Die Wirkungsweise ist folgende:
Vor Benutzung der Anschlußvorrichtung ist die Lage der Teile so, wie in Abb. 1 und 2 dargestellt. Der Schlüssel 4 steckt verriegelt im Schloß 3, so daß er weder gedreht noch herausgezogen werden kann. Diese Verriegelung geschieht durch den Anschlag der Zunge S gegen die Platte 6, und die Verhinderung des Drehens und Herausziehens des Schlüssels -wird bewirkt durch die an sich bekannte Konstruktion des Schlosses 3, die hier nicht weiter dargestellt ist. Soll nun ein Fahrrad oder anderer Gegenstand angeschlossen werden, so muß zunächst ein Zehnpfennigstück eingeworfen werden (eine kleinere Münze rutscht glatt durch). Das Zehnpfennigstück gelangt vorerst bis an den Anschlagstift 9 'und verdeckt an dieser Stelle eine in der Münzführung 7 vorgesehene Aussparung, welche die Form eines Langloches hat. Jetzt wird das Kettenendglied 8 durch einen in der Deckelkappe 2 vorgesehenen schmalen Schlitz hindurchgesteckt und gegen die Münze gedrückt, wodurch die Münzführung 7 und Platte 6 gegen den Druck der Federn 11 in Pfeilrichtung (Abb. 2) so weit verschoben wird, daß die Platte 6 die Zunge 5 freigibt. Nun kann der Schlüssel 4 um etwa 90° gedreht werden, wodurch die Zunge 5 in Pfeilrichtung (Abb. 1) um denselben Winkel verdreht wird. Der Schließhaben 10 wird dadurch gegen den Druck der Feder 12 nach unten gedrückt und verriegelt das leingedrückte Kettenendglied 8 (Abb. 3 und 4). Der Anschlagstift 9 kommt durch das Zurückdrücken der Münzführung 7 außer Eingriff mit der Münze, so daß diese infolgedessen weiter bis an die Gehäusewand (Abb. 4) rutscht. Der Schlüssel 4 kann in dieser Stellung, aber auch nur in dieser, herausgezogen Werden, und das Fahrrad o. dgl. ist angeschlossen. Die Freigabe erfolgt dadurch, daß man den Schlüsse^ wieder in das Schloß 3 hineinsteckt 'und um 90⁰ zurückdreht. Der Schließhaken 10 wird durch die Feder 12 wieder nach oben gedrückt und gibt das Kettenendglied 8 frei. Gleichzeitig wird die Münzführung 7 mit Platte 6 durch den Druck der Federn 11 wieder in die Ausgangsstellung gebracht, so daß das Geldstück nunmehr in die Austrittsöffnung gelangt und gegen den schwachen Druck der Feder 13 wieder entnommen werden kann. Ein neuer Anschluß kann darauf erfolgen. Das Geldstück stellt also nur eine Art Pfand für die Mitnahme des Schlüssels 4 dar und wird automatisch zurückerstattet, nachdem der Schlüssel wieder arretiert ist.The mode of action is as follows:
