Abstract

一种电连接器,可电性连接芯片模组至电路板,其包括若干导电端子和用于收容导电端子的绝缘本体,绝缘本体包括用于承载芯片模组的基体,基体上设有若干用于收容导电端子的收容孔,其中所述基体的角落位置设置有向上延伸并卡持于芯片模组上部的卡扣。由于电连接器的绝缘本体基体在角落部设置有向上延伸并可卡持于芯片模组上部的卡扣,故不仅可以直接利用绝缘本体基体上设置的卡扣扣合芯片模组,无需另外设计固持机构件,而且本方案中卡扣设置在非导电端子区域,易于加工制造。

电连接器
【技术领域】
本实用新型是有关一种电连接器,尤其是指一种可电性连接芯片模组至电路板的电连接器。
【背景技术】
传统的电连接器,一般包括收容有若干导电端子的绝缘本体和用于扣合芯片模组将其固持于绝缘本体上的固持机构件,以确保容设于绝缘本体内的导电端子与芯片模组之间稳定的电性连接。电连接器要达成与电路板之间稳固的电性连接,就需首先将绝缘本体焊接于电路板上,接着将芯片模组组设于绝缘本体上,再利用固持机构件和电路板的配合关系将芯片模组紧密扣接于绝缘本体上,从而达到电连接器预期的电气连接目的。此类设计增设的固持机构件使得电连接器的组装变得繁琐,且往往必须牺牲额外的空间,对于某些空间需求比较苛刻的应用,此种设计就比较难以实施;此外,由于此类设计采用的固持机构件往往形状较为特殊,使得电连接器的生产成本也提高了。
为解决上述技术问题,出现了一种新的设计方案。其具体结构如图1所示,一种电连接器1’,可电性连接芯片模组2’至电路板3’,其包括收容有若干导电端子(未图示)的绝缘本体4’。绝缘本体4’包括大致呈矩形平板状的基体5’和若干用以收容导电端子的收容孔(未图示)。基体5’上表面各侧边的两端朝向芯片模组2’的方向对称地向上延伸设有卡勾51’,卡勾51’可卡扣于芯片模组2’的上表面。基体5’各侧边的卡勾51’与基体5’进而共同地定义出一收容芯片模组2’的容置空间。卡勾51’设有大致呈倾斜状的导入面52’,该导入面52’便于将芯片模组2’组设于绝缘本体4’的容置空间中。将芯片模组2’组设于绝缘本体4’的基体5’上,卡勾51’恰好扣在芯片模组2’的上表面,可防止芯片模组2’从电连接器1’中掉落,从而将芯片模组2’稳固扣合于电连接器1’中,实现芯片模组2’和电连接器1’之间的电性连接。
然而上述结构设计方案在具体实施时,发现存在以下不足:由于基体5’各侧边的卡勾51’需要设置在端子区,在加工时致使卡勾51’不易成型,制造难度加大,增加了生产成本。
鉴于上述状况,确有必要提供一种新型的电连接器以解决现有技术方案中存在的缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的是提供一种电连接器,尤指一种便于组装且易于加工制造的电连接器。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型所采用的技术方案如下:一种电连接器,可电性连接芯片模组至电路板,其包括若干导电端子和用于收容导电端子的绝缘本体,绝缘本体包括用于承载芯片模组的基体,基体上设有若干导电端子收容孔,其中所述基体的角落位置设置有向上延伸并卡持于芯片模组上部的卡扣。
与本实用新型相关技术相比,本实用新型的有益效果是:由于电连接器的绝缘本体基体在角落部设置有向上延伸并可卡持于芯片模组上部的卡扣,故不仅可以直接利用绝缘本体基体上设置的卡扣扣合芯片模组,无需另外设计固持机构件,而且本方案中卡扣设置在非导电端子区域,易于加工制造。

【具体实施方式】
如图2、3所示,为本实用新型的一个优选实施例。本电连接器1可电性连接芯片模组2至电路板(未图示),其包括若干导电端子3和用于收容导电端子的绝缘本体4,绝缘本体4包括用于承载芯片模组2的基体41,基体41上设有若干用于收容导电端子的收容孔42。收容孔42按照一定数目规则的分布于基体41的非角落位置处。
基体41大致呈矩形平板状,其三个角落位置设置有向上延伸并卡持于芯片模组2上部的卡扣43,第四个角落设有自基体41上表面贯穿至基体41侧壁的凹槽44。基体41的各侧边中部向上还延伸出一段用来稳固芯片模组2的侧壁45。基体41三个角落上的卡扣43和各侧壁45共同地定义出收容芯片模组2的容置空间。
卡扣43包括接触部46和卡持部47,其中接触部46用于与收容后的芯片模组2的棱角21相接触,起到对芯片模组2一定的稳固作用;卡持部47由接触部46顶端朝向芯片模组2的一侧延伸出,并卡持于芯片模组2的上部。卡持部47大致呈角度为直角的“<”状且带有圆弧倒角,其竖直方向上的横截面大致为等腰梯形。卡持部47包括用于引导芯片模组2放置入绝缘本体4的容置空间的导入面471、垂直方向的过渡面472和卡持在芯片模组2上部的卡持面473。导入面471和卡持面473大致呈相对称的倾斜状。
本电连接器1在使用过程中,芯片模组2可以方便的通过卡扣43卡持部47的导入面471和过渡面472进入绝缘本体4的容置空间,卡持部47的卡持面473恰好扣在芯片模组2的上部,可防止芯片模组2从电连接器1中掉落,从而将芯片模组2稳固扣合于电连接器1中,实现芯片模组2和电连接器1之间的电性连接。如需将芯片模组2拆卸下来,可以通过基体41角落上的凹槽44来施加力而轻松地将其取出。由于本电连接器1上的卡扣43设置在非导电端子区域,因此在加工制造时,比较易于成型,可以大大减少加工成本。
需要说明的是,本实用新型并不限于以上所述实施例的优选实施方案,本实用新型的绝缘本体也可以于基体的两个对角位置向上设有卡扣,于基体另外两个角落位置设有自基体上表面贯穿至基体侧壁的凹槽。其它在本实施方案基础上进行的任何改进变换也应当不脱离本实用新型的技术方案。本领域普通技术人员通过阅读本实用新型说明书而对本实用新型的技术方案采取的任何等效的变化,均为本实用新型权利要求所涵盖。

Claims (9)

1.一种电连接器,可电性连接芯片模组至电路板,其包括若干导电端子和用于收容导电端子的绝缘本体,绝缘本体包括用于承载芯片模组的基体,基体上设有若干用于收容导电端子的收容孔,其特征在于:所述基体的角落位置设置有向上延伸并卡持于芯片模组上部的卡扣。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述基体的角落位置中有三个角落向上延伸设有卡扣。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述卡扣包括接触部和由接触部顶端一侧延伸并卡持于芯片模组上部的卡持部。
4.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述卡持部竖直方向上的横截面为梯形。
5.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述卡持部包括用于引导芯片模组放置的导入面、垂直方向的过渡面和卡持在芯片模组上部的卡持面。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述导入面和卡持面大致呈相对称的倾斜状。
7.如权利要求3所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述基体的各侧边中部向上延伸出一段用来稳固芯片模组的侧壁。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述基体的两个对角位置向上设有卡扣。
9.如权利要求8所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述基体的另外两个角落位置设有自基体上表面贯穿至基体侧壁的凹槽。
