Bei dem unteren Blechmantelkäfig 12 werden die Abdeckschei­ben 13 durch das Verdrängungsblech 17 entgegen der Wirkung der Druckfedern 16, die das Gewicht der Abdeckscheiben ausgleichen, nach unten gedrückt. Außerhalb des Bereiches des Verdrängerbleches 17 drücken die Federn 16 die Abdeck­scheiben 13 nach oben bis sie mit ihren Ausnehmungen 14 gegen die Begrenzungszapfen 15 anliegen und dabei kurz unterhalb der Warenbahn 10 fixiert sind. Die Warenbahn kann also zwischen den oberen und unteren Abdeckscheiben frei durch­treten.
