Stahlzylinder mit aufgesetztem Aluminiumrippenmantel für innere Verbrennungsmaschinen. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Stahlzylinder mit aufgesetztem Aluminiumnppenmantel für innere Verbrennungsmaschinen und besieht darin, daß der Aluminiumrippenmantal als Vollmantel aufgesehr umpft worden ist, in welchen nachträglich die Rippen eingearbeitet sind. Auf diese Weise wird die Herstellung der Rippen vereinfacht und verbilligt und die Möglichkeit gegeben, einen Aluminiumzylinder von großer Festigkeit aufzuschrumpfen, der beim Abkühlen dem Springen weniger ausgesetzt ist, als in dem Fall, im welchem anstatt des Vollmantels ein Rippenmantel aufgeschrumpft wird.Steel cylinder with attached aluminum rib jacket for internal combustion engines.
