Verfahren zur Herstellung von Isolierrohren nach den Ansprüchen i und a unter Anwendung des an sich bekannten Strangpreßverfahrens, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß flüssig gemachtes Steinkohlenteerpech mit Füllstoffen geeigneter Menge zu einer formbaren Masse vermischt und anschließend im Strang verpreßt wird und daß das so entstandene Rohr erforderlichenfalls abgekühlt und dann mit Blech ummantelt wird.
