Description

DEUTSCHESGERMAN

According to patent 938 724 textiles made of synthetic polyamides by treatment with aqueous alcoholic emulsions of mixed polyamides and made at least soluble in hot water polyester absorbent. It has now been found that, unexpectedly, the same effect can also be achieved with emulsions of polyamides instead of those from the more easily soluble mixed polyamides can be achieved.

It is known that the polyamides dissolve in alcoholic acids Calcium chloride solutions, in phenol, in saturated chloral hydrate solutions, in acids such as formic acid, Acetic acid and others Such solutions can easily be used for the purpose according to the invention, if one admits polyester and from the solutions thus obtained by pouring into water prepares an emulsion and treats the textiles with it.

Textile auxiliaries such as softeners, antistatic agents and possibly others can be added to the water Emulsifiers or dyes and the like may be added. The emulsified phase is absorbed onto the textiles. These are spun after about 1/2 to 1 hour, optionally after rinsing, and at temperatures suitably dried over 100 ° C.

An advantage of the invention is that waste from the production of polyamide goods can be used.

Beispiel 1example 1

100 ecm einer konzentrierten methanolischen Chlorcalciumlösung, die 3% Polycaprolactam und 6% Polybernsteinsäureglykolester enthält, wird in 10 1 Wasser, in dem 50 g eines sulfonierten Fettes als Weichmacher aufgelöst sind, vorsichtig eingerührt und mit der hierbei entstehenden Emulsion 300 g Charmeusegewirk — hergestellt aus synthetischen Polyamidfäden — V2 bis 1 Stunde lang behandelt.100 ecm of a concentrated methanolic calcium chloride solution, which contains 3% polycaprolactam and 6% polysuccinic acid glycol ester, is in 10 1 Carefully stir in water in which 50 g of a sulfonated fat has been dissolved as a plasticizer and with the resulting emulsion 300 g charmeuse knitted fabric - made from synthetic Polyamide threads - V2 treated for up to 1 hour.

The knitted fabric is then rinsed, spun and dried over 100 ° C. It is hydrophilic and absorbent.

Beispiel 2Example 2

Mit der entstandenen Emulsion werden Polyamidtextilien wie im Beispiel 1 behandelt.6 g of polysuccinic acid glycol ester are added to a solution of 3 g of polyamide in 100 ecm of formic acid mixed and carefully stirred the solution into 10 l of water. With the resulting emulsion polyamide textiles are treated as in Example 1.
