec un revêtement d'aspect agréable et présentant une bonne isolation acoustique et/ou thermique.Man has always sought to cover the walls of dwellings, especially walls, and especially floors, with coating pleasant in appearance and with good sound insulation and / or thermal.

Le Brevet EP 0 309 356 décrit un procédé de fabrication d'un matériau en bois comprenant les étapes consistant à :

  • a) rainurer des planches de bois ;
  • b) remplir les rainures avec une colle colorée ;
  • c) coller les planches de bois ;
  • d) découper dans le bloc formé par la superposition des planches de bois dont les rainures sont remplies de colle, des tranches formant des planches ou lattes d'un matériau de revêtement pour sols.
  • Patent EP 0 309 356 describes a process for manufacturing a wooden material comprising the steps consisting in:
  • a) grooving wooden planks;
  • b) fill the grooves with colored glue;
  • c) glue the wooden planks;
  • d) cut into the block formed by the superposition of wooden planks whose grooves are filled with glue, slices forming boards or slats of a covering material for floors.
This Patent describes the possibility of using glue insulation providing acoustic insulation. However, this sound insulation may be insufficient in noisy environments, especially in buildings whose floors have poor sound insulation.

    C'est par conséquent un but de la présente invention d'offrir un revêtement qui a les qualités acoustiques désirées, notamment une excellente isolation acoustique.It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a coating that has the desired acoustic qualities, including excellent soundproofing.

    C'est également un but de la présente invention d'offrir un tel revêtement ayant un aspect agréable.It is also an object of the present invention to offer such a coating with a pleasant appearance.

    C'est aussi un but de la présente invention d'offrir un revêtement facile à entretenir.It is also an object of the present invention to provide a easy to maintain coating.

    C'est également un but de la présente invention d'offrir un revêtement facile à poser.It is also an object of the present invention to provide a easy to install covering.

    C'est aussi un but de la présente invention d'offrir un revêtement dont le prix de revient par unité de surface est modéré.It is also an object of the present invention to provide a coating with a moderate cost price per unit area.

    Ces buts sont atteints selon l'invention par un revêtement rigide comprenant des bandes de contact saillantes plus souples permettant un montage flottant sur un support, par exemple sur le sol. Selon l'invention, l'on effectue des rainures, par exemple dans des plaques de bois, que l'on remplit de colle souple. Après la prise de la colle, une ablation de la matière entre les rainures, avantageusement sur la profondeur inférieure à la profondeur de la rainure, découvre les bandes de contact en saillies.These objects are achieved according to the invention by a rigid coating including more flexible projecting contact strips allowing a floating mounting on a support, for example on the ground. According to the invention, one makes grooves, for example in wooden plates, which are filled flexible glue. After the glue has set, the material is removed between the grooves, advantageously on the depth less than the depth of the groove, uncovers the protruding contact strips.

    L'invention a principalement pour objet un procédé de fabrication d'un revêtement de surface, notamment de revêtement de sol comportant les étapes consistant à :

  • b) remplir les premiers évidements avec une colle souple affleurant à la surface de la plaque ou de la latte ;

    L'invention sera mieux comprise au moyen de la description ci-après et des figures annexées données comme des exemples non limitatifs, et sur lesquelles :

    • la figure 1 comporte des vues des diverses étapes de réalisation d'un premier exemple de réalisation d'un revêtement selon la présente invention ;
    • la figure 2 comporte des vues des diverses étapes de réalisation d'un deuxième exemple de réalisation d'un revêtement selon la présente invention ;
    • la figure 3 comporte des vues des diverses étapes de fabrication d'un troisième exemple de réalisation d'un revêtement selon la présente invention.
    The invention will be better understood by means of the description below and the appended figures given as nonlimiting examples, and in which:
    • Figure 1 includes views of the various steps for producing a first embodiment of a coating according to the present invention;
    • Figure 2 includes views of the various stages of production of a second embodiment of a coating according to the present invention;
    • Figure 3 includes views of the various stages of manufacturing a third embodiment of a coating according to the present invention.

    Sur les figures 1 à 3, l'on a utilisé les mêmes références pour désigner les mêmes éléments.In FIGS. 1 to 3, the same references have been used for designate the same elements.

    Sur la figure 1, l'on peut voir les diverses étapes de réalisation d'un revêtement selon l'invention à partir d'une planche ou d'une latte de bois 1, comme illustré sur la figure la. La planche ou la latte 1 est rainurée en U de section constante sur toute la longueur de la planche ou latte 1, comme illustré sur la figure 1b.In Figure 1, we can see the various stages of production of a coating according to the invention from a wooden board or slat 1, as illustrated in Figure la. The board or slat 1 is grooved in a U of constant section over the entire length of the board or batten 1, as illustrated in Figure 1b.

