Description

The present invention relates to a slab for a raised floor with respect to a load-bearing floor.

  • - disposant sur le sol une pluralité de vérins, déterminants entre eux un quadrillage du sol porteur;
  • - éventuellement, en assemblant les vérins entre eux, au moyen de traverses de renfort, reliant les différents vérins ;
The invention is in the field of raised floors, raised relative to a load-bearing floor, whether it is a new or fitted construction, and obtained by:
  • - arranging on the ground a plurality of jacks, determining between them a grid of the supporting ground;
  • - Optionally, by assembling the jacks together, by means of reinforcing crosspieces, connecting the different jacks;
  • - depositing slabs, contiguous, resting on the jacks, and possibly the sleepers, a jack supporting in cross four corners belonging to four respectively different but adjacent slabs.

In general, a slab intended for a raised floor, comprises, on the one hand a lower face facing the load-bearing floor, which may or may not consist of a metal plate or film, and on the other hand an upper face opposite, coated for example with a laminate, on which machines or furniture are placed, and on which people walk.

  • - un panneau de particules de bois agglomérées, de haute densité ;
A slab of the aforementioned type is already known, having a modular shape and dimensions, for example of square shape, and constituted by:
  • - a panel of high density agglomerated wood particles;
  • - A peripheral lining protecting the edge of this panel, made of plastic material, for example PVC, and having the shape of a profile; the latter has in cross section a core extending in height, from the level of the upper face of the panel to that of the lower face of the same panel.

When these slabs are joined together, on the cylinders defined above, the technical floor obtained generally has leaks. On the one hand, water or humidity can be introduced between the trim and the edge of the panel, and penetrate to the heart of the agglomerated wood particles; which causes swelling or permanent deterioration of the slab. On the other hand, there may be a lack of air tightness between the various assembled slabs; which is a drawback when, for example, it is desired to ensure air circulation in the plenum located between the load-bearing floor and the raised floor.

The present invention proposes to remedy the sealing defects of the slabs defined above. More particularly, the invention relates to a slab having a water and air tightness, when the raised floor is assembled.

According to the invention, the water tightness is ensured in the following manner.

The lining has, adjacent to the upper face of the slab, a protruding bead from the core of the profile towards the edge of the panel, of less hardness than that of the material of the core, and capable of sealing against liquids , by pressing against the panel.

To be airtight, the external face of the profile core has a peripheral lip, intended to overlap the homologous and adjacent lip of a neighboring assembled panel.

The present invention is now described with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which FIG. 1 represents a view in vertical section of two tiles according to the invention, adjacent, and joined together to form a raised floor.

According to the invention, each slab (1) or (2) comprises a panel (3) made of high density agglomerated wood particles, cut for example in square form. A peripheral lining (4) protects the edge (3a) of the panel; this lining is made of plastic material, for example PVC, and has the shape of a profile. As shown in Figure 1, this profile has in cross section a core (4a) extending in height from the level of the upper face (1a) to that of the lower face (1b) of the slab (1) for example.

This cord has a hardness lower than that of the material constituting the core (4a), and is for example obtained in nitrile PVC elastomer. This cord (4b) is capable of sealing against liquids, by pressure between the edge (3a) of the panel and the internal face (4c) of the lining (4). The lining (4) is therefore a bi-material, monobloc profile, the cord material (4b) having a lower hardness than that of the core material (4a). Such a lining is obtained by co-extrusion of two different materials, namely PVC and PVC - nitrile respectively, the first corresponding to the core (4a), and the second to the sealing bead (4b).

The sealing bead (4b) is compressed, or even bent towards the edge (3a) of the panel (3), due to the pressure applied by the lining (4), under the effect of the fixing means described below. .

The profile (4) has two flanges (4d) and (4e), the first upper and adjacent to the upper face (1a), and the second lower and adjacent to the lower face (1b). These two flanges are supported on the edge (3a) of the panel (3), and provide a gap (5) between the latter and the internal face (4c) of the core (4a). The cord (4b) emerges, oblique to the core (4a), at the edge between the latter and the upper edge (4d).

At the lower part of the profile (4), adjacent to the lower face (1b), the core (4a), and more precisely the lower edge (4e), are continuous with a wing (4f) at right angles, directed towards the center of the panel (3), and forming a support angle on the lower part of the panel (3).

A groove (3c), perpendicular to the edge (3a) of the panel (3), is formed continuously in the latter, starting from the edge (3a) above. A plurality of pins (4g) emerge from the internal face (4c ) of the core (4a), and comprise annular crimping beads.

Cet emmanchement comprime au passage le cordon (4b), lorsque le rebord (4d) vient au contact du chant (3a).The lining (4) is assembled to a panel (3), by resting in a lower notch of the same panel, by means of the angle iron (4f), and by fitting the studs (4g) into the groove (3c). This fitting compresses the bead (4b) in passing, when the rim (4d) comes into contact with the edge (3a).

La face externe (4h) de l'âme (4a) du profilé comporte une dépouille permettant et facilitant l'assemblage des différents panneaux (1) et (2).The external face (4h) of the core (4a) of the profile comprises a draft allowing and facilitating the assembly of the various panels (1) and (2).

At the draft, the external face (4h) of the core (4a) of the profile (4) comprises a peripheral lip (4i), directed obliquely downwards, overlapping the homologous and adjacent lip of the panel (2) assembled and neighbor. Each lip has a triangular profile. It can also be obtained in a plastic material different from that of the profile, for example a nitrile PVC, in particular by co-extrusion of two different plastic materials. The two overlapping lips complete, can replace the sealing of the two upper straight edges of the linings (4) belonging to two adjacent adjacent panels.
