Abstract

一种在数字广播接收系统中的防止复制装置和方法,当在如HDD或DVD-RAM驱动器等的存储介质中保存接收的广播信号时,通过按特定方式再次加扰已解扰的数据流并保存加扰结果;能够防止未授权的第三方非法复制在存储介质中保存的信息。该防止复制装置包括:解扰被加扰的传输数据流(TS)模式化数据的多路分解器、再次进行加扰的加扰器、产生新加密密钥的密钥加密单元、以及控制存储介质保存再次加扰的TS模式化数据和新加密密钥的系统控制器。

Description

数字广播接收系统中的防止复制装置和方法
本发明涉及一种用于接收和保存数字广播信号的广播接收系统,具体涉及一种在数字广播接收系统中的防止复制装置和方法,其中,当在存储介质中保存版权应受保护的广播信号时,能够防止对此种广播信号进行未授权的非法复制。
硬盘驱动器(HDD)是一种在计算机中使用的辅助存储设备,其中,可以进行随机存取,数据传送速度快并且其成本低于其它的辅助存储设备,还能实现大容量。近来,数字多用盘(DVD)被推崇为下一代的存储介质。一种当前形式的DVD是可以任意记录和删除数据的DVD-RAM。因此,将HDD或DVD-RAM驱动器用作广播接收系统中的存储设备,从而使用户可以观看并保存广播节目。
而且,采用多频道并且每个频道包含多个节目的数字广播已经出现。数字广播接收系统接收通过广播电台或网络发送的多频道数字音频/视频数据,并再现和保存所接收的数据。一般情况下,数字音频/视频数据按照MPEG(运动图像专家组)标准来编码,并以包括多个节目数据的分组化数字传输流(TS)形式来发送。这里,利用加密或加扰方法编码节目数据,并且仅在允许观看节目的广播接收系统中解码所述节目数据。
下面将参照图1详细说明上面引用的现有技术。图1示出了采用一般HDD的广播接收系统的示意性结构。
在图1中,TS多路分解器(TS DEMUX)100从输入的被加扰的TS模式的数据TS1中,提取经加密的加扰器密钥。TS多路分解器100按照事先在智能卡104上编程的用户信息,对提取出的加扰器密钥进行解密。解密后的加扰器密钥和输入的TS模式化数据TS1,被输入到解扰器102。解扰器102利用由TS多路分解器100提供的解密密钥,对输入的TS模式化数据TS1进行解扰。响应于来自用户的再现或保存请求,在系统控制器108的控制下,将解扰后的TS模式化数据TS2通过TS多路分解器100,输入到音频/视频(A/V)解码器106或HDD接口单元110。如果用户请求再现操作,A/V解码器106就解码输入的解扰后的TS模式化数据TS2以进行显示,这样用户就能够观看它。如果用户请求保存操作,则HDD接口单元110在HDD(未示出)中保存输入的解扰后的TS模式化数据TS2。
然而,在存储介质中保存广播信号时,上述的常规广播接收系统以已解扰的形式保存广播信号。因此,未授权的第三方可以复制存储介质中的内容,于是就不能防止非法传播所保存的信息。
为了解决上述问题,本发明的一个目的是提供一种防止复制装置和方法,用于防止未授权的第三方非法复制在存储介质中保存的信息,其中,当在该存储介质中保存由数字广播接收系统接收的广播信号时,对此广播信号进行加扰。
为了实现本发明的上述目的,提供了一种在数字广播接收系统中使用的防止复制装置,所述数字广播接收系统用于接收数字多频道广播信号并观看和保存所需的节目,所述防止复制装置包括:解扰器,用于从在所需频道上接收的被加扰的传输流(TS)模式化数据中提取一个加扰器的加密钥,解密提取出的加密密钥,并利用经解密的密钥解扰被加扰的TS模式化数据;加扰器,用于再次加扰已解扰的TS模式化数据;密钥加密单元,用于对被加密的所述加扰器密钥进行解密,并再次加密被解密的密钥,从而产生新的加密密钥;存储介质,用于保存再次加扰的TS模式化数据以及新产生的加密密钥;以及,系统控制器,用于控制每个部件的操作,以便响应于来自用户的保存请求,在执行了防止复制操作之后保存数据。
本发明还提供了一种在数字广播接收系统中防止非法复制存储介质的方法,所述防止复制方法包括下列步骤:(a)从输入的被加扰的传输流(TS)模式化数据中提取一个加扰器的加密密钥;(b)解密在步骤(a)中提取出的加扰器密钥,并利用经解密的密钥解扰被加扰的TS模式化数据;(c)响应于来自用户的保存请求,再次加扰在步骤(b)中已解扰的TS模式化数据,再次解密被加密的加扰器密钥,并再次加密被解密的密钥,从而产生新的加密密钥;以及,(d)保存在步骤(c)中加扰的TS模式化数据以及所产生的加密密钥。
按照本发明上述在数字广播接收系统中使用的防止复制装置和方法,在将所接收的广播信号保存在如HDD或DVD-RAM驱动器等的存储介质中时,通过按照特定的方式再次对已解扰的数据流进行加扰,并保存加扰结果,可以带来能够防止未授权人复制在存储介质中保存的信息的效果。
通过参照附图来详细说明本发明的优选实施例,本发明的上述目的和其它优点将变得更清楚。附图中:
图1是具有硬盘驱动器(HDD)的一般广播接收系统的方框图;

