Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for producing diaphragm walls, in which a trench is excavated by means of an excavation device and a formwork which closes off the trench and is composed of one or more elements is attached, and the formwork after the introduction and consolidation of the concrete by means of an implement, especially the excavator, is removed again.
- the present invention relates to a shuttering element for performing this method.
- Such concreted diaphragm walls are erected wherever sheet piling or the like is not possible or desirable, and in large buildings with several underground floors, the diaphragm walls can reach a great depth.
- One method to which the present patent application relates is to dig a trench while simultaneously pouring in a thixotropic liquid to prevent the side walls from collapsing, this thixotropic liquid being gradually sucked off and recycled when the concrete is introduced. After reaching the target excavation point of the construction pit closure, the formwork described is moved, then the bentonite suspension is sanded, the required reinforcement is added and then the required concrete is poured.
- a method is also known from CH-A-665 241, in which two guide walls are first erected along the excavated walls and the end wall is erected between these two guide walls, individual shuttering elements being built one on top of the other. Here too, the shuttering walls are pulled vertically out of the trench.
- a slit wall piece is already concreted in the trench 2, and the formwork 3 has been installed in the trench, it being essential that the trench 2 is somewhat deeper than the slit wall piece provided.
- the supporting liquid is sanded and the reinforcement installed.
- concrete is introduced into this trench section, which is heavier than the thixotropic liquid and the latter can be suctioned off at the top, in order to then be recycled.
- the formwork After the concrete has solidified, the formwork must be removed again, and it is a feature of the present invention that this formwork is no longer pulled vertically out of the trench, but when the following diaphragm wall element is lifted out by a gripping member 5 (see FIG. 4 ) is grasped on a holder 6 provided for this purpose and is first pulled away horizontally and then pulled out obliquely, as will be explained in more detail below.
- the formwork generally consists of individual elements 7 arranged vertically one above the other, since using a single formwork element with a high diaphragm wall would make this much too heavy and unwieldy.
- the formwork elements are essentially designed as a hollow box, which has an approximately trapezoidal cross section.
- commercially available parts are used to manufacture the formwork elements.
- the box-shaped, trough-shaped part 8 pointing towards the wall is a commercially available sheet pile wall element, the end parts 9 of which are not used in the present case and are protected against contamination by a seal 10.
- a similar one can be produced and used that contains flat walls.
- the formwork element is closed at the top and bottom by a cover or bottom 12, in which bores 13 are arranged, the purpose of which will be apparent from FIG. 5.
- a rail 14 is welded to the formwork wall 11 and extends along the center line, it need not extend over the entire length of the element. Instead of a commercially available and readily available rail, it is also possible to use another suitable holder which can be gripped behind by a gripping member in order to be able to move the formwork element essentially horizontally and then obliquely upwards.
- joint tapes or body tapes which are designed to be concreted in.
- formwork according to the Swiss patent mentioned at the beginning, up to half of the extended joint tape is held on the outside of the formwork, and there is a risk of damage to the joint tape when the formwork is removed.
- an angle piece 16 is attached to the outer surface 15 facing the wall, approximately in the longitudinal center line, against which half of a joint tape 17 known per se rests.
- the other half of the Joint tape is held by an elastic element 18, which is fastened, for example, on a bar 19 along the outer surface 15.
- the elastic element also has the task of protecting the underlying half of the joint tape from the thixotropic liquid and the concrete. When concreting, one half of the joint tape is concreted in, while the other half comes to lie in the open starting position of the joint tape after removal of the formwork element, see. Fig. 1.
- the removal of the shuttering elements is shown schematically.
- the gripping member 5 adapted to the rail 14 is pushed onto the rail from above and the upper end of the shuttering element, as shown in FIG. 3, is pulled away horizontally by the working device 20, which is the excavating device in the present case, until it has come off the diaphragm wall and can then be easily removed.
- the formwork can consist of a plurality of formwork elements, here for example two, wherein one formwork element can have a length of 12.5 m.
- 5 shows the connection of two formwork elements 7 and 7a placed vertically one on top of the other. The rigid connection is established by means of two or more screws 21 or push pins which are pushed through the holes 13 provided in the cover or base 12.
- openings 22 and 23 are provided at both ends of the shuttering walls, which are held closed, for example, by spring-loaded flaps 24 and 25 and can be closed by means of a bolt 26.
- other solutions are also conceivable in order to be able to access the screws. However, access must be relative be simple in order to be able to take the individual elements apart while the formwork is being removed.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing diaphragm walls, in which a trench is excavated by means of an excavation device and a formwork which closes off the trench and is composed of one or more elements is attached, and the formwork after the introduction and consolidation of the concrete by means of an implement, especially the excavator, is removed again. In addition, the present invention relates to a shuttering element for performing this method.
Such concreted diaphragm walls are erected wherever sheet piling or the like is not possible or desirable, and in large buildings with several underground floors, the diaphragm walls can reach a great depth. One method to which the present patent application relates is to dig a trench while simultaneously pouring in a thixotropic liquid to prevent the side walls from collapsing, this thixotropic liquid being gradually sucked off and recycled when the concrete is introduced. After reaching the target excavation point of the construction pit closure, the formwork described is moved, then the bentonite suspension is sanded, the required reinforcement is added and then the required concrete is poured. In all of the previously known methods, to remove the formwork, it is gripped from above with a working device, as a rule with a retraction pulling device, and detached vertically from the wall and pulled out of the trench. This requires a relatively large amount of effort and often additional work has to be done before the formwork can be lifted out, and there is a risk of either damage the formwork or the already concreted wall.
