发明所要解决的课题
在专利文献1所记载的尾气净化催化剂中,作为整体基材的材料未使用堇青石而使用本身具有催化剂载体功能和助催化剂功能的材料,从而使堆积密度减小、容易提高整体基材的温度,因而据称能够提高催化剂的暖机性能。
在本说明书中,催化剂的暖机性能是指发动机起动后直至能够发挥出作为催化剂的充分的尾气净化性能为止的时间的长短,暖机性能优异是指发动机起动后能够在短时间内充分发挥出尾气净化性能。
此处,在专利文献1所记载的尾气净化催化剂中,构成整体基材的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和θ相的氧化铝粒子的热膨胀系数均很大,因而在尾气净化催化剂的容积增大等的使用条件下整体基材可能会发生破损。
本发明是为了解决上述的问题而进行的,其目的在于提供一种耐热冲击性高的蜂窝结构体和该蜂窝结构体的制造方法。
解决课题的手段
用于实现上述目的的本发明的蜂窝结构体具备隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝烧制体,该蜂窝结构体的特征在于,上述蜂窝烧制体由包含氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子的挤出成型体构成;上述氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子的平均粒径为1~50μm;上述氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子包含裂纹存在粒子。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,由包含氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子的挤出成型体构成蜂窝烧制体。并且,构成蜂窝烧制体的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子包含裂纹存在粒子。
裂纹存在粒子是在粒子内形成有裂纹的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子。
氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子是热膨胀系数大的粒子,但在粒子内形成有裂纹时,氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子即使热膨胀或热收缩,粒子内的裂纹也能够吸收该热膨胀或热收缩。其结果,可防止蜂窝结构体整体因热冲击而发生破损,能够制成耐热冲击性高的蜂窝结构体。
氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子是否包含裂纹存在粒子可以通过观察蜂窝烧制体的电子显微镜图像来确认。在蜂窝烧制体的电子显微镜图像中,若在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物的10个粒子中有3个以上的粒子观察到裂纹,则判断氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子包含裂纹存在粒子。
另外,氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子的平均粒径也可以通过观察蜂窝烧制体的电子显微镜图像来确认。
氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子的平均粒径为1~50μm时,在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中容易形成裂纹。
在本发明的蜂窝结构体中,上述氧化铝粒子优选为θ相的氧化铝粒子。
通过将θ相的氧化铝粒子作为氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物的间隔材使用,能够增大隔壁中的细孔的尺寸,因而气体容易扩散到隔壁的内部。此外,通过使氧化铝粒子为θ相,能够抑制尾气中的氧化铝的相变,因而能够提高耐热性。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,上述蜂窝结构体的长度相对于直径之比(长度/直径)优选为0.5~0.9。
通过使蜂窝结构体的长度/直径之比为1以下,能够减小蜂窝结构体内的温度分布,因而能够进一步提高蜂窝结构体的耐热冲击性。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,上述蜂窝结构体的直径优选为130mm以下。
通过使蜂窝结构体的直径为130mm以下,能够减小蜂窝结构体内的温度分布,因而能够进一步提高蜂窝结构体的耐热冲击性。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,优选在上述蜂窝烧制体中负载有贵金属。
对于由包含氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子的挤出成型体构成的蜂窝烧制体来说,由于其本身具有催化剂载体功能和助催化剂功能,因而能够使贵金属直接负载于蜂窝烧制体中。进而,通过使贵金属直接负载于蜂窝烧制体中,蜂窝结构体的温度容易上升,因而能够从初期起提高尾气净化性能。
本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法是具备隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝烧制体的蜂窝结构体的制造方法,其特征在于,其包括下述工序:热处理工序,对氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子在700~1000℃反复在还原气氛和氧化气氛进行1~24小时的热处理,在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中的至少一部分粒子形成裂纹;成型工序,通过对包含氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子的原料糊料进行成型而制作出隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝成型体,该氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子包含形成有裂纹的裂纹存在粒子;以及烧制工序,通过对上述蜂窝成型体进行烧制而制作出蜂窝烧制体。
在上述蜂窝结构体的制造方法中,在蜂窝成型体的成型前对氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子在700~1000℃反复在还原气氛和氧化气氛进行1~24小时的热处理,在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中的至少一部分粒子形成裂纹。
并且,在使用包含裂纹存在粒子的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子制作蜂窝烧制体时,作为原料使用的裂纹存在粒子以具有裂纹的状态残留在蜂窝烧制体中。其结果,能够制造出耐热冲击性高的蜂窝结构体。