以下将参照附图说明本发明的优选实施例。
图2示出了实现本发明的防止复制功能的广播接收系统。在图2所示的系统中有一些方框与图1中的方框相同,这些方框执行的功能与常规广播接收系统中相应方框的功能相同。这里,图2中的这些方框的标号与图1中相应方框的标号相同。此外,本发明的如图2所示的系统还包括:位于硬盘驱动器(HDD)接口单元110输入侧的加扰器200,用于再次对已解扰的传输流(TS)模式化数据TS2进行加扰;以及,密钥加密单元202,用于产生新的加密密钥。
下面将参照图3说明密钥加密单元202的详细结构。
图3是图2所示系统的密钥加密单元202的方框图。图3所示的密钥加密单元202包括:随机数生成器302,用于在执行相应系统的初始操作时生成一个随机数;以及,存储器304,用于保存所生成的随机数。这里,随机数生成器302具有相互不同的用于每一个广播接收系统的初始值,以防止在其它的广播接收系统中解扰在硬盘驱动器(HDD)中保存的数据。图3的密钥加密单元202还包括微控制器300,用于从TS多路分解器100接收一个加扰器的加密密钥,并对所接收的密钥进行解密,然后利用在存储器304中保存的随机数再次加密已解密的密钥,从而输出新加密的密钥。下面将参照图3和图4详细说明具有上述结构的如图2所示的数字广播接收系统中的防止复制操作。
在图2中,如果通过网络或广播电台输入加扰的TS数据TS1,则在系统控制器108的控制下,TS多路分解器100在加扰的TS数据TS1中,选择由用户选择的特定频道的节目数据流。TS多路分解器100将所选的特定频道节目数据流传送给解扰器102,然后按照事先在智能卡104中编程的用户信息,对在输入TS数据TS1中包括的经加密的加扰器密钥进行解密,然后将解密后的密钥传送给解扰器102。解扰器102利用由TS多路分解器100提供的已解密的加扰器密钥对输入数据流进行解扰。通过TS多路分解器100,分别将解扰后的TS模式化数据TS2提供给音频/视频(A/V)解码器106和加扰器200。在系统控制器108的控制下,A/V解码器106解码输入的已解扰的TS模式化数据TS2,然后在显示器(未示出)上显示解码后的数据TS2。于是,用户可以观看想要观看的特定频道的节目。
同时,在系统控制器108的控制下,加扰器200再次加扰输入的已解扰的TS模式化数据TS2,并且输出加扰后的TS模式化数据TS3,以便通过HDD接口单元110保存在HDD中。这里,加扰器200采用相应广播接收系统制造商的特定加扰器,其中将产品序列号用作加扰器密钥。密钥加密单元202对由TS多路分解器100通过系统控制器108提供的加密密钥进行解密,然后利用该产品序列号对已解密的密钥进行加密,从而产生新的加密密钥。虽然从TS多路分解器100中提取出的被加密的加扰器密钥可以不加修改地提供给密钥加密单元202,但是在传输过程中可能会暴露此加密密钥。因此,在密钥加密单元202中再次加密被解密的密钥。密钥加密单元202可以使用随机数来代替产品序列号。即,如图3所示,密钥加密单元202在存储器304中保存在系统初始操作时由随机数生成器302生成的随机数。密钥加密单元202中的微控制器300接收来自TS多路分解器100的被加密的加扰器密钥,然后解密所接收的加扰器密钥,再利用在存储器304中保存的随机数再次加密已解密的密钥,以生成新的加密密钥。通过HDD接口单元110将新加密密钥与新加扰的TS模式化数据TS3一起保存在HDD中。因此,用户可以保护想要保存的频道节目的版权,从而能够保存该节目。下面将详细说明这一操作。如果用户输入用于保存想要保存的节目的保存命令,则系统控制器108执行一组控制操作,以便响应于该保存命令在HDD中保存想要保存的所请求节目的数据。即,如图4中所示,系统控制器108执行HDD防止复制控制操作,以便在将数据保存在HDD中时,防止未授权的第三方复制在HDD中保存的信息。
图4是用于解释在图2所示系统中当在HDD中保存数据时的防止复制操作的流程图。在图4中,系统控制器108判断是否按照输入的保存命令开始保存操作(步骤400)。如果步骤400的判断结果是已开始保存操作,则系统控制器108控制加扰器200再次加扰已由TS多路分解器100解扰和输出的相应节目的TS模式化数据TS2(步骤402)。然后,系统控制器108利用软件对加扰器密钥进行加密,并将加密结果提供给密钥加密单元202(步骤404)。这里,当由系统控制器108将非加密密钥提供给密钥加密单元202而不进行再次加密时,可能会暴露在由密钥加密单元202产生的加密密钥和在提供给密钥加密单元202之前的非加密密钥之间的直接一对一的对应关系。于是,为了防止在由密钥加密单元202产生的加密密钥和在提供给密钥加密单元202之前的非加密密钥之间的直接一对一的对应关系被暴露,向密钥加密单元202提供新加密的密钥。因此,密钥加密单元202对被加密的密钥进行解密,然后再次加密已解密的密钥,从而产生新加密的密钥。然后,系统控制器108通过HDD接口单元110将由密钥加密单元202输出的加密密钥、和在加扰器200中加扰的相应节目的TS模式化数据TS3保存在HDD中(步骤406)。即,在将TS多路分解器100输出的已解扰的TS模式化数据TS2保存在HDD中之前,加扰器200再次加扰该数据。然后,系统控制器108检查是否用户通过按键输入器或遥控器输入停止保存命令(步骤408)。如果在步骤408中没有输入停止保存命令,则系统控制器108返回到步骤402,执行以前的步骤402至406的操作,加扰相应节目的TS模式化数据TS2,并再次对加扰器密钥进行加密,然后将其保存在HDD中。反之,如果在步骤408中输入了停止保存命令,则系统控制器108结束保存操作。
如上所述,本发明的在数字广播接收系统中的防止复制装置和方法,在将所接收的广播信号保存在如HDD或DVD-RAM驱动器等的存储介质中时,按照特定的方式再次对已解扰的数据流进行加扰,并保存加扰结果,从而具有能够防止未授权人复制在存储介质中保存的信息的效果。