A method is also known from CH-A-665 241, in which two guide walls are first erected along the excavated walls and the end wall is erected between these two guide walls, individual shuttering elements being built one on top of the other. Here too, the shuttering walls are pulled vertically out of the trench.
Based on this, it is the object of the present invention to provide a method and a formwork element adapted to it, with which it is possible to remove these formwork elements easily and quickly. This object is achieved with the method and shuttering element described in the claims. A preferred formwork element also has an effective seal.
- Fig. 2 zeigt eine Ausschnittsvergrösserung aus Fig. 1,
- Fig. 4 zeigt einen Schnitt von Fig. 3, und
- 1 shows a section of a partially erected diaphragm wall with a shuttering element according to the invention,
- FIG. 2 shows an enlarged detail from FIG. 1,
- 3 schematically outlines the removal of formwork elements from the trench,
- Fig. 4 shows a section of Fig. 3, and
- Fig. 5 shows the connection of two formwork elements in longitudinal section.
Fig. 4) an einer dafür vorgesehenen Halterung 6 erfasst und zunächst horizontal weggezogen und anschliessend schräg herausgezogen wird, wie weiter unten noch näher erläutert wird.1, the workflow can be roughly sketched as follows, sections of the trench already being present in FIG. 1. In Fig. 1, a slit wall piece is already concreted in the trench 2, and the formwork 3 has been installed in the trench, it being essential that the trench 2 is somewhat deeper than the slit wall piece provided. After the formwork has been attached, the supporting liquid is sanded and the reinforcement installed. Subsequently, concrete is introduced into this trench section, which is heavier than the thixotropic liquid and the latter can be suctioned off at the top, in order to then be recycled. After the concrete has solidified, the formwork must be removed again, and it is a feature of the present invention that this formwork is no longer pulled vertically out of the trench, but when the following diaphragm wall element is lifted out by a gripping member 5 (see FIG. 4 ) is grasped on a holder 6 provided for this purpose and is first pulled away horizontally and then pulled out obliquely, as will be explained in more detail below.
The formwork generally consists of individual elements 7 arranged vertically one above the other, since using a single formwork element with a high diaphragm wall would make this much too heavy and unwieldy. The formwork elements are essentially designed as a hollow box, which has an approximately trapezoidal cross section. To simplify and reduce the cost of manufacture, commercially available parts are used to manufacture the formwork elements. In the present exemplary embodiment, the box-shaped, trough-shaped part 8 pointing towards the wall is a commercially available sheet pile wall element, the end parts 9 of which are not used in the present case and are protected against contamination by a seal 10. Of course Instead of a sheet pile wall element already on the market, a similar one can be produced and used that contains flat walls. The shuttering wall 11, which closes the trench and is wider than the box-shaped element 8, is fastened on the box-shaped element 8. The formwork element is closed at the top and bottom by a cover or bottom 12, in which bores 13 are arranged, the purpose of which will be apparent from FIG. 5. A rail 14 is welded to the formwork wall 11 and extends along the center line, it need not extend over the entire length of the element. Instead of a commercially available and readily available rail, it is also possible to use another suitable holder which can be gripped behind by a gripping member in order to be able to move the formwork element essentially horizontally and then obliquely upwards.
In the case of a diaphragm wall consisting of sections, it is essential that no moisture can get through the wall at the seams between the individual sections. For this purpose, joint tapes or body tapes are known which are designed to be concreted in. With the previously known formwork according to the Swiss patent mentioned at the beginning, up to half of the extended joint tape is held on the outside of the formwork, and there is a risk of damage to the joint tape when the formwork is removed.
Fig. 1.In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, an angle piece 16 is attached to the outer surface 15 facing the wall, approximately in the longitudinal center line, against which half of a joint tape 17 known per se rests. The other half of the Joint tape is held by an elastic element 18, which is fastened, for example, on a bar 19 along the outer surface 15. The elastic element also has the task of protecting the underlying half of the joint tape from the thixotropic liquid and the concrete. When concreting, one half of the joint tape is concreted in, while the other half comes to lie in the open starting position of the joint tape after removal of the formwork element, see. Fig. 1.
4, the gripping member 5 adapted to the rail 14 is pushed onto the rail from above and the upper end of the shuttering element, as shown in FIG. 3, is pulled away horizontally by the working device 20, which is the excavating device in the present case, until it has come off the diaphragm wall and can then be easily removed.
In FIG. 3 it is also indicated that the formwork can consist of a plurality of formwork elements, here for example two, wherein one formwork element can have a length of 12.5 m. 5 shows the connection of two formwork elements 7 and 7a placed vertically one on top of the other. The rigid connection is established by means of two or more screws 21 or push pins which are pushed through the holes 13 provided in the cover or base 12. In order to be able to insert and screw the screws 21, openings 22 and 23 are provided at both ends of the shuttering walls, which are held closed, for example, by spring-loaded flaps 24 and 25 and can be closed by means of a bolt 26. Of course, other solutions are also conceivable in order to be able to access the screws. However, access must be relative be simple in order to be able to take the individual elements apart while the formwork is being removed.
