Description

Zündkerze für Explosionskraftmaschinen. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Zündkerzen und insbesondere auf diejenige Art, bei der ein Zündbahn an der Seite der Kerze angebracht ist, von dem ein Kanal zum Innern der Kerze führt. Die Eigenart der Erfindung liegt in einer derartigen gegenseitigen Anordnung der Zündeinrichtung, ihres Kanals und der Elektroden der Zündkerze, daß ein Reinigungswerkzeug durch den Zündungskanal eingeführt werden kann, um die Elektroden zu reinigen.Spark plug for explosion engines. Das Gehäuse besitzt ferner einen im wesentlichen sechseckigen oberen Teil, der einen Mutterteil 1z bildet, dessen Seitenflächen zur Aufnahme eines Schraubenschlüssels für die Anbringung und Entfernung der Zündkerze an einem Motor geeignet sind. Die Zündkerze ist jedoch mit einer seitlichen Verbreiterung an der einen Seite versehen, deren Länge der Breite einer Seitenfläche 13 entspricht und die Stelle einer solchen Seitenfläche einnimmt. Die Verbreiterung ist an ihrer äußeren Fläche 15 derart abgeflacht, daß sie eine zu der Fläche 13 an der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Kerze parallele Fläche bildet, so d'aß ein Schraubenschlüssel mit seiner einen Backe gegen die Verbreiterung und mit seiner anderen Backe gegen die gegenüberliegende Fläche 13 in Be- rührung gebracht werden kann. In dem Ge- häuse ist in üblicher Art ein Porzellanstift 1; angeordnet, der eine isolierte Elektrode 18 trägt, welche vorzugsweise ' ", Zoll Durch- inesser l:esitzt, und deren Ende wie darge- stellt zugeschärft ist und in der Nähe der Ebene aufhört, die (Lis untere Ende des Ge- häuses 1:egretizt.
