Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a plastic roof membrane in sheet form for pitched roofs and the like, the roof consisting of beams and rafters, arranged between the rafters thermal insulation material, the rafters and the thermal insulation material by a vapor barrier on the roof inside and the rafters through the roof membrane on the outside of the roof are covered, on which a counter battens with formation of a ventilation space and a roof battens is arranged, which serves as a support for the roof covering. A known underlayment is formed from a PE film.
This well-known roofing membrane is used to protect the roof construction parts underneath and the rooms in the loft conversion from drifting snow, rain, dust and soot. The function of this sarking membrane, however, depends largely on the ventilation of the roof working properly.
Basically, the ventilation of the roof is of increasing importance, because roof spaces are increasingly being expanded for residential purposes and this results in more usage moisture and new building moisture, which is also driven out by more powerful heating systems.
Desweiteren werden immer dickere Wärmedämmungen vorgesehen, durch die leizte Wärmeschutzverordnung bis zu 16 cm.Furthermore, increasingly thicker thermal insulation is provided, up to 16 cm thanks to the low thermal insulation regulation.
At such thicknesses, practically the entire cross-section of the rafters is filled with thermal insulation so that there is no space left for ventilation between the thermal insulation and the underlay. This would not be so essential if the vapor barrier or vapor barrier would always fulfill its function.
Als Dampfsperre sind häufig dünne Alufolien aufThin aluminum foils are often used as a vapor barrier
Papier, auch einstückig mit der Wärmedämmung, vorgesehen. Die häufig unzulängliche Verarbeitung durch den Handwerker oder den selbstinstallierenden Heimwerker führt jedoch dazu, daß die Funktion garnicht oder nur unzureichend erfüllt werden kann, weil die dünne Alufolie durchstoßen oderPaper, also in one piece with the thermal insulation, is provided. However, the often inadequate processing by the craftsman or the self-installing handyman means that the function cannot be carried out at all or only inadequately because the thin aluminum foil pierces or
an den Stoßstellen nicht ordnungsgemäß überlappend verlegt ist.is not properly overlapped at the joints.
However, if the vapor barrier is not properly installed, ventilation between the insulation and the underlay is extremely necessary. This is also reflected in the new DIN 4108 and in the revised DDH rules.
However, these rules are often ignored due to ignorance.
The planners and structural engineers would have to provide a higher rafter and thus a larger free cross-section so that there is still room for ventilation.
Furthermore, the planner, especially in the eaves area, would have to provide supply air openings.
In the RE rule, however, brickwork is carried out up to the top edge of the rafters.
Even if the planning is proceeding properly, the site manager would have to monitor the activity of even the last craftsman to ensure that the supply air openings are not plastered again due to ignorance by cleaners or the like.
If the corresponding supply air openings and the corresponding free space between the insulation and the underlay are not provided, condensation forms in the thermal insulation or on the underlay, which leads to the dampening of the thermal insulation with all negative effects.
In order to avoid these existing disadvantages, it has already been proposed to perforate PE films so that moisture forming in the thermal insulation or below the underlay can escape to the outside.
However, the perforation has the disadvantage that dripping water can enter capillary from the outside, as a result of which the desired effect cannot be achieved.
Another suggestion is to manufacture the underlay from high-tensile polyester spunbond with a water-repellent and breathable special coating. A relatively thick fleece must be used for this, as this Fleece for the coating process must have considerable inherent stability. The coating by means of a paste is also of considerable thickness, which results in a high use of materials.
The water-repellent finish protects the construction parts and the rooms underneath from thawing snow and rain, as well as dust and soot, while the water vapor permeability of the material also enables a vapor pressure equalization between inside and outside.
Such a sarking membrane should therefore also allow direct laying on the thermal insulation.
Proceeding from this, the invention has for its object to provide a sarking membrane of the type mentioned, which is so open to diffusion that ventilation is unnecessary, even if the vapor barrier is insufficiently provided, which can be placed directly on the insulation and thus the entire Rafter height usable for thermal insulation, which is also designed so that it is subject to shock loads, for example when driving out the new building moisture, largely prevents the formation of dripping water or the like, and which, with a significantly lower use of material, namely fleece and coating, has high strength and enables large-scale production.
To achieve this object, the invention proposes that the sarking membrane consists of a polyurethane film which is covered on one side, in the installed position on the inside of the building, with a non-woven layer which is intimately connected to the polyurethane film and is largely exposed on the side facing away from it.
The term "largely exposed" is to be understood so that the nonwoven layer is not completely embedded in the PU film, but the PU film only rests on one side of the nonwoven.
The inventive combination of a water vapor permeable pole y urethane with a building side inner fabric layer is achieved a certain buffering effect, which makes it possible to receive even when impact loads of water vapor in sufficient degree and to store temporarily, without that this excess of water vapor condenses.
The fleece layer thus represents a moisture accumulator that is shielded from the outside by a waterproof but extremely vapor-permeable coating. In addition, this sarking membrane according to the invention can also be placed directly on the thermal insulation, it still being irrelevant whether the vapor barrier is provided properly or at all.
A particular advantage of the underlayment according to the invention can also be seen in the fact that the fleece layer serves as a carrier for the film-like PU coating, as a result of which an extremely small dimensioning of the thickness of the PU film layer and the fleece layer is possible, which is advantageous for reasons of material costs. Advantageous further developments are described in the subclaims.
By integrating the network, it is possible to make the PU film layer so thin that it can only be designed for its function with regard to external shielding and water vapor permeability, while the fleece layer is also only to be designed for its desired storage volume.
The network practically takes on the supporting function of this combined roofing membrane.
