Die Erfindung betrifft eine doppeltwirkende Stoßfangvorrichtung, bei der sich ein Kolben in einem geschlossenen, mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Zylinder hin und her bewegt. Derartige Stoßfangvorrichtungen sind bereits bekannt. Die Kolben dieser Vorrichtungen haben einen zylindrischen Umfang und besitzen daher den Nachteil, sich leicht zu ecken. Auch kommt es oft vor, daß bei eingetretener Abnutzung in der Kolbenstangenführuhg die Stange sich in bezug auf den Kolben schräg stellt. Andererseits muß die Kolbenstange einen verhältnismäßig geringen Durchmesser aufweisen, weil sonst durch die in den Zylinder eintretende Kolbenstange eine zu große Flüssigkeitsmenge verdrängt wird, und demzufolge der Zylinder nur zum Teil mit Flüssigkeit angefüllt sein darf, was die Wirkungsweise beeinträchtigt. Eine schwache Kolbenstange kann aber unter Einwirkung von heftigen Stößen und unter Einfluß übermäßiger Beanspruchung leicht durchgebogen werden. Ebenso kann auch aus anderen Gründen der Kolben sich schräg stellen. So kann z. B. bei den verschiedenen Neigungen, die der Wagen auf der Fahrt annimmt, der Parallelismus zwischen Flüssigkeitsspiegel und Kolben gestört werden, so daß letzterer unsymmetrisch beansprucht und so die Stange von geringem Durchmesser durchgebogen werden kann.The invention relates to a double-acting bumper device in which a piston moved back and forth in a closed cylinder filled with liquid.
