Abstract

Un proceso catalítico para la preparación de compuestos ópticamente activos y su conversión posteriormente hasta las sustancias de fármaco deseadas. En particular, el proceso se refiere a la preparación del (S)-3-(1-dimetil-amino-etil)-fenol utilizando reducción catalítica asimétrica e hidrogenación de transferencia, proporcionando de esta manera una mejor ruta para la formación de sustancias de fármaco, tales como rivastigmina y tartrato ácido de rivastigmina.
