- Another improvement which is also the subject of the invention and which pursues the same goal - obtaining a regular rearing rate over the entire surface of the fabric - concerns the small cylinders which guide the fabric to the point of winding (and unwinding) on the winding rollers.
- These small cylinders press more or less on the fabric. They are each mounted on two articulated arms to be able to follow the variation of the diameter of the rollers. Now it happens that, either by wear of the bearings, or by poor alignment of the joints, the support of these cylinders on the roller which concerns them is no longer equal from one edge to the other of the fabric. It follows a different spin and a gradient of the color from one edge to the other.
