Disclosure of Invention
In such an absorbent article, suppression of side leakage during use is sought. The leakage preventing gathers of patent document 1 stand up on the absorbent core. Therefore, if highly fluid excrement such as soft feces is discharged and spread near the outer edge of the absorbent core, the excrement may reach the wall portion and side leakage may occur. In addition, in order to prevent excrement from reaching the wall portion, the width base end edge of the leakage preventing gathers is arranged at the outer side in the width direction than the outer side edge of the absorbent core, and the storage space of the leakage preventing gathers can be enlarged. However, if the width base edge of the leakage preventing gather is disposed at a position outside the outer edge of the absorbent core in the width direction, the width base edge is not supported by the rigidity of the absorbent core as compared with a mode in which the absorbent core and the width base edge overlap, and therefore, the width base edge may become unstable, and it is difficult to secure the height of the wall portion of the leakage preventing gather. Thus, the excrement may exceed the wall portion and may leak sideways.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and an object thereof is to provide an absorbent article capable of securing the height of the wall portion of the leakage preventing gathers and enlarging the storage space of the leakage preventing gathers.
An absorbent article according to one embodiment includes: a front waistline region, a back waistline region, and a crotch region located between the front waistline region and the back waistline region; a width direction extending from the front waistline region in a front-back direction of the back waistline region and orthogonal to the front-back direction; an absorbent core extending across the crotch region and at least either one of the front waistline region and the back waistline region; and a leakage preventing gather having a rising property and having a width base edge serving as a rising fulcrum of the constriction portion at a position laterally to the width direction than the constriction portion. The absorbent article is folded before use with the skin side of the absorbent article facing each other with an article folding line extending in the front-rear direction and disposed in a pair across the center of the absorbent article in the width direction as a base point. The width base end edge is disposed at least at the front waistline region and the back waistline region, and is located further outward in the width direction than the outer edge of the absorbent core. The article folding line overlaps the absorbent core at least in the front waistline region and the back waistline region.

Detailed Description
(1) Summary of the embodiments
At least the following matters will be apparent from the description of the present specification and drawings.
At least the front waistline region and the back waistline region are provided with width base end edges at positions which are positioned at the outer sides of the outer edges of the absorbent core in the width direction, and leakage prevention gathers can be formed at positions which are positioned at the outer sides of the outer edges of the absorbent core in the width direction. Even if highly fluid excrement such as soft feces is discharged and spread to the vicinity of the outer edge of the absorbent core, the width base edge of the leakage preventing gathers can be prevented from spreading, and leakage can be prevented. The folding line overlaps the absorbent core at least in the front waistline region and the back waistline region. Thus, the outer side portion of the absorbent core is deformed by the folds to stand up toward the wearer. The outer side portion of the absorbent core also stands up to the wearer side, so that the width base end edge located further to the outer side in the width direction than the absorbent core. Thus, the width base edge serving as the standing base of the wall portion stands up toward the wearer, thereby forming a high wall portion height and suppressing side leakage.
According to a preferred embodiment, the leakage preventing gather has a front base edge serving as a standing fulcrum of the constriction portion at a position on the front side of the constriction portion and a rear base edge serving as a standing fulcrum of the constriction portion at a position on the rear side of the constriction portion. At least one of the front base edge and the rear base edge is disposed in a region overlapping the absorbent core. According to this aspect, at least one of the front base end edge and the rear base end edge overlaps the absorbent core, so that the rising property of the wall portion is easily maintained by the rising fulcrum of the rigid support contraction portion of the absorbent core. Further, the front-rear direction end portion of the absorbent core can be pulled up by the leakage preventing gathers, and a bowl shape that bulges the front-rear direction end portion of the absorbent article toward the wearer side can be realized in a cross section along the front-rear direction, and leakage in the front-rear direction can be suppressed.
According to a preferred embodiment, the absorbent article includes a side elastic member which is located outside the outer edge of the absorbent core in the width direction and stretches in the front-rear direction. The side elastic member has an inner side elastic member positioned inward in the width direction from the width base end edge. According to this aspect, the region between the outer edge and the width base edge of the absorbent core can be pulled up toward the wearer by the inner elastic member. The adhesiveness of the portion on the side of the absorbent core can be improved, and the width base edge serving as the standing base point of the wall portion can be pulled up by pulling up the width base edge, so that the wall portion of the leakage preventing gather can be further improved.
According to a preferred embodiment, the inner elastic member is located outside the widthwise center between the outer edge of the absorbent core and the widthwise base edge. According to this aspect, the region outside the widthwise center of the widthwise base edge and the outer edge of the absorbent core is less likely to be affected by the rigidity of the absorbent core than the region inside the widthwise center of the widthwise base edge and the outer edge of the absorbent core, and is less likely to maintain a desired shape. The inner elastic member pulls up the region relatively far from the absorbent core, so that the absorbent article can be disposed along the body of the wearer, and side leakage can be suppressed.
