Bootsdavit. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf solche Davits für Rettungsboote, die um eine geneigte Achse ausschwingen können, damit das Boot selbst bei starker Neigung des Schiffes oder bei hohem Seegang ausgesetzt werden kann. Gemäß der Erfindung erfolgt nun Ausbildung und Anor dnung des Bootsdavits derart, daß der Dollbord des ausgeschwungenen Bootes etwa in Deckhöhe liegt, wobei zum Festsetzen und zum Drehen des Davits ein gegabeltes Seil zur Anwendung kommt, dessen Enden mit einer die Enden des Davits in bekannter Weise verbindenden Stange verbunden sind, und an dem zwei Flaschenzüge angreifen, die in einem gewissen Abstande voneinander an auf dem Schiffdeck parallel zu der erwähnten Stange angeordneten Ständern befestigt sind.