    Les rainures 2 sont remplies avec de la colle souple 3, par exemple à l'aide d'une colle polyuréthanne souple. L'on peut mettre en oeuvre diverses techniques pour remplir de colle les rainures 2. Par exemple, la colle est coulée dans les rainures 2 ou, y est injectée par injection ou extrusion.The grooves 2 are filled with flexible adhesive 3, by example using a flexible polyurethane adhesive. We can implement various techniques for filling the grooves with glue 2. For example, glue is poured into the grooves 2 or, is injected therein by injection or extrusion.

    Après la solidification de la colle 3, l'on obtient une planche ou une latte en bois 1 d'épaisseur E1 comprenant des bandes en matériau souple affleurantes. L'on effectue alors l'ablation sur une profondeur E3 du bois se trouvant entre les dépôts de colle 3, qui forment alors des bandes de contact élastiques saillantes 3.1. Avantageusement, l'épaisseur E3 des ablations est inférieure à l'épaisseur E2 restante de la planche ou de la latte de bois 1 ainsi qu'à la profondeur des rainures 2. Cette profondeur E3 dépend de l'écrasement maximal des bandes de contact élastiques saillantes que l'on veut tolérer. E3 est comprise par exemple entre 0,5 et 5 mm, entre 0,5 et 10 mm ou, de préférence, entre 1 et 3 mm, suivant notamment les normes d'écrasement tolérées en vigueur dans les pays auxquels le revêtement est destiné.After the glue 3 has solidified, a board or a wooden slat 1 of thickness E1 comprising strips of flexible material flush. The ablation is then carried out on a depth E3 of the wood between the adhesive deposits 3, which then form contact strips protruding elastic bands 3.1. Advantageously, the thickness E3 of the ablations is less than the remaining thickness E2 of the plank or of the wooden slat 1 as well than at the depth of the grooves 2. This depth E3 depends on the crushing maximum of the protruding elastic contact strips which it is desired to tolerate. E3 is for example between 0.5 and 5 mm, between 0.5 and 10 mm or, preferably between 1 and 3 mm, in particular according to crushing standards tolerated in force in the countries for which the coating is intended.

    Sur la figure 1e, l'on peut voir un élément d'un revêtement selon la présente invention posé sur le sol. Les bandes de contact saillantes 3.1 sont écrasées sous le poids du revêtement et de la charge, par exemple les personnes et/ou les meubles. La planche en bois 1 n'est pas en contact avec le support 4, ce qui permet une excellente isolation acoustique. Les éléments du revêtement selon la présente invention sont assemblés pour former le revêtement complet de la surface, par exemple du sol. Avantageusement, chaque élément a les dimensions standardisées des lattes ou plaques de parquet. Toutefois, le revêtement selon l'invention, en plus du fait qu'il procure une excellente isolation acoustique, permet une mise en oeuvre plus facile, avantageusement par pose directe, des bandes de contact saillantes 3.1 sur le support 4 sans nécessité de mise en oeuvre de solives ou d'autres supports intermédiaires. De plus, des bandes de contact élastiques saillantes permettent de compenser une irrégularité du support 4.In Figure 1e, we can see an element of a coating according to the present invention placed on the ground. The protruding contact strips 3.1 are crushed under the weight of the coating and the load, for example people and / or furniture. The wooden board 1 is not in contact with the support 4, which provides excellent sound insulation. The elements of coating according to the present invention are assembled to form the complete coating of the surface, for example the ground. Advantageously, each element has the standardized dimensions of the slats or plates of parquet. However, the coating according to the invention, in addition to the fact that it provides excellent sound insulation, allows easier implementation, advantageously by direct laying, protruding contact strips 3.1 on the support 4 without the need for joists or other supports intermediaries. In addition, protruding elastic contact strips allow compensate for an irregularity in the support 4.

    Sur la figure 2, l'on peut voir une variante de réalisation de revêtement de sol selon la présente invention associant la décoration décrite dans le Brevet EP 0 309 356 et les bandes saillantes souples d'isolation acoustique.In Figure 2, we can see an alternative embodiment of floor covering according to the present invention combining the decoration described in Patent EP 0 309 356 and the projecting flexible insulating strips acoustic.

    Sur la figure 2a, l'on peut voir une planche ou une latte 1 comportant une succession de premières rainures 2.1 d'une première profondeur P1 entrelacées avec une succession de secondes rainures 2.2 d'une seconde profondeur P2, P1 étant supérieure à P2. Les rainures 2.1 et 2.2 sont séparées par des nervures 5 de hauteur constante.In Figure 2a, we can see a board or slat 1 comprising a succession of first grooves 2.1 of a first depth P1 interleaved with a succession of second grooves 2.2 of a second depth P2, P1 being greater than P2. Grooves 2.1 and 2.2 are separated by ribs 5 of constant height.