According to a preferred embodiment, the absorbent article includes a side elastic member which is located outside the outer edge of the absorbent core in the width direction and stretches in the front-rear direction. The side elastic member has an outer side elastic member located outside the width direction of the width base end edge. According to this aspect, the outer side elastic member can pull up the region on the outer side in the width direction than the width base end edge toward the wearer. By pulling up the region on the inner side in the width direction than the width base edge, the wall portion standing up with the width base edge as the base point is not inclined outward in the width direction but is easily inclined inward in the width direction. The wall portion can be provided so as to cover the sides of the crotch portion of the wearer.
According to a preferred embodiment, the absorbent article includes at least the rear waistline region, and the wing extends to a position outside the absorbent core in the width direction, and a fastening member capable of fastening to the front waistline region is joined to the wing. The rear end edge of the constriction part is located at a position further to the rear than the front end edge of the wing part. The wearing aid pulls the fastening member and the wing portion in the width direction when wearing. At this time, since the rear end edge of the constricted portion is located at the rear side of the front end edge of the wing portion, the wing portion is pulled in the width direction, and the rear end edge of the constricted portion is also pulled outward in the width direction. Thus, the rising property of the contracted portion can be ensured, and the height of the wall portion of the leakage preventing gather can be ensured.
According to a preferred embodiment, the absorbent article has a width stretchable member that is positioned at least one of at a front side of the absorbent core and at a rear side of the absorbent core and stretches in the width direction. According to this aspect, the region outside the absorbent core in the front-rear direction can be made to adhere to the body by the width stretchable member. Thus, not only a bowl shape in which the side portion of the absorbent article is raised toward the wearer side by the leakage preventing gathers in the cross section along the width direction, but also a bowl shape in which the front-rear direction end portion of the absorbent article is raised toward the wearer side by the width stretchable member in the cross section along the front-rear direction can be realized. Not only side leakage but also leakage in the front-rear direction can be suppressed.
According to a preferred embodiment, in the stretched state of the absorbent article, the leakage preventing gathers have inner leakage preventing elastic members located inward in the width direction from the width base end edges. According to this aspect, the article folding line overlaps the leakage preventing gather between the width base end edge and the inner leakage preventing elastic member. The article folding line overlaps the leakage preventing gathers between the width base end edge and the inner leakage preventing elastic member. The contraction force of the inner side leakage preventing elastic member is transmitted to the absorbent core via the width base end edge. Folding lines are arranged on the width base end edge and the inner side leakage-proof elastic member, and the contraction force of the inner side leakage-proof elastic member can be blocked by the folding lines. The transmission of the contraction force of the inner side leakage preventing elastic member to the absorbent core can be suppressed. The shrinkage of the absorbent core due to the shrinkage of the leakage preventing gathers can be suppressed, and the area of the absorbent core against the body can be ensured. The absorption capacity can be ensured and leakage can be suppressed.
At least one of the front base end edge and the rear base end edge is provided in a region which does not overlap the absorbent core. According to this aspect, at least one of the front base edge and the rear base edge does not overlap the absorbent core, so that the contraction force of the leakage preventing gathers is not directly transmitted to the absorbent core via the front base edge and the rear base edge, and the absorbent core is less likely to contract due to the contraction of the leakage preventing gathers. The shrinkage of the absorbent core due to the shrinkage of the leakage preventing gathers can be suppressed, and the area of the absorbent core against the body can be ensured. The absorption capacity can be ensured and leakage can be suppressed.
According to a preferred embodiment, a non-joined region is provided in at least a part of the lamination region where the leakage preventing gathers overlap the absorbent core, and the non-skin surface of the leakage preventing gathers is not joined to the member that is in contact with the non-skin surface of the leakage preventing gathers in the non-joined region. According to this aspect, since the non-joined region is provided in the lamination region, the transfer of the contraction force of the leakage preventing gathers to the absorbent core can be suppressed, and the contraction of the absorbent core due to the contraction of the leakage preventing gathers can be suppressed.
According to a preferred embodiment, in the extended state of the absorbent article, the contracted portion has an inner contracted portion located inward in the width direction from the width base end edge and an outer contracted portion located outward in the width direction from the width base end edge. The inner constriction constitutes a so-called inner reverse pleat and the outer constriction constitutes a so-called outer reverse pleat. By both pleats, the face against the body can be set larger. Further, since the inner and outer contractions are provided, the contractions extend to both sides in the width direction, and the contractions follow the body, the wall portion can be easily maintained in the upright position as compared with a configuration in which the length of 1 contractions in the width direction is long.

The absorbent article may be a disposable diaper for adults or a disposable diaper for children. In the description of the drawings below, the same or similar parts are denoted by the same or similar reference numerals. It should be noted that the drawings are schematic, and the ratio of the dimensions and the like are different from those of actual ones. Therefore, specific dimensions and the like should be determined in consideration of the following description. Further, the drawings may include portions having different dimensional relationships or ratios from each other.
