Es sind bereits Geschwindigkeitsregler für Motorfahrzeuge bekannt, bei denen beim Überschreiten der Höchstgeschwindigkeit des Fahrzeuges der Zündstromkreis des Explosionsmotors oder auch der Kraftstrom der elektrischen Kraftquelle bei Elektromobilen unterbrochen und ein Stromkreis für eine Signalvorrichtung geschlossen wird. Wird die Geschwindigkeit des Fahrzeuges größer als die eingestellte, so* geht das Kontaktstück y über die bewegliche Fläche hinaus; dabei wird diese durch die Feder μ mit der Nase x. gegen die Signalkontaktfläche m1 gedrückt, wodurch die Signalgebung eingeschaltet und die Zündleitung unterbrochen wird.
