Poignée de porte à palette, comprenant une palette pivotante (8) entièrement contenue et articulée avec rappel par ressort (19) derrière un cache plein (5) recouvrant horizontalement la partie supérieure d'un logement d'accès embouti (4) dans la tôle de la carrosserie et un bras de commande (9) de la serrure solidaire de la palette, caractérisée en ce que l'articulation (15) de la palette portée par le cache (5) est située à proximité des bords supérieurs (6) du cache et du logement d'accès de manière qu'au cours de sa traction vers l'extérieur la palette (8) soit rapprochée du bord inférieur (17) du cache par un pivotement de faible amplitude par rapport à la verticale à l'axe d'articulation (15). Application notamment aux véhicules automobiles.

Description

  • La présente invention se rapporte à une poignée de porte à palette notamment pour véhicule automobile.
  • Une poignée de ce type est déjà décrite dans le brevet français N° 2.116.736 déposée par le présent demandeur et comprend une palette articulée derrière un cache faisant très peu saillie à l'extérieur de la carrosserie et recouvrant partiellement la partie supérieure d'un logement d'accès embouti dans la tôle de la carrosserie. La palette est articulée à proximité du bord inférieur du cache, sans être visible de l'extérieur, et s'étend entre ladite articulation et le fond du logement. Le déclenchement de la serrure est alors obtenu en introduisant les doigts, paume de la main orientée vers le haut, Sans le creux d'accès formé par l'embouti et en recroquevillant l'extrémité des doigts pour faire pivoter la palette de bas en haut. Après quoi, la traction provoque l'ouverture de la porte.
  • Mais ce type de palette oblige à une pénétration importante des doigts derrière le cache et à une manipulation en deux temps et dans deux sens différents, l'un de pivotement de la palette pour la commande de la serrure, l'autre de traction transversale pour l'ouverture de la porte.
  • Afin de faciliter la manipulation, il était nécessaire d'éloigner le plus possible du point d'application de l'effort, l'articulation de la palette pour augmenter la longueur du bras de levier, solution proposée postérieurement dans le brevet français N° 2.355.977 déposé également par le présent demandeur.
  • Les articulations de la palette sont alors déportées vers le bas, au niveau inférieur du logement d'accès, au moyen de bras de leviers reliés à la palette. Mais la fabrication de la poignée est plus compliquée et plus onéreuse et, bien que la manipulation soit adoucie, la décomposition du mouvement reste sensiblement la même que dans la première solution parce que l'articulation de la palette reste en dessous de la palette elle-même. De plus, l'encombrement de la poignée nécessite le découpage de la moitié supérieure du logement d'accès.
  • D'autres solutions connues ont reporté l'articulation au dessus de la palette et du cache mais en conservant un déport important et des bras de leviers encombrants.
  • Le but de la présente invention est d'éviter les inconvénients précédents en proposant une poignée à palette compacte, de fabrication simple et peu coûteuse, facile à monter et dont la manipulation permet d'enchaîner dans un mouvement continu et naturel de la main, le déclenchement de la serrure et l'ouverture de la porte.
  • A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet une poignée de porte à palette comprenant une palette entièrement contenue et articulée avec rappel par ressort derrière un cache plein recouvrant horizontalement la partie supérieure d'un logement d'accès embouti dans la tôle de la carrosserie et un bras de commande de la serrure solidaire perpendiculairement de la palette, caractérisée essentiellement en ce que l'articulation de la palette portée par le cache est située à proximité des bords supérieurs du cache et du logement d'accès de manière qu'au cours de sa traction vers l'extérieur la palette soit rapprochée du bord inférieur du cache par un pivotement de faible amplitude par rapport à la verticale à l'axe d'articulation.
  • De préférence, l'ensemble est fabriqué en matière synthétique moulée. C'est ainsi que les paliers des articulations de la palette peuvent venir directement de moulage avec cette dernière afin de la clipser rapidement au montage sur les axes correspondants venant de moulage avec le cache.
  • Selon une variante avantageuse, la façade du cache comporte sur un côté une ouverture éclairée par une source et un diffusseur de lumière intégrés au cache pour repérer une entrée de clef de serrure montée derrière le cache.
  • D'autres caractéristiques sont mentionnées dans la description qui suit d'une réalisation de l'invention donnée à titre d'exemple, en référence au dessin annexé sur lequel :
    • - la figure 1 est une vue de dessous de la poignée à palette selon l'invention,
    • - la figure 2 est une vue en élévation, prise de l'extérieur de la carrosserie,
    • - les figures 3 et 4 illustrent le fonctionnement de la poignée vue en coupe selon la ligne III de la figure 2,
    • - les figures 5 et 6 montrent vues de face et de dessus, une extrémité du cache équipée d'une entrée de clef de serrure éclairée.
  • La poignée extérieure de porte représentée au dessin est rapportée, par exemple par un assemblage vis 1 - écrous 2, sur la paroi extérieure 3 d'un caisson de porte formant à l'endroit de la poignée une cavité ou logement 4 embouti, pour l'accès des doigts de l'utilisateur en vue de la manipulation de la poignée.
  • Un cache plein 5, de préférence en matière synthétique moulée, s'étend horizontalement sur toute la longueur du logement 4 et le recouvre à peu près sur la moitié supérieure de sa hauteur (figure 3) de manière à laisser apparaître l'embouti sur la moitié inférieure de sa hauteur. Autrement dit, le bord supérieur 6 du cache coïncide à peu près avec le bord supérieur du logement 4.
  • La poignée comprend, outre le cache 5, éventuellement recouvert d'un enjoliveur 7, une palette pivotante 8 articulée derrière le cache et solidaire d'un bras 9 ou levier s'étendant à peu près perpendiculairement à la palette à travers une petite lumière 10 pratiquée dans la partie supérieure de l'embouti 4 et prévu pour commander la serrure de façon connue par une tringlerie 11 de renvoi de mouvement.
  • Cette lumière, située à la hauteur de l'articulation de la palette permet et limite le débattement du bras de commande 9 entre les bords supérieur 12 et inférieur 13 de ladite lumière.
  • Le cache est renforcé par deux ailes 14 perpendiculaires à la façade plane et en forme de secteurs épousant le profil du logement d'accès 4 de manière à compartimenter le logement verticalement et à délimiter la longueur de la palette 8 qui pivote donc entre les deux ailes du cache.
  • Conformément à la caractéristique principale de l'invention, la palette 8 est articulée à proximité des bords supérieurs 6 du cache et du logement d'accès, autour de deux axes d'articulation 15 portés par le cache de manière qu'au cours de sa manipulation le bord inférieur libre 16 de la palette soit rapproché du bord inférieur 17 du cache par un pivotement de faible amplitude par rapport à la verticale à l'axe d'articulation 15 (figures 3 et 4).
  • Pour donner une sensation agréable aux doigts de l'utilisateur, la face plane de la palette est recourbée à sa base 16 et sur toute sa longueur de manière à envelopper et à venir en appui sous le bord inférieur 17 du cache, après pivotement.
  • Comme pour le cache, le bras de commande 9 et la palette 8 peuvent être fabriqués d'une seule pièce de préférence en matière synthétique moulée, ce qui permet la conformation intégrée de deux paliers supérieurs ouverts 18 en vue de leur clipsage élastique rapide sur les axes d'articulation 15 correspondants faisant partie intégrante du cache 5.
  • Par ailleurs, un ressort de torsion 19 tendant à écarter au repos la palette du cache comporte un brin rectiligne 20 s'étendant sur l'axe, entre les deux articulations de la palette et deux extrémités recourbées perpendiculairement au brin rectiligne mais dans deux directions différentes, l'une des extrémités 21 venant en appui contre la face extérieure du cache 5 et l'autre extrémité 22 contre la face en regard de la palette 8.
  • La comparaison des figures 3 et 4 montre le pivotement de la palette 8 et du bras de commande 9 associé, venant en butée contre le bord 13 de la lumière du logement d'accès.
  • Comme on peut l'imaginer, il suffit d'introduire les doigts, paume relevée dans le creux d'accès prévu à cet effet et dans un geste naturel,compte tenu de la position par rapport au sol de la poignée de porte du véhicule.
  • Le déclenchement de la serrure et l'ouverture de la porte sont provoqués successivement par le même geste de traction à soi de la palette 8, venant en appui sous le bord inférieur 17 du cache, le débattement angulaire de la palette étant très faible.
  • Les figures 5 et 6 illustrent, en variante, une poignée de porte à palette conforme à l'invention mais dont le cache 5 comporte, sur le côté, une ouverture 23 éclairée par une source 25 et un diffuseur de lumière 24 entourant l'ouverture pour repérer une entrée de clef 26 de serrure 27 montée derrière le cache.