Fig. 1 is a plan view of an absorbent article 1 according to the present embodiment as seen from the skin side, and fig. 2 is a plan view showing a state in which the absorbent article shown in fig. 1 is folded around an article folding line as a base point. Fig. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A shown in fig. 1. Fig. 4 is a sectional view taken along line B-B of fig. 1. Fig. 5 is a sectional view taken along line C-C of fig. 1. Fig. 1 and 2 are plan views showing an extended state in which the absorbent article 1 is extended to a state in which no wrinkles are formed. The extended state in the present invention means the following state: the absorbent article 1 is stretched to a state in which no wrinkles are formed. In addition, the natural state in the present invention means the following state: the absorbent article 1 contained in the package was taken out of the package, and the absorbent article 1 was left to stand in an atmosphere of 60% ± 5% rh at 20 ℃ ± 2 ℃. The absorbent article 1 of the present embodiment is an absorbent article for a large adult in the form of a roll, but is not limited thereto. The absorbent article 1 may be an absorbent article for children.
The absorbent article 1 has a front-back direction L and a width direction W orthogonal to each other. The front-rear direction L is defined by the direction in which the front and rear sides of the body extend (the direction in which the front waistline region S1 and the rear waistline region S2 extend). In other words, the front-rear direction L is a direction extending in the front-rear direction in the unfolded absorbent article 1. The absorbent article 1 has a thickness direction T orthogonal to both the front-back direction L and the width direction W. The thickness direction T extends toward the skin surface side T1 on the wearer side and the non-skin surface side T2 on the side away from the wearer. In the present specification, the "skin-facing side" corresponds to the side facing the skin of the wearer during use. The "non-skin-facing side" corresponds to the side that faces the skin of the wearer during use.
The absorbent article 1 has a front waistline region S1, a back waistline region S2, and a crotch region S3. The front waistline region S1 faces the front side of the wearer' S body in use. The rear waistline region S2 faces the rear side of the wearer' S body in use. The crotch region S3 is located between the front waistline region S1 and the back waistline region S2, and is disposed in the crotch of the wearer in use. The crotch region S3 can be defined by the absorbent core 30. Specifically, in the absorbent core 30 having the narrowed portion 33, the region in which the narrowed portion 33 of the absorbent core 30 is formed becomes the region in the front-rear direction L of the crotch region S3. In the absorbent core 30 having no narrowed portion 33, the central region obtained by trisecting the length of the absorbent core 30 in the front-rear direction is a region in the front-rear direction L of the crotch region S3. In the present embodiment, the front end edge of the narrowed portion 33 of the absorbent core 30 defines the boundary between the crotch region S3 and the front waistline region S1, and the rear end edge of the narrowed portion 33 of the absorbent core 30 defines the boundary between the crotch region S3 and the rear waistline region S2.
The absorbent article 1 has at least an absorbent core 30. The absorbent core 30 extends across the crotch region S3, toward at least one of the front waistline region S1 and the back waistline region S2. The absorbent core 30 may be, for example, a laminate of absorbent materials comprising comminuted pulp or superabsorbent polymers (SAP) or mixtures thereof. As described above, the absorbent core 30 is formed with the narrowed portion 33 recessed in the width direction W in the crotch region. The length in the width direction W of the narrowed portion 33 is shorter than the length in the width direction W of the portion other than the narrowed portion 33 of the absorbent core.
The absorbent article 1 has a skin-facing sheet 10 positioned on the skin-facing side T1 of the absorbent core 30. The skin-facing sheet may have a top sheet 11, side sheets 12, and a skin-side core wrap 13. The topsheet 11 has liquid permeability and can be disposed so as to cover at least the center in the width direction W of the absorbent core 30. The side sheet 12 is made of a general nonwoven fabric, and may be made of a material having hydrophobicity or processed. The side sheet 12 may be disposed outside the center of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W so as to cover both side portions of the front sheet 11 in the width direction W. The front sheet 11 and the side sheet 12 may constitute a leakage preventing sheet described later. The skin-side core wrap 13 is made of nonwoven fabric or tissue. In the modification, the skin-side sheet 10 may have a second sheet disposed on the non-skin-side of the surface sheet 11 and closer to the skin-side surface than the skin-side core wrap sheet 13. The absorbent article 1 has a non-skin-surface sheet 20 positioned on the non-skin-surface side T2 of the absorbent core 30. The non-skin patch 20 may have: a liquid impermeable back film 21; a back nonwoven fabric 22 disposed on the non-skin side T2 of the back film 21; and a non-skin-side core wrap sheet 23 positioned on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 30.
The wing portions 90 may be provided at least in the rear waistline region S2. The wing portions 90 extend to positions outside the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W. The wing portion 90 has a base material sheet 93 and a fastening member joined to the base material sheet 93. The base sheet 93 is joined between the skin sheet 10 and the non-skin sheet 20, and extends from the skin sheet 10 and the non-skin sheet 20 to the outside in the width direction W. The fastening member is configured to be capable of fastening to a target portion 95 provided in the front waistline region S1. More specifically, the fastening member is provided with a hook member fastened to the target portion 95. The fastening member of the present embodiment includes a 1 st fastening member 91 and a 2 nd fastening member 92 arranged at a distance in the front-rear direction L. The 1 st fastening member 91 is located on the front side of the 2 nd fastening member 92. The front end edge 91F of the 1 st securing member 91 constitutes the front end edge of the securing member. In the modification, 1 fastening member may be provided on each of the left and right sides. The front edge 90F of the wing 90 is formed by the front edge of the base material sheet 93. In the modification, the absorbent article 1 may not include the base sheet 93 of the wing portion 90, and the skin-facing sheet 10 and the non-skin-facing sheet 20 may extend outward in the width direction W and the fastening member may be joined to the skin-facing sheet. In this modification without the base material sheet 93, the front end edge 90F of the wing portion 90 may be constituted by the front end edge of the fastening member.