    Dans la variante de réalisation illustrée sur la figure 2, la face de la planche ou de la latte 1 opposée aux rainures 2 porte en vis à vis des rainures 2.1 des saillies 6 de faible hauteur.In the alternative embodiment illustrated in FIG. 2, the face of the board or batten 1 opposite the grooves 2 door opposite grooves 2.1 of the projections 6 of low height.

    Les rainures 2.1 sont remplies avec une colle souple, par exemple une colle néoprène, polyuréthanne, époxy-polyuréthanne, avantageusement expansée, selon les charges à supporter et/ou l'isolation acoustique désirée, alors que les rainures 2.2 sont remplies, par exemple, avec une colle dure colorée, par exemple à base de résine époxy, comme illustré sur la figure 2b. L'on peut conférer des propriétés désirées à la colle mise en oeuvre pour remplir les rainures 2.2. Par exemple, l'on peut utiliser une colle conductrice (chargée en particules métalliques ou en carbone) pour évacuer des charges électrostatiques. Un revêtement réalisé avec des colles conductrices peut être mis en oeuvre dans les salles comprenant des équipements électroniques dont le fonctionnement risque d'être perturbé par l'électricité statique comme, par exemple, les ordinateurs. Les nervures 5 sont recouvertes avec une faible épaisseur de colle. Les rainures 2.2 peuvent ne pas être complètement remplies de colle pour tenir compte des saillies 6.The grooves 2.1 are filled with a flexible adhesive, for example a neoprene, polyurethane, epoxy-polyurethane adhesive, advantageously expanded, depending on the loads to be supported and / or the insulation desired acoustics, while the grooves 2.2 are filled, for example, with a colored hard glue, for example based on epoxy resin, as illustrated on Figure 2b. The desired adhesive can be given the desired properties. work to fill the grooves 2.2. For example, you can use glue conductive (charged with metallic particles or carbon) to evacuate electrostatic charges. A coating made with glues conductive can be used in rooms with electronic equipment whose functioning is likely to be disturbed by static electricity, such as computers. The ribs 5 are covered with a small thickness of glue. The grooves 2.2 may not be completely filled with glue to take account of the projections 6.

    L'on assure le collage d'une superposition de planches ou lattes 1, comme l'on peut le voir sur la figure 2c. Les saillies 6 pénètrent dans les rainures 2.2. L'on découpe le bloc formé par la superposition des planches 1 de la figure 2c en tranches selon des plans de coupe C parallèles entre eux et perpendiculaires aux plans des planches ou lattes, chaque plan de coupe C passant par une nervure 5. L'on met en oeuvre une scie, par exemple circulaire ou à ruban dont l'épaisseur de la lame est suffisante pour effacer complètement la nervure 5. L'épaisseur du trait de coupe référencée E4 est symbolisée par les traits 7 sur la figure 2C. Les plans de coupe C passent par une nervure 5 sur deux, de manière à obtenir des planches ou des lattes 11 d'épaisseur E5 de la figure 2d comportant sur une première face des éléments décoratifs formés par la colle colorée dure 8 séparés par des éléments en bois 9, et sur la face opposée, des bandes de colle souple 3 séparées par des pièces en bois 10.We ensure the bonding of a superposition of boards or slats 1, as can be seen in Figure 2c. The projections 6 penetrate into the grooves 2.2. We cut the block formed by the superposition of the boards 1 of FIG. 2c in slices according to section planes C parallel to each other and perpendicular to the planes of the boards or slats, each cutting plane C passing through a rib 5. A saw is used, for example a circular saw or tape with sufficient blade thickness to completely erase the rib 5. The thickness of the cutting line referenced E4 is symbolized by the lines 7 in FIG. 2C. The section planes C pass through a rib 5 on two, so as to obtain boards or slats 11 of thickness E5 of the FIG. 2d comprising on a first face decorative elements formed by the colored hard glue 8 separated by wooden elements 9, and on the face opposite, strips of flexible glue 3 separated by wooden pieces 10.

    En effectuant une ablation du bois dans les éléments 10, comme illustré sur la figure 2e, l'on découvre des bandes de contact 3.1 saillantes, qui comme illustré sur la figure 2f, permettent un montage flottant sur un support 4 du revêtement selon la présente invention.By removing the wood in elements 10, as illustrated in figure 2e, we discover contact strips 3.1 projections, which as illustrated in Figure 2f, allow floating mounting on a support 4 for the coating according to the present invention.

