Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tool stand for holding and longitudinally displaceable guiding of tools, in particular stone drills and saws, with a stand base, a guide profile on which the tool is guided and along which it can be moved, a holder for holding the guide profile on the stand base, one between the guide profile and the stand base arranged support strut, which is articulated to the guide profile and with the stand base, and a first pivot bearing on the bracket with a first axis of rotation for pivoting the guide profile relative to the stand base in the plane spanned by the guide profile and the support strut.
  • the guide profile (the drilling column) is attached to the stand base in an upstanding manner.
  • the tool in this case the (stone) drill, can be moved along the guide profile by hand or by machine.
  • Such tool stands can normally be used to drill holes whose axes are perpendicular to the plane in which the stand base is aligned. Due to the limited space and the desired alignment of the holes to be drilled, the possibility of aligning the guide profile relative to the stand base at an angle other than 90 ° is often desirable.
  • the drill column of which can be pivoted about a (first) axis relative to the stand foot.
  • a holder for the guide profile is pivotally connected to the stand base in such a way that the guide profile can be pivoted in a plane perpendicular to the stand base, which is spanned by the guide profile and a support strut arranged between it and the stand base.
  • the known drill stands allow the guide profile to be pivoted out of the vertical up to angles of up to approximately 50 ° to the vertical or up to 30 ° between the guide profile and the stand base. With a guide profile that is oriented at an angle to the stand base, drill holes can be drilled obliquely away from the stand base.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a tool stand for holding and longitudinally displaceable guiding tools, in particular stone drills and saws, with the machining of workpieces, in particular of rock, the machining of which even in confined spaces and in areas that are difficult to access tool held and guided is possible.
  • the invention proposes in a tool stand of the type mentioned at the outset to provide the holder for the guide profile with a second pivot bearing whose (second) axis of rotation for pivoting the guide profile relative to the stand base is perpendicular to the first axis of rotation, the two Axes of rotation of the bracket are spaced apart.
  • the guide profile holder that is to say the unit via which the guide profile is connected to the stand base, has two axes of rotation which run at right angles to one another without crossing each other.
  • the two axes of rotation are therefore spaced apart.
  • the guide profile can be aligned obliquely in space to a greater extent than in the prior art, in order to be able to carry out the work on the workpiece or stone. Both axes of rotation are perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the guide profile.
  • the two pivot bearings of the holder can be locked in the respective (stepless) rotational position, in particular by clamping, so that an unwanted rotation is prevented.
  • the axes of rotation are preferably arranged above that region of the upper side of the stand base above which the guide profile can be pivoted when it is rotated about the axis of rotation in question.
  • the two axes of rotation each represent "highest" points for regions of the stand base.
  • the first axis of rotation should preferably be arranged above the second axis of rotation. Due to the arrangement of the two axes of rotation at the positions of the stand base exposed as described above, it is possible on the one hand to pivot the guide profile around the second pivot bearing on both sides of the stand base by a total of 180 ° (or, depending on the design, more), namely by 90 ° ( or more) on either side of the vertical orientation.
  • the guide profile can be pivoted about this from the vertical to the front and to the rear by 90 ° in extreme cases.
  • a pivoting about the first axis of rotation by more than 60 ° to 70 ° forwards out of the vertical is of little use in this respect If the base of the stand base was processed immediately below it, which is not absolutely recommended for reasons of stability.
  • the holder has a holder element to which the guide profile is fastened and an intermediate piece which is connected to the holder element rotatably about the first axis of rotation and to the stand base rotatably about the second axis of rotation.
  • the mounting element and the stand base are thus coupled to one another via the intermediate piece.
  • the two pivot bearings of the holder can preferably be fixed by friction (clamping) force.
  • the parts which can be rotated relative to one another can be clamped together, with the result that the clamping force for fixing the rotary bearings is applied.
  • the tool stand is particularly user-friendly in that only the two rotary bearings are released for pivoting the guide profile, the guide profile is brought into the desired orientation in space and then the rotary bearings are tightened again.