As shown in fig. 2, the absorbent article 1 is folded about an article folding line FL1 extending in the front-rear direction L as a base point before use. The article folding line FL1 is arranged in a pair with the article width center 1WC, which is the center in the width direction W of the absorbent article 1. The absorbent article 1 is folded with the article folding line FL1 as a base point so that the skin surface sides T1 face each other. Accordingly, in the absorbent article 1, a crease is formed in which the region outside the article folding line FL1 in the width direction W stands up toward the skin surface side T1 with the article folding line FL1 as a base point. As shown in fig. 1, the article folding line FL1 overlaps the absorbent core 30 at least in the front waistline region S1 and the back waistline region S2. The article folding line FL1 of the present embodiment is disposed at a position outside the width direction W than the inner edge of the narrowed portion 33 (the portion of the narrowed portion that is most recessed inward in the width direction W), and at a position inside the width direction W than the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30. The flap portion 90 of the absorbent article 1 is folded inward in the width direction W before being folded around the article folding line FL1, and is folded inward in the width direction W around the inner edge of the flap portion (the outer edge of the skin sheet 10 and the outer edge of the non-skin sheet 20) in the folded state of the fastening member.
In the present invention, the outer side portion means a portion occupying a certain range in the width direction W including an outer edge in the width direction W, and the outer edge is an outer edge in the width direction W. The inner side in the present invention means a portion occupying a certain range in the width direction W including an inner edge in the width direction W, and the inner edge is an inner edge in the width direction W. In the present invention, the front end portion and the rear end portion are portions that occupy a certain range in the front-rear direction L, including the edge portion in the front-rear direction L, and the front end edge and the rear end edge are the edge portions in the front-rear direction L. The outer end portion includes a front end portion and a rear end portion, and the outer end edge includes a front end edge and a rear end edge. The inner side edge is an edge including an inner side edge and extending in the front-rear direction L. The outer side edge is an edge including an outer side edge and extending in the front-rear direction L. In the present specification, the term "along the front-rear direction L" refers to a direction having an angle smaller than 45 ° with respect to the front-rear direction L, and the term "along the width direction W" refers to a direction having an angle smaller than 45 ° with respect to the width direction W.
The absorbent article 1 has side elastic members 80. The side elastic members 80 are located outside the outer edges 30E of the absorbent core in the width direction W, and extend and contract in the front-rear direction L. The side elastic members 80 are stretchable members separate from the leakage-proof elastic members described later. The side elastic member 80 is joined between the skin sheet 10 and the non-skin sheet 20. More specifically, the side elastic members 80 are provided in the left and right sides of the width direction W at a distance from each other. The side elastic member 80 located at the innermost side in the width direction W is arranged between the front sheet 11 and the back film 21. The remaining 2 side elastic members 80 are arranged between the side panels 12 and the back film 21.
The absorbent article has leakage preventing gathers 60. The leakage preventing gathers 60 are configured to be capable of rising toward the skin side T1 of the wearer. The leakage preventing gather 60 has: a contracted portion 63 contracted by contraction of the leakage-preventing elastic member 69; a width base edge 64 serving as a standing fulcrum of the constricted portion 63 at a position laterally of the constricted portion 63 in the width direction W; a front base edge 65 which serves as a fulcrum for the contraction portion 63 to stand on the front side of the contraction portion 63; and a rear base end edge 66 serving as a standing fulcrum of the constricted portion 63 at a position on the rear side of the constricted portion 63. The front end edge of the constricted portion 63 coincides with the front base end edge 65, and the rear end edge of the constricted portion 63 coincides with the rear base end edge 66. The contracted portion 63 is a region that can rise toward the skin surface side T1, and is a concept including not only a region where the leakage preventing elastic member 69 is arranged but also a region where the leakage preventing elastic member 69 is not arranged.
The leakage preventing gather 60 of the present embodiment has an inner leakage preventing gather 601 and an outer leakage preventing gather 602. The inner leakage preventing gathers 601 are so-called inner reverse gathers, and form a housing space that opens toward the inner side in the width direction W. The inner leakage preventing gather 601 has an inner constriction 631 as the constriction 63, an inner width base end 641 as the width base end 64, an inner front base end 651 as the front base end 65, and an inner rear base end 661 as the rear base end 66. The outer leakage preventing gathers 602 are so-called outer reverse gathers, and form a housing space that opens to the outside in the width direction W. The outer leakage preventing gather 602 has an outer contracted portion 632 as a contracted portion 63, an outer width base end edge 642 as a width base end edge 64, an outer front base end edge 652 as a front base end edge 65, and an outer rear base end edge 662 as a rear base end edge 66. In the following description of the leakage preventing gathers, unless otherwise specified, the positional relationship in the stretched state of the absorbent article 1 is referred to.
