Abstract

Description
本发明涉及连续式喷墨(CIJ)打印机,更具体地,涉及多喷嘴型CIJ打印机。
为了提供高质量、高速打印,多喷嘴连续式喷墨打印机已经开发出来了。提供有一排间距非常靠近的墨水喷嘴,而且在使用中自各个喷嘴连续射出的单独墨水流股自动分解成单个液滴。适当地给这些单个液滴充电,使其打印上或偏转进入一流槽。这种类型的打印机记述于例如美国专利US-A-4613871和US-A-4427986中。这些专利说明书中所述打印机一般称为二元连续多射流式。
这种打印机的液滴发生器有一个或多个超声波换能器,一般为压电式换能器,它将从喷嘴中射出的墨水流在喷嘴之下的某特定位置破碎成液滴。为了避免其它元件的不必要运动,避免因频繁调整某元件相对于其它元件的位置所造成的无用的停顿时间,由于超声波换能器的操作所造成并传递到打印头的其它部件上的振动需要尽可能地减少。另外,如果要使液滴发生器按照其设计参数工作,则它的安装需要使其不受安装所产生应力的影响。
因此根据本发明,一种CIJ打印机具有一个液滴发生器和一个它的安装件,液滴发生器在该安装件上的安装是通过一对固定螺钉实现的,该对螺钉位于液滴发生器上的螺纹孔中并置于安装件上的相应孔内的弹性衬套内,且有两对在安装件和液滴发生器之间凸出的点接触装置,各对均与相应的一个固定螺钉的中心对正,并处在一条垂直于这些固定螺钉的中心连线的直线上。
通过这种装置,超声振动的传递显著减小且施加到液滴发生器上的安装应力同样减至最小。
本发明还包括具有这种打印头的打印机。
现在将参照附图对采用本发明的一个打印头的实例进行说明,其中:
图1是打印头一部分的侧视横截面图;
图2是与前一图呈90°的又一侧视图,只是表示用于将液滴发生器安装在打印头上的安装板;和
图3是安装板自另一侧的侧视图。
图中给出了打印头1的一部分,液滴发生器2固定在呈挠性构件3形式的安装件上,它而后固定在支架4上,该安装件或挠性构件最好如英国专利申请No.9626683.8和我们的共同未决的国际专利申请参考MJB 05545WO中所述,而安装板3固定到板4上的方法最好如我们的英国专利申请No.9626704.2和我们的共同未决的国际专利申请MJB 05497WO中所述。
为了将液滴发生器安装到挠性构件3上,一对螺钉5穿入位于挠性构件3的下安装部分8上的阶梯孔7中的相应弹性塑料衬套6内,而两对呈自安装件的主体上凸起形式的点接触装置9与螺钉5的中心对正,将液滴发生器与挠性构件3的邻接表面间隔开。那些对点接触装置,连同弹性衬套6,将超声波振动的传递减至最小,且各对均处在相应的、垂直于固定螺钉的中心连线的直线上,提供了这样一种安装形式,通过保证接触装置9和固定螺钉5处在垂直于液滴发生器的长度方向的直线上,即在使用中液滴沿其产生的轴线,(如图1中所示的A-A线)避免在液滴发生器2上产生纵向弯曲形式的应力。
Claims (3)
1.一种CIJ打印头,其包括:
一个液滴发生器,该液滴发生器有一对螺纹孔;
一个它的安装件,该安装件有一对孔和相应的一对处于安装件的相应孔内的弹性衬套;
一对固定螺钉,其布置在安装件的弹性衬套内并处于液滴发生器的螺孔内;以及
两对点接触装置,其凸出于安装件和液滴发生器之间,各对均与相应的一个固定螺钉的中心对正,且处于一条垂直于固定螺钉的中心连线的直线上。
2.如权利要求1所述的打印头,其中,该点接触装置包括自该安装件的凸起。
3.一种CIJ打印机,其有根据权利要求1或2的打印头。