  • the stand base is preferably provided with a crossbeam and two splayed support beams arranged on its two sides.
  • the second pivot bearing of the holder or the intermediate piece of the holder is around the second Rotational axis rotatably mounted
  • This second axis of rotation runs parallel to the longitudinal axis of the crossbar.
  • the two support beams run at an angle to the cross beam and protrude beyond the (front) end of the cross beam provided with the second pivot bearing.
  • the tops of the two support beams are preferably arranged below the top of the crossbar.
  • the second axis of rotation lies above the two support beams, while the first axis of rotation is arranged above the crossbar and thus also above the second axis of rotation.
  • the support strut arranged between the guide profile and the stand base is rotatably mounted at one end on the stand base and displaceably at the other end on the guide profile and can be fixed thereon in its respective displacement position.
  • the support strut which is rigid in its length, changes its articulation point on the guide profile when it is pivoted in space.
  • the displacement and fixing of the support strut on the guide profile is preferably stepless.
  • Such a design of the tool stand means that tool extensions, such as drill bit extensions, which lead to tool instability, can be dispensed with. Due to the displaceability of the guide profile, the entire tool length can be used for machining the workpiece or rock even when the guide profile is inclined.
  • a tool stand 10 for a stone drill is shown in side view.
  • the tool stand 10 has a stand base 12 on which a guide profile 14 is arranged so as to protrude.
  • the guide profile is articulated at its lower end section via a holder 16 to the stand base 12.
  • a support strut 18 is provided, which is connected at one end to the stand base 12 and at the other end to the guide profile 14.
  • the ends of the support strut 18 are rotatably connected to the stand base 12 and the guide profile 14 about two axes which run at right angles to one another.
  • One of the two axes runs at right angles to the stand base 12 or to the guide profile 14, while the other axis runs at right angles to the former and crosses them. These two other axes also run parallel to each other. Furthermore, one of the two ends of the support strut 18 is designed to be rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the support strut 18 with respect to the remaining part of the support strut 18. This situation should be indicated at 20 in FIG. 1. While the connection of the support strut 18 to the stand base 12 is fixed (except for the rotatability about two axes), the other end of the support strut 18 is guided on the guide profile 14 so as to be longitudinally displaceable.
  • the guide profile 14 has one indicated at 22 in the longitudinal direction extending guide groove in which a bearing block 24 is guided, on which the rotatable end 20 of the support strut 18 is articulated.
  • the bearing block can be fixed in position relative to the guide profile 14 by clamping force.
  • the reason for this configuration of the support strut 18, with its ends rotatably mounted about two axes each, is due to the design of the guide profile 14, which can also be pivoted about two axes of rotation extending at right angles to one another, which will be explained in more detail below.
  • the guide profile 14 has a toothed rack 26 on its front side facing away from the support strut 18 and the guide groove 22.
  • a tool slide 28 is arranged to be longitudinally displaceable. This tool slide 28 encompasses the guide profile 14 laterally and is guided on the sides along guide rails 30.
  • the tool slide 28 is provided with a gear (not shown) that meshes with the rack 26.
  • the gearwheel can be set in rotation by means of a handwheel 32 and thus the tool slide 28 can be moved along the guide profile 14.
  • the handwheel 32 can be plugged onto the axis of the gearwheel.
  • the gearwheel axis extends transversely to the guide profile 14 through the tool slide 28 and laterally beyond it.
  • the handwheel 32 can be plugged onto both projecting ends of the gearwheel axis and can thus be implemented in order to be able to be fitted in accordance with the available space.
  • the housing of a drilling machine 34 is flanged to the tool carriage 28 and is equipped with a stone drill crown 36.
  • the stand base 12 is, as indicated at 38, pegged to the floor 40 on which it rests.
  • the stand base 12 has a cross bar 42 with a rectangular cross section, at the front end of which, on which the guide profile 14 is held via the holder 16, two side support bars 44 are welded, which run at an acute angle to the cross bar 42 and over the front end survive.