The leakage preventing gathers 60 are composed of at least leakage preventing sheets 68 and leakage preventing elastic members 69. The leakage preventing elastic member 69 is disposed in a state of being elongated in the front-rear direction L, and expands and contracts in the front-rear direction L. The leakage preventing sheet 68 is joined to a leakage preventing elastic member 69, and at least a part thereof is configured to be capable of standing up with respect to the sheet positioned on the non-skin surface side of the leakage preventing sheet. The inner leakage preventing gather 601 has an inner leakage preventing elastic member 691 as the leakage preventing elastic member 69. The inner leakage preventing elastic member 691 is provided on the inner side of the inner contraction portion 631, and is located on the inner side in the width direction W than the inner width base end edge 641 in the extended state of the absorbent article. The apex of the inner constriction 631 is provided at the inner edge of the inner constriction 631. The inner leakage preventing sheet 681 of the inner leakage preventing gather 601 is constituted by the surface sheet 11. In the modification, the inner leakage preventing sheet 681 may be formed of a side sheet or may be formed of a surface sheet or other sheet other than the side sheet. The inner leakage preventing sheet 681 of the present embodiment is formed by folding back the surface sheet 11. More specifically, the front sheet 11 is folded inward in the width direction W on the outer side in the width direction W with the 1 st surface fold line FL11 as a base point, and is folded outward in the width direction W on the non-skin side T2 with the 2 nd surface fold line FL12 as a base point on the inner side in the width direction W of the folded portion. The region between the 1 st surface folding line FL11 and the 2 nd surface folding line FL12 constitutes an inner skin contact portion at the position on the most skin surface side of the inner leakage preventing gather 601. The portion folded with the 2 nd surface folding line FL12 as the base point constitutes the inner terminal portion. The portion not folded with the 1 st surface folding line FL11 as the base point (the portion extending from the 1 st surface folding line FL11 to the inside in the width direction W) constitutes an inside facing portion arranged to face the inside skin contact portion. The inner distal end portion covers the inner facing portion. The inner leakage preventing elastic member 691 is disposed between the inner skin contact portion and the distal end portion. The inner facing portion of the present embodiment is joined to the sheet (the skin-side core wrap sheet 13 and the non-skin-side sheet 20) located on the non-skin-side of the surface sheet via the adhesive HM. The inside width base end edge 641 is a 1 st surface folding line FL11. The inner front base edge 651 is a rear edge (an edge on the innermost contracted portion side) of a region where the inner skin contact portion and the distal end portion are fixed to the inner facing portion at a position on the front side of the inner contracted portion 631. The inner rear base edge 661 is a front edge (an edge on the innermost contraction portion side) of a region where the inner skin contact portion and the distal end portion are fixed to the inner facing portion at a position on the rear side of the inner contraction portion 631.
The outer leakage preventing gather 602 has an outer leakage preventing elastic member 692 as the leakage preventing elastic member 69. The outer leakage preventing elastic member 692 is provided on the outer side of the outer contraction portion 632, and is located outside the outer width base end edge 642 in the width direction W in the extended state of the absorbent article. The apex of the outer constriction 632 is provided at the outer edge of the outer constriction 632. The outer leakage preventing sheet 682 of the outer leakage preventing gather 602 is constituted by the side sheet 12. In the modification, the outer leakage preventing sheet 682 may be constituted by a front surface sheet or by other sheets than the front surface sheet and the side sheet. The outer leakage preventing sheet 682 of the present embodiment is formed by folding back the side panels 12. More specifically, the side sheet 12 is folded outward in the width direction W with respect to the skin surface side T1 at the inner side in the width direction W with the 1 st side folding line FL21 as a base point, and is folded inward in the width direction W with respect to the non-skin surface side T2 at the outer side in the width direction W with respect to the 2 nd side folding line FL22 as a base point. The region between the 1 st side folding line FL21 and the 2 nd side folding line FL22 constitutes an outer skin contact portion of the outer leakage preventing gather 602 on the skin surface side T1. The portion folded with the 2 nd side folding line FL22 as the base point constitutes the outer terminal portion. The portion not folded about the 2 nd side folding line FL22 (the portion extending outward in the width direction W from the 2 nd side folding line and overlapping) constitutes an outer facing portion arranged to face the outer skin contact portion. The outer terminal portion covers the outer facing portion. The outer leak-proof elastic member 692 is disposed between the outer skin contact portion and the distal end portion. The outer width base end edge 642 of the present embodiment is the 2 nd lateral folding line FL22. The outer front base end 652 is a rear end edge (an end edge on the outermost contraction portion side) of a region where the outer skin contact portion and the distal end portion are fixed to the outer facing portion at a position on the front side of the outer contraction portion. The outer rear base end 662 is a distal end (an end on the outermost contraction portion side) of a region where the outer skin contact portion and the distal end are fixed to the outer facing portion at a position rearward of the outer contraction portion 632.
