Gepäckverschluß
15 Die Erfindung betrifft einen Gepäckverschluß mit eine
Schließhebel und einem durch einen Schlüssel drehbaren Zy¬ linder zum Verriegeln des Schließhebels in Schließstellung.
Bei bekannten Vorrichtungen dieser Art ist der Schließ- 20 hebel an einem Gleitstück angelenkt, das über eine Stange als Riegel wirkt. Diese Vorrichtung ist kompliziert und kostspielig.-
Es ist auch schon eine einfachere Vorrichtung bekannt, bei 25 ' er die Verriegelung direkt durch einen Exzenter am Zylin¬ der bewirkt wird, der mit einem Verschlußbeschlag zusammen¬ wirkt, und bei der der Schließhebel durch eine Feder in Öffnungsstellung gedrückt wird. Die mechanische Festigkeit einer solchen Vorrichtung ist unzureichend, insbesondere 30 wenn das Gepäck Verformungen unterworfen ist. Es stellte sich daher die Aufgabe, einen Verschluß der vor¬ stehend beschriebenen Art zur Verfügung zu stellen, der große Einfachheit mit hoher mechanischer Festigkeit verbin¬ det.
Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe bei einem Verschluß der eingangs genannten Art dadurch gelöst, daß der Zylinder einen Exzenter aufweist, der mit einem Zapfen an der Hal- terung des Schließhebels zusammenwirkt, und daß der Schließhebel einen Ansatz aufweist, der mit einer Öffnung in einem .Verschlußbeschlag- zusammenwirkt.
Bei der außerordentlich einfachen Vorrichtung gemäß der Erfindung werden die Verriegelung des Schließhebels und der Verschluß des Gepäckes durch zwei verschiedene Teile erreicht, wodurch die Widerstandsfähigkeit des Verschlus¬ ses, insbesondere bei einer Verformung des Gepäckes, er¬ höht wird.
An Hand der Zeichnungen wird die Erfindung näher erläutert. Es zeigen:
Fig. 1 : eine Seitenansicht, teilweise im Längs¬ schnitt, eines Ausführungsbeispiels des Verschlusses gemäß der Erfindung in Öff¬ nungsstellung;
Fig. 2: eine Schnittansicht längs der Linie A—A in Figur 1 ;
Fig. 3: eine Ansicht wie Figur 1 mit der Vorrich¬ tung in Schließstellung;
Fig. 4: eine Schnittansicht längs der Linie B—B in Figur 3; und Fig. 5: eine Draufsicht auf die in den Figuren 1 bis 4 dargestellte Vorrichtung beim Schließen über dem Verschlußbeschlag.
Die-Vorrichtung besteht aus einem Schließhebel 1 und einer Halterung 2. Der Schließhebel 1 trägt einen drehbaren Schloßzylinder 3, der durch einen (nicht dargestellten) codierten Schlüssel betätigt werden kann und der an der Halterung 2 durch einen Stift 4 angelenkt ist, der die Drehachse bildet.
An einem Ende enthält die Halterung 2 ein Gleitstück 5, das durch eine Feder 6 nach außen gedrückt wird. Das inne¬ re Ende des Zylinders 3 weist einen Exzenter 7 auf, der sich in Schließstellung des Hebels 1 beim Drehen des Zylin¬ ders 3 an einen passend geformten Zapfen 8 an der Halte¬ rung 2 anlegt. Der Schließhebel 1 ist mit einem Ansatz 9 versehen, der beim Schließen in eine Öffnung 16 eines Ver¬ schlußbeschlages 10 eindringt, der mit dem Deckel des Ge- päckstückes verbunden ist.
Das Gleitstück 5 wird im Innern durch eine Schräge 11 be¬ grenzt, die in Schließstellung mit der Kante 12 eines Aus¬ schnitts 13 des Schließhebels zusammenwirkt und dem Hebel 1 eine stabile Stellung verleiht. Das dem Ausschnitt 13 ge¬ genüberliegende Ende des Schließhebels 1 weist eine Ver¬ tiefung 14 auf, um dem Benutzer das Andrücken des Daumens zu erleichtern.
in Schließstellung wird das Entriegeln durch Drehen des Zylinders 3 vorgenommen, wodurch sich der Exzenter 7 von dem Zapfen 8 entfernt. Ein Druck auf die Vertiefung 14 be¬ wirkt eine Drehung des Schließhebels 1 , wobei die Schräge 11 des Gleitstücks 5 an der Kante 12 des Ausschnitts 13 entlang und gegen die Wirkung der Feder 6 nach innen- glei- tet. Am Ende der Drehung des Schließhebels 1 befindet sich das Gleitstück 5 außerhalb des Schließhebels 1 und legt sich an den Rand des Schließhebels 1 an, dessen Lage da¬ durch stabilisiert wird. Man beachte, daß die Achse 4 so angeordnet ist, daß die Schließkraft (ausgeübt durch Druck auf den Schließhebel im Bereich des Ausschnitts 13) viel kleiner als die ffnungskraft ist.

Claims

P a e n t a n s p r ü c h e
1. Gepäckverschluß mit einem Schließhebel, der einen durch einen Schlüssel drehbaren Schloßzylinder zum Verriegeln des SchlieBhebels in Schließstellung trägt, d ¬ d u r c h g e k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß der Zy¬ linder (3) einen Exzenter (7) aufweist, der mit einem Zapfen (8) an der Halterung (2) des Schließhebels (1) zusammenwirkt, und daß der Schließhebel (1) einen An¬ satz (9) aufweist, der mit einer Öffnung (16) in einem Verschlußbeschlag (10) zusammenwirkt.
2. Gepäckverschluß nach Anspruch 1, d a d u r c h g e - k e n n z e i c h n e t , daß die Halterung (2) ein durch eine Feder (6) nach außen gedrücktes Gleitstück (5) enthält und daß der Schließhebel (1) einen Aus¬ schnitt (13. aufweist, der sich in Schließstellung des Schließhebels (1) in Flucht mit dem der Feder (6) ge- genüberliegenden Ende (11) des Gleitstücks (5) befindet.
