Abstract

Настоящее изобретение направлено на жидкокристаллический дисплей, содержащий матрицу дисплея, включающую жидкокристаллический материал и интерференционный слой для создания оптической разности хода, указанный интерференционный слой для создания оптической разности хода включает предпочтительно слой слабо поперечно сшитого материала с высокой молекулярной массой и подложку, где материал с высокой молекулярной массой находится в нематической фазе выше его Tи имеет динамическую вязкость при рабочей температуре по меньшей мере 100 Па∙с, и разница Tматериала с высокой молекулярной массой и Tматериала с низкой молекулярной массой матрицы дисплея (TC) находится в пределах от -30 до +30°С, предпочтительно в пределах от -20 до +20°С, и более предпочтительно в пределах от -10 до +10°С; и Tжидкокристаллического материала с высокой молекулярной массой является меньшей чем 50°С. Обнаружено, что при использовании материала с высокой молекулярной массой и с T, сравнимой с такой же температурой, предпочтительно, жидкокристаллического материала с низкой молекулярной массой активной матрицы, температурная зависимость значения оптической разности хода интерференционного слоя для создания оптической разности хода сравнима со значением этого параметра у активной матрицы. Таким образом, значение оптической разности хода интерференционного слоя для создания оптической разности хода сравнимо с таким значением для активной матрицы в диапазоне температур, в котором используются дисплеи.