The absorbent article 1 of the present embodiment is configured to secure the height of the wall portion of the leakage preventing gather 60 and to expand the storage space of the leakage preventing gather 60. Next, a structure for enlarging the accommodation space of the leakage preventing gathers 60 while securing the height of the wall portions of the leakage preventing gathers will be described in detail. Fig. 6 is a cross-sectional view based on fig. 4, schematically showing a state in which the absorbent article is unfolded with the article folding line FL1 as a base point. The leakage preventing gathers are portions that rise toward the skin surface side by contraction of the contraction portion.
The width-wise proximal edge 64 is disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W at least in the front waistline region S1 and the back waistline region S2. The width base end edges 64 of at least a part of the plurality of width base end edges 64 may be disposed outside the outer side edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W. As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the inner width base end edge 641 of the present embodiment is disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W. In the modification, both the inner width base end edge 641 and the outer width base end edge 642 may be disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W in the front waistline region S1 and the back waistline region S2. At least in the front waistline region S1 and the back waistline region S2, the width base end edge 64 is disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W, and the leakage preventing gathers 60 can be formed in the wall portion outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W. Even if highly fluid excrement such as soft feces is discharged and spread near the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30, the leakage prevention gathers 60 can suppress the spread to the outside and side leakage. The inner width base end edge 641 is disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W, and can hold excrement in the accommodation space of the inner leakage preventing gathers 601 even if highly fluid excrement diffuses near the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30, thereby suppressing side leakage. Preferably, the entire region of the inner width base end edge 641 in the front-rear direction L may be disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W. Similarly, the entire region of the outer width base end edge 642 in the front-rear direction L may be disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 to 5, the entire region in the front-rear direction L of the inner width base edge 641 is disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W. As shown in fig. 3, the outer width base end edge 642 is disposed outside the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 in the width direction W in the crotch region S3. As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the outer-width base end edge 642 overlaps the absorbent core 30 at a position inside the front waistline region S1 and the back waistline region S2 in the width direction W than the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30. At least a part of the lamination area where the absorbent core 30 and the leakage preventing gathers 60 overlap, a non-joined area NR where the non-skin surface of the leakage preventing gathers is not joined to a member that abuts the non-skin surface of the leakage preventing gathers is provided. The non-joined region NR is a region where the non-skin surface of the inner leakage preventing sheet 681 constituting the inner leakage preventing gather 601 is not joined to the member (back film 21) that is in contact with the non-skin surface of the inner leakage preventing sheet 681, and a region where the non-skin surface of the outer leakage preventing sheet 682 constituting the outer leakage preventing gather 602 is not joined to the member (back film 21) that is in contact with the non-skin surface of the outer leakage preventing sheet 682. The adhesive HM is not disposed in the non-joined region NR on the non-skin surface of the leakage preventing gathers. The adhesive HM is disposed on the non-skin surface of the leakage preventing gather at a position outside the non-joining region NR in the width direction, and is joined to a member that is in contact with the non-skin surface of the leakage preventing gather. In the present embodiment, the non-joined region NR is provided in a part of the lamination region where the absorbent core 30 overlaps the inner side leakage preventing gathers 601 and a part of the lamination region where the absorbent core 30 overlaps the outer side leakage preventing gathers 602. Since the non-joined region NR is provided in the lamination region, the transfer of the contraction force of the leakage preventing gathers 60 to the absorbent core 30 can be suppressed, and the contraction of the absorbent core 30 due to the contraction of the leakage preventing gathers 60 can be suppressed.
As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the article folding line FL1 overlaps with the absorbent core 30 at least in the front waistline region S1 and the back waistline region S2. Thus, as shown in fig. 6, the outer side portion of the absorbent core 30 is deformed by the fold to stand up toward the wearer. By rising the outer side portion of the absorbent core 30, the width base end edge 64 located further to the outer side in the width direction W than the absorbent core 30 also rises toward the wearer. Thus, the width base end edge 64, which is the standing base point of the wall portion, stands up toward the wearer, thereby increasing the height of the wall portion and suppressing side leakage. In the present embodiment, both the inner width base end edge 641 and the outer width base end edge 642 are positioned outside the article folding line FL1 in the width direction W, and both the inner width base end edge 641 and the outer width base end edge 642 are erected toward the wearer by folding.
At least one of the front base end edge 65 and the rear base end edge 66 may be disposed in a region overlapping the absorbent core 30. In the present embodiment, the inner front base end edge 651 is disposed in a region overlapping the absorbent core 30, and the inner rear base end edge 661, the outer front base end edge 652, and the outer rear base end edge 662 are disposed in regions not overlapping the absorbent core 30. By overlapping at least one of the front base end edge 65 and the rear base end edge 66 with the absorbent core 30, the standing fulcrum of the contracted portion 63 is supported by the rigidity of the absorbent core 30, and the wall portion standing property is easily maintained. Further, the end portions of the absorbent core 30 in the front-rear direction L can be pulled up by the leakage preventing gathers 60, a bowl shape in which the end portions of the absorbent article 1 in the front-rear direction L bulge toward the wearer side can be realized in a cross section along the front-rear direction L, and leakage in the front-rear direction L can be suppressed.
