Description
- Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Etikettenband bestehend aus zwei miteinander fest verbundenen Schichten mit aufeinanderfolgenden, zum Anhängen an Warenartikeln bestimmten, Einzeletiketten, zwischen denen quer zur Bandlängsrichtung verlaufende Trennschnitte angebracht sind. Ein solches Etikettenband ist aus der US-A-3 947 983 bekannt.
- In Kaufhäusern, Supermärkten und dgl. ist es üblich, daß an den einzelnen Warenartikeln Etiketten angebracht sind, auf denen der Verkaufspreis aufgedruckt ist. Sehr häufig sind die Etiketten dabei unmittelbar auf den Warenartikel aufgeklebt, und es gibt für diesen Typ von Etiketten eigene Handetikettiergeräte, mit deren Hilfe das Etikett mit dem jeweiligen Preis bedruckt und dann auf den Warenartikel aufgeklebt werden kann. In diesen Handetikettiergeräten findet ein Etikettenband Anwendung, das aus einem kontinuierlichen Trägerband und aus darauf angebrachten Einzeletiketten besteht, zwischen denen jeweils Trennschnitte angebracht sind. Im Handetikettiergerät wird jeweils ein Etikett bedruckt und von einer Transportvorrichtung um eine Spendkante bezogen, an der es sich vom Trägerband ablöst, so daß es in eine Spendstellung unterhalb einer Andrückrolle gelangt. Durch Abrollen dieser Rolle auf dem Warenartikel kann das Etikett dann aufgeklebt werden. Diese Art von Etiketten eignet sich jedoch nur für Waren, an denen sie unmittelbar durch Ankleben befestigt werden können.
- Bei Textilien ist ein Anbringen von Preisetiketten durch Ankleben nicht möglich. Daher werden bei Textilien Anhängeetiketten verwendet, die üblicherweise aus Karton bestehen und mit Hilfe eines aus Kunststoff bestehenden Anhängeelements an Textilien angehängt werden. Das Anhängeelement besteht dabei aus einem Kunststoffstäbchen, das einen verdickten oder verbreiterten Kopf aufweist, an den sich ein schlanker Schaft anschließt, an dessen dem Kopf gegenüberliegenden Ende ein umklappbares Querstäbchen angebracht ist. Beim Anbringen dieser Karton-Etiketten wird das Querstäbchen in einer zum Schaft parallelen Länge durch ein Loch im Etikett und in das Gewebe des Textilartikels geschoben, worauf das Querstäbchen dann das Anhängeelement aufgrund einer Widerhakenwirkung am Textilartikel festhält. Der verbreiterte Kopf ist größer als das Loch im Karton-Etikett, so daß das Etikett sicher mit dem Textilartikel verbunden ist. Für diese Art von Etiketten werden eigene Druckgeräte benötigt, mit denen der Preisaufdruck auf dem Etikett angebracht werden kann. Dies bedeutet, daß in Warenhäusern je nach der Art mit Preisetiketten zu versehenen Waren verschiedenartige Etikettendruckgeräte vorhanden sein müssen.
- Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Etikettenband zu schaffen, das in dem bisher für das Bedrucken und Anbringen Selbstklebeetiketten verwendeten Handetikettiergeräten bedruckt werden kann und dessen Einzeletiketten an Textilien angehängt werden können.
- Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß das Band aus einer von einer Polyäthylenfolie gebildeten Trägerschicht und aus einer bedruckbaren Papierschicht besteht.
- Aus der US-A-3 657 043 ist die gleiche Materialkombination für einzelne Etiketten bekannt, dort werden diese jedoch aus einem Bogen herausgeslanzt. Die Polyäthylenfolie dient zum Wolben des Etiketts in bestimmte, vorgegebene Formen.