Claims (12)

1.一种在数字广播接收系统中使用的防止复制装置,所述数字广播接收系统用于接收数字多频道广播信号并观看和保存所需的节目,所述防止复制装置包括:
解扰器,用于从在所需频道上接收的被加扰的传输流(TS)模式化数据中提取一个加扰器的加密密钥,解密提取出的加密密钥,并利用经解密的密钥解扰被加扰的TS模式化数据;
加扰器,用于再次加扰已解扰的TS模式化数据;
密钥加密单元,用于对被加密的所述加扰器密钥进行解密,并再次加密被解密的密钥,从而产生新的加密密钥;
存储介质,用于将再次加扰的TS模式化数据与新产生的加密密钥一起保存;以及
系统控制器,用于控制每个部件的操作,以便响应于来自用户的保存请求,在执行了防止复制操作之后保存数据。
2.如权利要求1所述的防止复制装置,其中,所述解扰器加密已解密的密钥并将被加密的密钥输出到密钥加密单元。
3.如权利要求2所述的防止复制装置,其中,所述密钥加密单元利用随机数产生加密密钥。
4.如权利要求2所述的防止复制装置,其中,所述密钥加密单元利用产品序列号产生加密密钥。
5.如权利要求3所述的防止复制装置,其中,所述密钥加密单元包括:
随机数生成器,用于在初始操作时生成随机数;
存储器,用于保存所述随机数生成器中生成的随机数;以及
微控制器,用于对所接收的被加密的加扰器密钥进行解密,然后利用在存储器中保存的随机数再次加密已解密的密钥,以此输出新加密的密钥。
6.如权利要求5所述的防止复制装置,其中,所述随机数生成器为每个广播接收系统产生相互不同的初始值,以防止在其它广播接收系统中解扰在存储介质中保存的数据。
7.如权利要求1所述的防止复制装置,其中,所述存储介质是硬盘驱动器(HDD)。
8.如权利要求1所述的防止复制装置,其中,所述存储介质是数字多用盘-随机存取存储器(DVD-RAM)区动器。
9.一种在数字广播接收系统中防止非法复制存储介质的方法,所述防止复制方法包括下列步骤:
(a)从输入的被加扰的传输流(TS)模式化数据中提取一个加扰器的加密密钥;
(b)解密在步骤(a)中提取出的加扰器密钥,并利用经解密的密钥解扰被加扰的TS模式化数据;
(c)响应于来自用户的保存请求,再次加扰在步骤(b)中已解扰的TS模式化数据,再次解密被加密的加扰器密钥,并再次加密被解密的密钥,从而产生新的加密密钥;以及
(d)将在步骤(c)中加扰的TS模式化数据与所产生的加密密钥一起保存。
10.如权利要求9所述的防止复制方法,其中,所述步骤(b)还包括再次加密已解密密钥的步骤(b1)。
11.如权利要求10所述的防止复制方法,其中,在所述步骤(c)中利用随机数加密已解密的密钥,来产生新的加密密钥。
12.如权利要求10所述的防止复制方法,其中,在所述步骤(c)中利用产品序列号加密已解密的密钥,来产生新的加密密钥。