As shown in fig. 3, the side elastic member 80 may have an inner side elastic member 81 located further inward in the width direction W than the width base end edge 64. The inner elastic member 81 may be located further inward in the width direction W than at least one of the inner width base edge 641 and the outer width base edge 642. The inner side elastic member 81 of the present embodiment is located inward in the width direction W than the inner side width base end edge 641, and is constituted by the innermost side elastic member 80 located in the width direction W among the 3 side elastic members 80. According to this configuration, the region between the outer edge 30E and the width base edge 64 of the absorbent core 30 can be pulled up toward the wearer by the inner elastic member 81. The close contact property of the portion on the side of the absorbent core 30 can be improved, and by pulling up the width base end edge 64, the width base end edge 64 that becomes the standing base point of the wall portion can also be pulled up, and the wall portion of the leakage preventing gather 60 can be further improved.
The inner elastic member 81 may be located outside the width direction W than the center of the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30 and the width direction W of the width-based end edge 64. As shown in fig. 3, in the present embodiment, the inner elastic member 81 is positioned outside the widthwise direction W with respect to the center CL64 of the widthwise direction W between the outer edge 30E and the inner widthwise base end edge 641 of the absorbent core 30. The region outside the center CL64 in the width direction W is less affected by the rigidity of the absorbent core 30 than the region inside the center CL64, and is less likely to maintain a desired shape. The inner elastic member 81 can pull up the region relatively far from the absorbent core 30, and the absorbent article 1 can be disposed along the body of the wearer, thereby suppressing side leakage.
The side elastic member 80 may have an outer side elastic member 82 located outside the width-wise direction W than the width-wise base end edge 64. The outer side elastic member 82 can pull up the region outside the width direction W with respect to the width base end edge 64 toward the wearer. By pulling up the region on the inner side in the width direction W than the width base edge 64, the wall portion standing up with the width base edge 64 as the base point is not inclined outward in the width direction W but is easily inclined inward in the width direction W. The wall portion may be provided so as to cover the side of the crotch of the wearer. The outer elastic member 82 may be positioned outside the width direction W with respect to at least one of the inner width base end edge 641 and the outer width base end edge 642. However, it is preferable that the outer elastic member 82 is located outside the inner width base end edge 641 in the width direction W. The outer side elastic member 82 of the present embodiment is located outside the inner width base end edge 641 in the width direction W, and is configured by the outermost side elastic member 80 located in the width direction W and the side elastic member 80 located in the center in the width direction W among the 3 side elastic members 80. With this configuration, the wall portion of the inner side leakage preventing gather 601 which is turned inward can be prevented from being turned outward, and the effect of providing the wall portion so as to cover the side of the crotch of the wearer can be further obtained.
The rear end edge 63R of the constricted portion 63 may be located further to the rear than the front end edge 90F of the wing portion 90. In the present embodiment, the rear end edge 631R of the inner constricted portion 631 is located rearward of the front end edge 90F of the wing 90, and the rear end edge 632R of the outer constricted portion 632 coincides with the front end edge 90F of the wing 90. The wearing aid pulls the fastening member and the wing portion 90 in the width direction W when wearing. At this time, since the rear end edge 63R of the constricted portion 63 is located at the rear side of the front end edge 90F of the wing portion 90, by pulling the wing portion 90 in the width direction W, the rear end edge of the constricted portion 63 is also pulled outward in the width direction W. Thus, the rising property of the constriction 63 can be ensured, and the height of the wall portion of the leakage preventing gather 60 can be ensured. In addition, it is preferable that the rear end edge 63R of the constricted portion 63 be located at a position further rearward than the front end edge of the fastening member. When the wearing assistant pulls the fastening member, the contraction part is easily pulled, and the rising property of the contraction part 63 can be further improved.
The absorbent article 1 may have a width stretchable member 88 that stretches and contracts in the width direction W and is located outside the absorbent core 30 in the front-rear direction L. The rear end edge 88R of the width stretchable member 88 of the present embodiment is separated from the rear end edge 1R of the absorbent article 1 and is located on the front side of the rear end edge 1R of the absorbent article 1. The front edge 88F of the width stretchable member 88 is separated from the rear edge 30R of the absorbent core 30 and is located at a position further rearward than the rear edge 30R of the absorbent core 30. The outer edge of the width stretchable member 88 is located further inward in the width direction W than the inner edge (the apex of the inner constriction 631) of the leakage preventing gather 60. The region outside the absorbent core 30 in the front-rear direction L can be brought into close contact with the body by the width stretchable member 88. Therefore, not only the bowl shape in which the side portion of the absorbent article 1 bulges toward the wearer side by the leakage preventing gathers 60 in the cross section along the width direction W, but also the bowl shape in which the end portion of the absorbent article in the front-rear direction L bulges toward the wearer side by the width stretchable member 88 in the cross section along the front-rear direction L can be realized. Not only side leakage but also leakage in the front-rear direction L can be suppressed.