还原气氛是指能够从氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中释放出氧的气氛,例如为一氧化碳0.5vol%、氧0vol%、氮99.5vol%的气氛。氧化气氛是指能够使氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子吸收氧的气氛,例如为氧5vol%、氮95vol%的气氛。
在本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法中,优选进一步包含在上述蜂窝烧制体中负载贵金属的负载工序。
通过在蜂窝烧制体中负载贵金属,能够将蜂窝结构体作为尾气净化用的蜂窝催化剂使用。

具体实施方式
[蜂窝结构体]
首先对本发明的蜂窝结构体进行说明。
本发明的蜂窝结构体具备隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝烧制体。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,蜂窝烧制体由包含氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子(以下也称为CZ粒子)和氧化铝粒子的挤出成型体构成。如下文所述,蜂窝烧制体是通过将包含CZ粒子和氧化铝粒子的原料糊料挤出成型后进行烧制而制作出的。
本发明的蜂窝结构体具有上述成分这一点可以通过X射线衍射(XRD)进行确认。
本发明的蜂窝结构体可以具备单一的蜂窝烧制体,也可以具备2个以上的蜂窝烧制体,2个以上的蜂窝烧制体可以利用接合剂层进行结合。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,在蜂窝烧制体的外周面可以形成有外周涂层。
图1是示意性示出本发明的蜂窝结构体的一例的立体图。
图1所示的蜂窝结构体10具备单一的蜂窝烧制体11,该蜂窝烧制体11中,2个以上的贯通孔11a隔着隔壁11b在长度方向并列设置。蜂窝烧制体11包含CZ粒子和氧化铝粒子,具有挤出成型体的形状。
另外,CZ粒子包含裂纹存在粒子。
图2是包含裂纹存在粒子的蜂窝烧制体的电子显微镜图像。由该图像可知,一部分粒子中存在有裂纹。在1个粒子中可以存在有2个以上的裂纹。
在蜂窝烧制体的电子显微镜图像中,若在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物的10个粒子中有3个以上的粒子观察到裂纹,则判断氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子包含裂纹存在粒子。
使用包含裂纹存在粒子的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子作为用于制造蜂窝烧制体的原料时,作为原料使用的裂纹存在粒子以具有裂纹的状态残留在蜂窝烧制体中。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,从提高耐热冲击性的方面出发,构成蜂窝烧制体的CZ粒子的平均粒径为1~50μm。另外,CZ粒子的平均粒径优选为1~30μm。
CZ粒子的平均粒径为1~50μm时,在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中容易形成裂纹。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,对构成蜂窝烧制体的氧化铝粒子的平均粒径没有特别限定,从提高气体净化性能和暖机性能的方面考虑,优选为1~10μm、更优选为1~5μm。
构成蜂窝烧制体的CZ粒子和氧化铝粒子的平均粒径可以使用扫描型电子显微镜(SEM,Hitachi High-Technologies Co.制造,S-4800),通过拍摄蜂窝烧制体的SEM照片来求出。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,CZ粒子的含有比例优选为35~65重量%。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,氧化铝粒子的含有比例优选为15~35重量%。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,构成CZ粒子的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物是作为尾气净化催化剂的助催化剂(储氧材料)使用的材料。氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物中,优选氧化铈和氧化锆形成固溶体。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物可以进一步包含铈以外的稀土元素。作为稀土元素,可以举出钪(Sc)、钇(Y)、镧(La)、镨(Pr)、钕(Nd)、钐(Sm)、钆(Gd)、铽(Tb)、镝(Dy)、镱(Yb)、镥(Lu)等。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物优选包含30重量%以上的氧化铈、更优选包含40重量%以上的氧化铈,另一方面,氧化铈优选包含90重量%以下、更优选包含80重量%以下。另外,氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物优选包含60重量%以下的氧化锆、更优选包含50重量%以下的氧化锆。这样的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物的热容量小,因而蜂窝结构体的温度容易上升,能够提高暖机性能。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,对上述氧化铝粒子的种类没有特别限定,优选为θ相的氧化铝粒子(以下也称为θ-氧化铝粒子)。
通过将θ相的氧化铝粒子作为氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物的间隔材使用,能够增大隔壁中的细孔的尺寸,因而气体容易扩散到隔壁的内部。此外,通过使氧化铝粒子为θ相,能够抑制尾气中的氧化铝的相变,因而能够提高耐热性。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,蜂窝烧制体优选包含在制造时作为无机粘结剂使用的无机粒子,更优选包含源自勃姆石的γ-氧化铝粒子。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,蜂窝烧制体优选包含无机纤维、更优选包含α-氧化铝纤维。
蜂窝烧制体包含α-氧化铝纤维等无机纤维时,能够改善蜂窝结构体的机械特性。
需要说明的是,无机纤维是指长径比为5以上的材料,无机粒子是指长径比小于5的材料。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,蜂窝结构体的长度相对于直径之比(长度/直径)优选为0.5~0.9、更优选为0.6~0.8。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,蜂窝结构体的直径优选为130mm以下、更优选为125mm以下。另外,蜂窝结构体的直径优选为85mm以上。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,蜂窝结构体的长度优选为65~120mm、更优选为70~110mm。
