Abstract

【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器,尤其涉及一种用于连接柔性印刷电路板的电连接器。
【背景技术】
如日本专利申请公开第2006-100165号揭示了一种连接有柔性印刷电路板的电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、固持于绝缘本体中的端子、可转动地安装于绝缘本体上的操作件及安装于绝缘本体两端的抓板件。所述绝缘本体设有供操作件安装的凹口及位于凹口底侧的第一侧壁,所述第一侧壁设有向端子侧延伸的突部,所述柔性印刷电路板设有与该突部相配合的凸块,当柔性印刷电路板插入该电连接器后,所述电连接器上的突部挡住柔性印刷电路板上的凸块,以防止柔性印刷电路板沿与插入方向相反的方向脱落,由于操作件设置于柔性印刷电路板的上方,用于防止柔性印刷电路板向上移动,然而,如果该电连接器不设操作件或由于操作件定位不准确而产生晃动时,柔性印刷电路板可能会向上移动或自绝缘本体上脱离,可能无法良好地与端子电性接触,影响两者电性传输。另外,若是柔性印刷电路板受外力向上提起时,易将操作件转于开位置,影响电性传输。
因此,有必要设计一种可克服上述缺陷的电连接器。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型所要解决的技术问题在于提供一种可稳定接触柔性印刷电路板的电连接器。
为解决上述问题,本实用新型采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,用于连接柔性印刷电路板,该电连接器包括绝缘本体及固持于绝缘本体上的数个端子,所述绝缘本体设有对接面及自对接面凹设的收容空间,所述端子具有凸伸入收容空间中的接触部,绝缘本体的至少一端具有向收容空间内延伸的凸块,该凸块设有与收容空间相通且收容柔性印刷电路板的槽道。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型具有如下有益效果:在绝缘本体的至少一端具有向收容空间内延伸的凸块,该凸块设有与收容空间相通的槽道,当柔性印刷电路板插入电连接器后,柔性印刷电路板收容于槽道内,从而使电连接器可稳定接触柔性印刷电路板。

【具体实施方式】
下面结合附图来详细说明本实用新型电连接器的具体实施方式。
请参阅图1及图2所示,本实用新型电连接器用于连接柔性印刷电路板4,所述电连接器包括绝缘本体1、插置于绝缘本体1内的数个端子2及卡持在绝缘本体1两端的一对抓板件3。
请参阅图3所示,所述绝缘本体1具有第一侧壁10、第二侧壁11及连接第一侧壁10、第二侧壁11两端的两端壁12,所述第一侧壁10与第二侧壁11上均设有收容端子2的端子收容槽13,所述两端壁12与第一侧壁10形成一供柔性印刷电路板4插置的凹口14,所述第一侧壁10与第二侧壁11之间形成与凹口14相连通的容纳空间15,柔性印刷电路板4自凹口14倾斜插入并进入容纳空间15内,且所述凹口14及容纳空间15共同形成收容柔性印刷电路板4的收容空间。所述绝缘本体1的两端设有收容并固持抓板件3的固持槽16。
所述绝缘本体1具有对接面17,上述收容空间是自该对接面17凹设而成。所述绝缘本体1的两端具有向收容空间凸伸的凸块18,该凸块18与端壁12、第一侧壁10一体相连且自对接面17延伸,并位于绝缘本体1靠近对接面17的一侧,当柔性印刷电路板插入后,柔性印刷电路板卡持于槽道182内,以防止柔性印刷电路板4脱落。即在本实施方式中,每一凸块18的上侧(即靠近第二侧壁11的一侧)向收容空间内凸伸有与柔性印刷电路板4的插入方向相平行的第一止挡部181,且该第一止挡部181与第一侧壁11之间具有槽道182,所述柔性印刷电路板4收容于该槽道182内,第一止挡部181位于柔性印刷电路板4上方,可防止柔性印刷电路板4垂直于插入方向向上脱离,另外,该槽道182与对接面17之间的凸块形成第二止挡部183,用于防止柔性印刷电路板4沿插入方向的反向退出收容空间,从而第一、第二止挡部181、183可分别限制柔性印刷电路板4在垂直于插入方向、平行插入方向上的晃动,有利于柔性印刷电路板4与收容空间内的端子的稳定电性接触。
请参阅图3及图4所示,每一端子2包括本体部20、自本体部20延伸的第一支臂21及与第一支臂21同向延伸的第二支臂22,所述本体部20设有向下延伸的第一定位部200及向上延伸的第二定位部201,所述端子2设有自第一定位部200向绝缘本体1外延伸的焊接部202。所述第一支臂21的头部设有第一接触部210,所述第二支臂22的头部设有与第一接触部210相对设置的第二接触部220。
请参阅图3所示,所述抓板件3设有主体部30、自主体部30两端延伸的第一固持部31、第二固持部32及自主体部30下方向绝缘本体1外弯折延伸的焊接部33。
请参阅图1及图3所示,组装时,先将端子2自绝缘本体1的后端组装入绝缘本体1内,所述端子2收容于端子收容槽13内,所述第一定位部200抵挡于第一侧壁10的外侧,所述第二定位部201抵挡于第二侧臂11的外侧,从而使端子2有较好的定位,再将抓板件3自绝缘本体1的上方插置于绝缘本体1两端的固持槽16内。
本实用新型电连接器通过在绝缘本体1的两端设有向收容空间内延伸的凸块18,该凸块18设有与收容空间相通且收容柔性印刷电路板的槽道182。从而改善了电连接器的连接稳定性。

Claims (6)

1.一种电连接器,用于连接柔性印刷电路板,该电连接器包括绝缘本体及固持于绝缘本体上的数个端子,所述绝缘本体设有对接面及自对接面凹设的收容空间,所述端子具有凸伸入收容空间中的接触部,其特征在于:绝缘本体的至少一端具有向收容空间内延伸的凸块,该凸块设有与收容空间相通且收容柔性印刷电路板的槽道。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体设有第一侧壁、第二侧壁及连接第一、第二侧壁两端的两端壁,所述凸块位于绝缘本体靠近对接面的一侧。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体的凸块自对接面延伸形成且与端壁、第一侧壁一体相连。
4.如权利要求1或2或3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述凸块具有向收容空间内凸伸的第一止挡部,所述槽道设置于第一止挡部与第一侧壁之间,且凸块具有位于槽道与对接面之间的第二止挡部。
5.如权利要求1或2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子设有本体部、自本体部延伸的第一支臂、与第一支臂相对的第二支臂,所述本体部设有抵挡于第一侧壁外侧的第一定位部及抵挡于第二侧壁外侧的第二定位部,所述端子设有自第一定位部向绝缘本体外延伸的焊接部。
6.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述电连接器设有安装于绝缘本体上的抓板件,所述抓板件设有主体部及自主体部向绝缘本体外弯折延伸的焊接部,所述主体部的两端分别设有固持于绝缘本体内的第一固持部及第二固持部。
