- the present invention relates to a device for fixing a chairlift or a gondola or any other similar machine to a cable, of the type comprising a fixing part on the cable extending along the cable and having a surface bearing on which rollers are caused to roll.
- Fixing devices of this type are currently already known. From patent FR-A-2276970, there is known a fixing device which comprises a fastener fixed to a cable and on which are provided rolling surfaces for rollers which extend in the direction of the cable and which has at their ends flat surfaces inclined towards the latter. Also known from US-A-3420189 is a fixing device, the fixing part of which on the cable comprises, at its ends, extensions and on which is provided a rolling surface for rollers, extending in the direction of the cable, these extensions being, in the direction of the cable, rounded and inclined in the direction of the latter. In these known fastening devices, each time a roller frees the fastener or the fixing part on the cable, there is a shock on the fastening device when the roller goes up on the rolling surface and a shock on the cable when the roller leaves this running surface.
