Description
The invention relates to a pushbutton on printed circuit boards with an electrically conductive snap disk which is embedded in a recess in a spacer layer between a cover film and the printed circuit board coated with conductor tracks.
Such push buttons with snap disks are described as a membrane keyboard with a pressure point in DE-A-31 45 434. These are make contacts that short-circuit an electrical circuit when operated mechanically. Furthermore, FR-A-2 447 598 shows various forms of film pushbuttons, in which the partly moved conductor tracks are applied to deformable films, and conveys the principle of an opener in the form of a spiral spring clamped in by a film coated with a conductor track is lifted from its support on this conductor track.
Breaker buttons have the task of interrupting circuits with a direct effect for safety reasons. They must be characterized by a long service life and operational safety and must not cause incorrect switching due to shocks and vibrations. They are almost always used right next to the closing pushbuttons. Although pushbuttons have been used as closers for several years Membrane keyboards are used, there are hardly any equivalent designs for Openers. The object of the invention is therefore to create a pushbutton that is equivalent or better to be closed for membrane keyboards.
According to the invention, the object is achieved in that the snap disk has contact tabs and pull tabs offset from one another, in that the pull tabs are anchored to the snap disk on the printed circuit board under tension and by the contact tabs forming an elastic yoke, in the unactuated state they rest only on the conductor tracks and in each case between the contact surface and the snap disk plate have a support knee curved towards the printed circuit board, which is supported on the printed circuit board when the snap disk is pressed down and increases the mechanical resistance, the area between the support knee and the disk plate springing elastically, the knee originally biased towards contact sliding on the printed circuit board Swiveling movement takes place and the end of the contact tab with its contact surface lifts off the conductor track.
Further advantages of the invention can be seen in the fact that only the different arrangement of the conductor tracks and the differently designed snap disks make it possible to manufacture openers and closers on a printed circuit board in a network and that the user receives the same tactile feedback for the execution of the function Exceeding a pressure point is conveyed.
- Fig. 1
- Fig. 2

- Fig. 2
- a graphic representation of the dependence of the actuation force and the contact pressure of an open push button on the deformation path of the snap disk.
The figures show a pushbutton on a printed
In area III, the actuating force Fa initially decreases with progressive deformation in the actuating direction d until the snap disk plate is also seated on the printed circuit board and opposes substantially greater resistance, which protects the other snap disk areas from excessive stress. The contact force Fa in the unactuated state depends on the pretension of the
