Abstract

A revolving door, in particular for protecting the access to a room, comprises a revolving shaft (2), a plurality of door wings (3) attached to the shaft (2) and spaced around it, a pair of opposite panels (4) bordering the door wings (3) and forming a partially closed zone with a first (6) and a second opening (7), a drive motor (9) for the shaft (2) and a control unit (10) for the drive motor (9). Description

Solche Drehtüren sind in verschiedenen Ausführungsformen bekannt. Beispielsweise offenbart die US-A-4 341 165 eine solche Drehtür. Bezugnehmend auf die fig. 1 und 2 ist eine Drehtür 1 zum Schutz des Zuganges zu einem Raum dargestellt, wobei die Drehtür 1 eine Drehachse 2 und vier Türflügel 3 aufweist, die an der Drehachse 2 angebracht und gleichmäpig räumlich getrennt um die Drehachse herum angeordnet sind. Des weiteren weist die Drehtür 1 zwei sich gegenüberstehende Platten 4 auf, welche die Türflügel 3 begrenzen und eine teilweise geschlossene, in dem vorliegenden Fall kreissegmentförmige, Zone 5 mit einer ersten Öffnung 6 und einer zweiten Öffnung 7 bilden. Über den Türflügeln 3 ist ein Hohlraum vorgesehen, der von einer Abdeckung 8 abgedeckt wird, in welcher ein Antriebsmotor 9 für die Welle 2 und die Regelungseinheit 10 auf bekannte Art und Weise angeordnet sind.