- Beim erfindungsgemäßen Etikettenband sind die Trägerschicht und die Papierschicht untrennbar miteinander verbunden, so daß sich die Papierschicht im Gerät nicht wie bei den bisher verwendeten, mit Selbstklebeetiketten versehenen Etikettenbändern von der Trägerschicht ablöst, sondern die Papierschicht und die Trägerschicht bleiben zusammen, was bedeutet, daß das Etikettenband im Handetikettiergerät nur bedruckt wird, worauf die bedruckten Etiketten nach dem Heraustreten des Etikettenbandes aus dem Gerät an den Trennschnitten voneinander getrennt und dann einzeln an Textilartikeln angebracht werden können. Die als Trägerschicht verwendete Polyäthylenfolie gibt dem Etikett die notwendige Festigkeit, damit das Band ohne abzureißen zum Bedrucken sicher durch das Handetikettiergerät transportiert werden kann. Andererseits läßt sie sich wegen des Anbringens der Trennschnitte von Hand ohne weiteres zum Ablösen bei Einzeletiketten durchreißen.
- In vorteilhafter Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, daß die Papierschicht aus Standard-OCR-Papier besteht. Die Klappenstanzung im Etikett ermöglicht das Hindurchstoßen eines Aufhängeelements der oben näher beschriebenen Art, mit dessen Hilfe das Etikett an Textilartikeln angehängt werden kann.
- Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird nun unter Bezugnahme auf die Zeichung näher erläutert. Es zeigen :
- Figur 1 einen Abschnitt des erfindungsgemäßen Etikettenbands und
- Figur 2 einen Schnitt durch das Etikettenband längs der Linie 11-11 von Fig. 1.
- Das in der Zeichnung dargestellte Etikettenband 1 enthält mehrere gleiche, hintereinander angeordnete Einzeletiketten 2, die durch Trennschnitte 3, die quer zur Bandlängsrichtung verlaufen, voneinander getrennt sind. Diese Trennschnitte ermöglichen es, die Einzeletiketten voneinander zu trennen, nachdem sie in einem herkömmlichen Handetikettiergerät bedruckt worden sind, und sie dienen gleichzeitig auch als Eingriffspunkte für die in einem solchen herkömmlichen Gerät zum Einsatz kommende Bandtransportvorrichtung. Ein Etikettiergerät, in dem das hier zu beschreibende Etikettenband verwendet werden kann, ist beispielsweise in der DE-OS-30 30 138 dargestellt und beschrieben.
- Nach Fig. 1 kann auf jedem Einzeletikett 2 ein Beschriftungsfeld 4 angebracht sein, in dem beispielsweise der Name des Warenhauses abgedruckt ist.
- Jedes Einzeletikett ist mit einer Klappenstanzung 5 versehen, die von einem bogenförmigen, nicht ganz geschlossenen Einschnitt gebildet ist. An der Klappenstanzung 5 kann ein Aufhängeelement durch das Einzeletikett hindurchgeschoben werden, mit dessen Hilfe das Etikett dann an einem Textilartikel angehängt werden kann.
- Der Schnitt von Fig. 2 zeigt den Aufbau des Etikettenbandes. Auf der Trägerschicht 6 aus einer Polyäthylenfolie ist in fester Verbindung eine Papierschicht 7 angebracht, die aus einem gut bedruckbaren Papier, beispielsweise aus einem OCR-Papier besteht. Als OCR-Papier wird ein Papier bezeichnet, dessen Oberfläche ein gutes Reflexionsvermögen hat und Druckfarbe gut aufnimmt ohne daß es zu einem Fließen der Farbe kommt. Diese Eigenschaften sind die Voraussetzung dafür, daß gedruckte Zeichen mit Hilfe optischer Lesevorrichtungen maschinell gelesen werden können. Ein solches OCR-Papier wird in den von der Firma Esselte Meto Deutschland GmbH, Hirschhorn, unter der Bezeichnung « OCR-Etiketten • angebotenen Selbstklebeetiketten verwendet. Das beschriebene Etikettenband ermöglicht die Verwendung der bisher zum Bedrucken und Anbringen von Selbstklebeetiketten verwendeten Handetikettiergeräte auch zum Bedrucken von Etiketten, die nicht durch Kleben sondern durch Anhängen an Warenartikeln angebracht werden können.