  • the support beams 44 which are also square in cross section, are flatter than the cross beam 42, with all of the undersides being flush with one another.
  • the stand base 12 rests on the floor 40 via support pieces 46 attached to the undersides of the support beams 42, 44 and a support 47 attached to the rear end of the cross beam 42, which also receives the pivot bearing for the support strut 18.
  • the holder 16 has two rotary bearings 48, 50, the two axes of rotation 52, 54 of which run at right angles to one another without intersecting.
  • the first rotary bearing 48 represents the (rotary) connection between a mounting element 56 and an intermediate piece 58 of the mounting 16.
  • the mounting element 56 encompasses the guide profile 14 on both sides and is in the guide groove 22 of the guide profile and in two side guide grooves 60 are also formed in the guide profile 14, guided.
  • the bracket 56 can be tightened by screws or the like. in clamping engagement with the guide profile 14 bring to keep the guide profile, secured against longitudinal displacement relative to the support member 56.
  • the holding element 56 has an essentially disk-like part 62, which rests with its one circular surface on one of the two circular surfaces of another disk part 64, which in turn is part of the intermediate piece 58.
  • the two disk parts 62, 64 can be rotated relative to one another about the first axis of rotation 52 and are oriented in the direction of the plane spanned by the guide profile 14 and the support strut.
  • the first axis of rotation 52 thus runs perpendicular to the plane spanned by the guide profile 14 and the support strut 18.
  • the two washer parts 62, 64 are connected to one another by a threaded bolt 66 which penetrates one of the two washer parts and is in threaded engagement with an internally threaded hole of the other washer part. By tightening this threaded bolt 66, the two disk parts 62, 64 of the holding element 56 and the intermediate piece 58 are clamped together, whereby the relative rotational position of the holding element and the intermediate piece is fixed.
  • the intermediate piece 58 has a further disk-like part 68 which is firmly connected to the disk part 64 and is rotated by approximately 90 ° with respect to the disk part 64.
  • the disk part 68 is oriented transversely to the longitudinal extent of the crossbar 42 and is located at its front end in the region of the lower end of the guide profile 14.
  • a counterpressure plate 70 is welded to the front end of the crossbar 42, with which a pressure plate 72 having an L-shaped cross section is welded is attached. In the space between these two plates 70.72 the disk part 68 of the intermediate piece 58 is immersed.
  • a threaded bolt 74 extends through the pressure plate 72, the disk part 68 of the intermediate piece 58 and the counter pressure plate 70, in which it is in threaded engagement with the internal thread of a through hole.
  • the receptacle of the holding element 56 encompassing the guide profile 14 is so far upstream that the guide profile 14 is freely displaceable past the pressure plate 72.
  • the first axis of rotation 52 is arranged above the second axis of rotation 54 and above the crossbar 42 at such a distance that the guide profile 14 can be pivoted about the first axis of rotation 52 such that it is parallel to the crossbar 52 and runs above it.
  • the guide profile 14 can also be pivoted about the first axis of rotation 52 in the opposite direction, preferably by up to 60 ° to 70 ° to the vertical.
  • the second axis of rotation 54 is arranged above the upper sides of the support beams 44 of the stand base 12, which results in particular from FIG. 1. This makes it possible to pivot the guide profile 14 by a total of 180 ° about the second axis of rotation 54 without parts of the stand base restricting this pivoting range of 180 °.
  • FIG. 5 shows in perspective a spatial orientation of the guide profile 14 when rotated about the axes of rotation both pivot bearings 48, 50 of the holder 16.
  • This illustration of the tool stand 10 also shows the feature of the longitudinal displaceability of the guide profile in the receptacle of the holder element 56.
  • the guide profile 14 can be moved until its lower end is arranged directly above the bottom 40, so that the full tool length (length of the stone drill bit 36) can be used to carry out the processing of the bottom 40, so tool extensions are not required.