    Il est à noter que la planche ou latte 1 de la figure 2a est très voisine ou identique à la planche illustrée sur la figure 9 du Brevet EP 0 309 356 précité. Toutefois, le plan de coupe C dans le cas du Brevet précité passe par le milieu des rainures D1 et D2 et non pas par les nervures 5, comme dans le cas de la présente invention. De plus, ce Brevet ne décrit pas d'opération d'ablation d'une partie du bois des éléments 10, contrairement à la présente invention (voir figure 2e).It should be noted that the board or batten 1 of FIG. 2a is very close to or identical to the board illustrated in Figure 9 of the Patent EP 0 309 356 cited above. However, section plane C in the case of the Patent mentioned above goes through the middle of the grooves D1 and D2 and not through the ribs 5, as in the case of the present invention. Furthermore, this Patent does not describe ablation operation of part of the wood of the elements 10, unlike the present invention (see Figure 2e).

    Sur la figure 3, l'on peut voir un revêtement de sol selon la présente invention constituant un perfectionnement du revêtement du sol des figures 5 et 6 du Brevet EP 0 309 356 précité. Chaque planche 1 comporte une succession de rainures 2.1 et 2.2 séparées par une nervure 5' de grande largeur, les rainures 2.1 et 2.2 proches étant séparées par une nervure 5 de faible largeur, comme l'on peut le voir sur la figure 2a. Les rainures 2.1 sont remplies avec une colle souple, tandis que les rainures 2.2 sont remplies avec une colle dure colorée, par exemple à base de résine époxy.In Figure 3, we can see a floor covering according to the present invention constituting an improvement of the floor covering of Figures 5 and 6 of the aforementioned Patent EP 0 309 356. Each plate 1 has a succession of grooves 2.1 and 2.2 separated by a 5 'long rib width, the grooves 2.1 and 2.2 close being separated by a rib 5 of narrow width, as can be seen in Figure 2a. The grooves 2.1 are filled with flexible glue, while the grooves 2.2 are filled with a colored hard glue, for example based on epoxy resin.

    Les planches ou les lattes 1 sont collées les unes sur les autres, comme l'on peut le voir sur la figure 3b. L'on effectue la découpe selon que l'on découpe C perpendiculaire au plan des planches ou lattes 1 et passant par les nervures 5 de faible largeur. L'on obtient ainsi des planches ou lattes 11 de la figure 3c.The boards or slats 1 are glued to each other others, as can be seen in Figure 3b. We cut according to that we cut C perpendicular to the plane of the boards or slats 1 and passing by the ribs 5 of small width. We thus obtain planks or slats 11 of Figure 3c.

    L'on effectue l'ablation partielle du bois des éléments 10, comme illustré sur la figure 3d. Les bandes de contact 3.1 permettent un montage flottant du revêtement de sol selon la présente invention, comme illustré sur la figure 3e.We carry out the partial ablation of the wood of the elements 10, as illustrated in figure 3d. The contact strips 3.1 allow a floating mounting of the floor covering according to the present invention, as illustrated in Figure 3e.

    Le revêtement de sol de la figure 3 est différent du revêtement de sol des figures 5 et 6 du Brevet EP 0 309 356 précité, en ce que, d'une part, l'on utilise une colle souple, au moins dans les rainures 2.1 et, d'autre part, l'on effectue (comme l'on peut le voir sur la figure 3d) l'ablation d'une partie du bois des éléments 10 séparant les bandes souples 3.The floor covering in Figure 3 is different from the floor covering soil of Figures 5 and 6 of the aforementioned Patent EP 0 309 356, in that, on the one hand, a flexible adhesive is used, at least in the grooves 2.1 and, on the other hand, performs (as can be seen in Figure 3d) the ablation of part of the wood elements 10 separating the flexible bands 3.

    Il est bien entendu que la présente invention n'est pas limitée à la mise en oeuvre de rainures permettant d'obtenir des bandes, mais peut également s'appliquer à d'autres formes, comme par exemple à des plots, notamment cylindriques saillants, obtenus dans des trous pratiqués dans des planches ou lattes de bois.It is understood that the present invention is not limited to the implementation of grooves to obtain strips, but can also apply to other shapes, like for example studs, in particular protruding cylindrical, obtained in holes made in wooden boards or slats.

    De même, la présente invention n'est pas limitée à la mise en oeuvre de planches ou plaques en bois, mais s'étend au contraire, par exemple, aux dérivés du bois du type panneaux de particules de bois ou des panneaux de fibres de moyenne densité (MDF).Similarly, the present invention is not limited to the implementation work of wooden boards or plates, but extends on the contrary, for example, to wood derivatives such as wood particle boards or panels of medium density fibers (MDF).

    Le revêtement selon la présente invention peut être appliqué sur les sols mais également sur les murs pour obtenir les caractéristiques acoustiques désirées. Il peut être muni, sur la face exposée, d'éléments absorbant les ondes acoustiques, par exemple des dépôts de mousse à alvéoles ouvertes pratiqués dans des rainures.The coating according to the present invention can be applied on the floors but also on the walls to obtain the characteristics desired acoustics. It can be provided, on the exposed face, with elements absorbing acoustic waves, for example foam deposits at open cells in grooves.
