Bei den bekannten Kabinengabelstaplern werden zum Reinigen der Frontscheibe Parallelwischeranlagen verwendet, die aus einem kombinierten Parallelwischermotor mit Getriebe bestehen, der in einem Kunststoffgehäuse untergebracht ist. Dieses Gehäuse wird meistens im Kopfbereich des Fahrers angeordnet und beeinträchtigt hierbei die Sicht und führt weiterhin zu einer erhöhten Unfallgefahr. Durch die sperrige Form ist es schwierig, einen geeigneten Platz zu finden. Davon getrennt ist die Heizung angebracht und wird zum Belüften des Innenraumes oder der Frontscheibe mit Warmluft für den Kabineninsassen zugänglich montiert. Die Frontscheibe wird hierbei mittels einer entsprechenden Düse angeströmt. Eine ausreichende Belüftung der Frontscheibe zum Verhindern des Beschlagens ist hierbei nicht gegeben.The well-known cabin forklifts use parallel wiper systems to clean the windshield.
