Abstract

一种电连接器包括一本体及容置于该本体中的若干个端子,每个端子包括有一个插置于该本体内的固持部、一接触部以及一连接在该固持部与接触部间的弹性部。当该电连接器连接第一电子设备与第二电子设备时,端子上的弹性部产生弹性变形并提供弹力给接触部,因此,该接触部能够以较小摩擦力与第二电子设备接触。

【技术领域】
本实用新型是关于一种连接器,尤指一种能够降低端子摩擦力的LGA连接器。
【背景技术】
电连接器广泛用于电子设备中,以便互连不同的电子设备。现有的电连接器,其包括若干个用以连接附属连接器或供装配在电子设备上的端子,及一用以收容该若干个端子的绝缘本体。如今,电信号传输朝着高速度、高频率方向发展,因此,在端子与其接触部件之间需要有可靠地连接。
如图3所示为现有LGA电连接器的一种端子3,该端子3包括一接触部5,是与电子设备的垫片相接触,一焊接部7,是焊接于印刷电路板(PCB)上,一连接部9,是连接于该接触部5与该焊接部7之间。
但是,当端子3与垫片相接触时,端子3受力使接触部5会在连接部9与接触部5间的接触点产生旋转。因此,接触部5与垫片间的摩擦使它不能够与垫片稳定接触,进而影响接触部5与垫片间的接触效果。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种能够降低端子摩擦力的电连接器,用以与一附属设备进行可靠地连接。
本实用新型的目的是这样来实现的:电连接器包括一本体及若干容置于该本体中的若干个端子,每个端子包括有一个插置于该本体内的固持部,一接触部,以及一连接在该固持部与接触部间的弹性部。当该电连接器连接第一电子设备与第二电子设备时,端子上的弹性部产生弹性变形并提供弹力给接触部,因此,该接触部能够以较小摩擦力与第二电子设备接触。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型更能够降低端子摩擦力,增强端子间的接触效果。

【具体实施方式】
参阅图1与图2,本实用新型电连接器4是一种LGA连接器,其可电性连接一第一电子设备12及第二电子设备16,包括一绝缘本体8及若干个端子2,该端子2包括一固持部6,该固持部6是插设于连接器4的绝缘本体8的一通道(未标号)中,一从固持部6延伸的焊接部10,是与第一电子设备12相焊接,一接触部14,是与第二电子设备16相接触,及一弹性部18,是连接在接触部14与固持部6之间。相对的第一固持臂20及第二固持臂21,是自固持部6的两边水平延伸出来且大体上垂直于固持部6,焊接部10具有一水平延伸的矩形板22,接触部14大体上成弓形且位于该端子2的末端,相对于该接触部14,该矩形板22是位于该端子2的另一末端。
弹性部18包括一过渡区24,该过渡区24是面向第一固持臂20从固持部6向上延伸。一第一U型区26是自过渡部24向上延伸且大体上与第一固持臂20在共面。一第一连接区28是自第一U型部26水平延伸且大体上与过渡区24共面。一第二U型区30是自第一连接区28延伸且大体上与第二固持臂21共面。一第二连接区32是自第二U型区30水平延伸且大体上与过渡区24共面。一第三U型区34是自第二连接区32延伸且大体上与第一固持臂20共面。一自由区36是自第三U型区34水平延伸且大体上与过渡区24在共面。该接触部14是自第三U型区34延伸并相邻于第三U型区34与自由区36间的连接处。基于此等结构,该弹性部18具有足够的弹力,从而确保了该端子2与第一电子设备12及第二电子设备16相接触。
当该连接器4连接第一电子设备12和第二电子设备16时,该端子2的焊接部10是焊接在第一电子设备12上,由于该弹性部18比接触部14容易产生弹性变形,故端子2的接触部14与第二电子设备16相接触时产生很小的变形,弹性部18提供弹力以确保接触部14与第二电子设备16间的稳定接触。因此,该接触部14具有相对于第二电子设备16低的或小的摩擦力来确保连接器4与第二电子设备16之间的可靠连接。

Claims (8)

1.一种电连接器,是用来电性连接第一电子设备和与第二电子设备,其主要包括一绝缘本体及若干端子,该绝缘本体内设有若干通道,该每一通道的横截面大体上成矩形;该若干端子分别收容于该绝缘本体相应的通道中,其特征在于:每一端子包括一插置于该绝缘本体中的固持部,一自该固持部延伸并与第一电子设备相焊接的焊接部,一接触部及一连接在该固持部与该接触部间的弹性部,该弹性部包括若干形成于固持部的两相对侧面上的U型区,一延伸于一U型区和该固持部间的过渡区及若干连接区,而每一连接区是延伸于两U型区的间且大体上垂直于该U型区。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该固持部位于该焊接部的上方及弹性部的下方。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该弹性部位于该固持部的上方及接触部的下方。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该固持部的两侧水平延伸出相对的第一和第二固持臂,该第一和第二固持臂从大体上垂直于该固持部。
5.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该等连接区与该固持部大体共面。
6.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该过渡区大体上垂直于该U型区且与该固持部大体共面。
7.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:一自由区从另一U型区延伸且大体上垂直于该U型区,其中,该自由部与该固持部和连接部大体共面。
8.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该接触部从该另一U型区延伸且相邻近于该U型区和自由部的连接处。