The absorbent article 1 of the present embodiment is configured to ensure the absorption capacity by suppressing the contraction of the absorbent core 30, thereby suppressing leakage. Next, a structure for suppressing shrinkage of the absorbent core 30 will be described in detail. The article folding line FL1 may overlap the leakage preventing gather 60 between the width base end edge 64 and the inner leakage preventing elastic member 691. In the present embodiment, the article folding line FL1 overlaps the inner leakage preventing gather 601 between the inner width base end edge 641 and the inner leakage preventing elastic member 691. The article folding line FL1 overlaps the leakage preventing gather 60 between the width base end edge 64 and the inner leakage preventing elastic member 691. The contraction force of the inner side leakage preventing elastic member 691 is transmitted to the absorbent core 30 via the width base end edge 64. An article folding line FL1 is arranged between the inner width base end edge 641 and the inner leakage preventing elastic member 691, and the contraction force of the inner leakage preventing elastic member 691 can be blocked by the article folding line FL 1. The transmission of the contraction force of the inner side leakage preventing elastic member 691 to the absorbent core 30 can be suppressed. The contraction of the absorbent core 30 due to the contraction of the leakage preventing gathers 60 can be suppressed, and the area of the absorbent core 30 against the body can be ensured. The absorption capacity can be ensured and leakage can be suppressed.
The inner width base end 641 is disposed further outward in the width direction W than the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30. Since the inner width base end edge is located further outward in the width direction W than the outer side edge 30E of the absorbent core 30, the contraction force of the leakage preventing gathers 60 is not directly transmitted to the absorbent core 30 via the inner width base end edge 641, and it is difficult to contract the absorbent core 30 due to the contraction of the inner leakage preventing gathers 601. Preferably, the entire area of the inner width base end edge 641 in the front-rear direction L may not overlap the absorbent core 30. Similarly, the outer-width proximal edge 642 may be disposed further outward in the width direction W than the outer edge 30E of the absorbent core 30. The contraction force of the outer side leakage preventing gathers 602 is not directly transmitted to the absorbent core via the outer side width base end edge 642, and it is difficult to contract the absorbent core 30 by contraction of the outer side leakage preventing gathers 602.
At least one of the front base end edge 65 and the rear base end edge 66 may be disposed in a region that does not overlap the absorbent core 30. In the present embodiment, the outer front base end 652, the outer rear base end 662, and the inner rear base end 661 are disposed in regions that do not overlap the absorbent core 30. Since at least one of the front base end edge 65 and the rear base end edge 66 does not overlap the absorbent core 30, the contraction force of the leakage preventing gathers 60 is not directly transmitted to the absorbent core 30 via the front base end edge 65 and the rear base end edge 66, and it is difficult to contract the absorbent core 30 due to the contraction of the leakage preventing gathers 60. The contraction of the absorbent core 30 due to the contraction of the leakage preventing gathers 60 can be suppressed, and the area of the absorbent core 30 against the body can be ensured. The absorption capacity can be ensured and leakage can be suppressed.
The contraction portion 63 may have an inner contraction portion 631 located inward in the width direction W than the width base end edge 64 and an outer contraction portion 632 located outward in the width direction W than the width base end edge 64 in the extended state of the absorbent article 1. The inner constriction 631 is located on the inner side in the width direction W than the inner width base edge 641, and the outer constriction 632 is located on the outer side in the width direction W than the outer width base edge 642. The inner constriction 631 constitutes a so-called inner reverse pleat and the outer constriction 632 constitutes a so-called outer reverse pleat. By these two leakage preventing gathers, the surface against the body can be made larger. Further, since the constricted portions are disposed on both sides of the width base edge 64, respectively, the constricted portions follow the body, and thus the wall portion can be easily maintained in the upright position as compared with a configuration in which the length of 1 constricted portion in the width direction W is long.
The present invention has been described in detail using the embodiments described above, but it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in the present specification. The present invention can be implemented as modifications and variations without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined in the appended claims. Accordingly, the description of the present specification is for the purpose of illustration and description, and is not intended to limit the present invention in any way. For example, the leakage preventing pleats of the above-described embodiment have the inner leakage preventing pleats 601 and the outer leakage preventing pleats 602, but in a modification, the leakage preventing pleats may have either one of the inner leakage preventing pleats 601 and the outer leakage preventing pleats 602. In addition, the inner side portion of the outer side leakage preventing gather 602 of the embodiment overlaps the outer side portion of the inner side leakage preventing gather 601. That is, the outer leakage preventing gathers 602 and the inner leakage preventing gathers 601 are partially laminated and joined via an adhesive. However, in the modification, the outer leakage preventing gathers 602 and the inner leakage preventing gathers 601 may not be laminated and may be separated in the width direction W. The outer leakage preventing gathers 602 of the embodiment are disposed on the skin surface side of the inner leakage preventing gathers 601. However, in the modification, the inner leakage preventing gather 601 may be disposed on the skin surface side T1 of the outer leakage preventing gather 602.