Claims (6)

1- Poignée de porte à palette, notamment pour véhicule automobile, comprenant une palette (8) pivotante entièrement contenue et articulée avec rappel par ressort (19) derrière un cache plein (5) recouvrant horizontalement la partie supérieure d'un logement d'accès embouti (4) dans la tôle (3) de la carrosserie et un bras (9) de commande de la serrure solidaire de la palette, caractérisée en ce que l'articulation (15) de la palette portée par le cache (5) est située à proximité des bords supérieurs (6) du cache et du logement d'accès de manière qu'au cours de sa traction vers l'extérieur la palette (8) soit rapprochée du bord inférieur (17) du cache par un pivotement de faible amplitude par rapport à la verticale à l'axe d'articulation (15).
2- Poignée selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le cache (5) comporte deux ailes (14) en forme de secteurs perpendiculaires à la façade, venant compartimenter le logement d'accès (4) et entre lesquelles pivote la palette (8).
3r Poignée selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la palette (8) comporte une face plane recourbée à sa base (16) et sur toute sa longueur vers le cache (5) et deux paliers supérieurs (18) distants et ouverts pour leur clipsage élastique sur les axes d'articulation (15) correspondants faisant partie intégrante du cache.
4- Poigneé selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le ressort de rappel (19) comporte un brin rectiligne (20) s'étendant sur l'axe, entre les deux articulations (15) de la palette, et deux extrémités recourbées (21, 22) en appui entre le cache (5) et la palette (8) afin de les écarter l'un de l'autre au repos.
5- Poignée selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que le logement d'accès (4) comporte, à proximité de l'articulation (15) de la palette, une lumière (10) permettant et limitant le débattement du bras de commande (9) de la serrure à travers le logement d'accès.
6- Poignée selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que la façade du cache (5) comporte sur un côté une ouverture (23) éclairée par une source (25) et un diffuseur de lumière (24) entourant l'ouverture pour repérer une entrée de clef (26) de serrure montée derrière le cache.