作为本发明的蜂窝结构体的形状,并不限于圆柱状,可以举出棱柱状、椭圆柱状、长圆柱状、经圆倒角的棱柱状(例如经圆倒角的三棱柱状)等。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,优选蜂窝烧制体的隔壁的厚度均匀。具体地说,蜂窝烧制体的隔壁的厚度优选为0.05~0.50mm、更优选为0.10~0.30mm。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,作为蜂窝烧制体的贯通孔的形状,并不限于四棱柱状,还可以举出三棱柱状、六棱柱状等。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,蜂窝烧制体的垂直于长度方向的截面的贯通孔的密度优选为31~155个/cm2。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,蜂窝烧制体的气孔率优选为40~70%。通过使蜂窝烧制体的气孔率为上述范围,能够在维持蜂窝结构体的强度的同时发挥出较高的尾气净化性能。
蜂窝烧制体的气孔率可以通过压汞法在接触角130°、表面张力485mN/m的条件下进行测定。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,在蜂窝烧制体的外周面形成有外周涂层的情况下,外周涂层的厚度优选为0.1~2.0mm。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,优选在蜂窝烧制体负载有贵金属。
作为贵金属,可以举出例如铂、钯、铑等铂族金属。
本发明的蜂窝结构体中,贵金属的负载量优选为0.1~15g/L、更优选为0.5~10g/L。
本说明书中,贵金属的负载量是指蜂窝结构体的单位表观体积的贵金属的重量。需要说明的是,蜂窝结构体的表观体积是包含空隙体积的体积,其包含外周涂层和/或粘接层的体积。
[蜂窝结构体的制造方法]
接下来对本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法进行说明。
本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法是具备隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝烧制体的蜂窝结构体的制造方法,其特征在于,其包括下述工序:热处理工序,对氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子在700~1000℃进行1~24小时的反复还原气氛和氧化气氛的热处理,在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中的至少一部分粒子中形成裂纹;成型工序,通过对包含氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子原料糊料进行成型而制作出隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝成型体,该氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子包含形成有裂纹的裂纹存在粒子;以及烧制工序,通过对上述蜂窝成型体进行烧制而制作出蜂窝烧制体。
(热处理工序)
首先进行用于形成包含裂纹存在粒子的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子的热处理工序。
氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子可以如下制备:例如在溶解有铈盐(硝酸铈等)和锆盐(硝酸氧锆等)的水溶液中加入氨水生成共沉淀,使所得到的沉淀物干燥,之后在400~500℃烧制5小时左右,从而制备出氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物。
对于所制备出的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物,可以通过在700~1000℃进行1~24小时的反复还原气氛和氧化气氛的热处理,而在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中的至少一部分粒子中形成裂纹。形成有裂纹的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子成为裂纹存在粒子。
还原气氛是指能够从氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中释放出氧的气氛。例如为一氧化碳0.3~0.7vol%、氧0vol%、氮99.3~99.7vol%的气氛,进而作为具体例,为一氧化碳0.5vol%、氧0vol%、氮99.5vol%的气氛。
氧化气氛是指能够使氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子吸收氧的气氛。例如为氧1~10vol%、氮90~99vol%的气氛,进而作为具体例,为氧5vol%、氮95vol%的气氛。
(成型工序)
在成型工序中,首先制备包含含裂纹存在粒子的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子的原料糊料。
关于包含裂纹存在粒子的氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子的种类、平均粒径等,由于在[蜂窝结构体]项中已经进行了说明,因而省略详细说明。
作为制备原料糊料时使用的其他原料,可以举出无机纤维、无机粘结剂、有机粘结剂、造孔剂、成型助剂、分散介质等。
作为构成无机纤维的材料没有特别限定,可以举出例如氧化铝、氧化硅、碳化硅、硅铝、玻璃、钛酸钾、硼酸铝等,也可以合用两种以上。这些之中,优选氧化铝纤维、特别优选α-氧化铝纤维。
无机纤维的长径比优选为5~300、更优选为10~200、进一步优选为10~100。
作为无机粘结剂没有特别限定,可以举出氧化铝溶胶、硅溶胶、二氧化钛溶胶、水玻璃、海泡石、凹凸棒石、勃姆石等中包含的固体成分。这些无机粘结剂也可以合用两种以上。
无机粘结剂中,优选勃姆石。勃姆石是由AlOOH的组成表示的氧化铝一水合物,由于在水等介质中分散良好,因而优选使用勃姆石作为无机粘结剂。
作为有机粘结剂没有特别限定,可以举出甲基纤维素、羧甲基纤维素、羟乙基纤维素、聚乙二醇、酚树脂、环氧树脂等,也可以合用两种以上。
作为造孔剂没有特别限定,可以举出例如丙烯酸类树脂、焦炭、淀粉等。在本发明中,优选使用丙烯酸类树脂、焦炭和淀粉中的两种以上。
造孔剂是指在制造烧制体时为了向烧制体的内部导入气孔而使用的试剂。
作为成型助剂没有特别限定,可以举出乙二醇、糊精、脂肪酸、脂肪酸皂、多元醇等,也可以合用两种以上。
作为分散介质没有特别限定,可以举出水、苯等有机溶剂、甲醇等醇等,也可以合用两种以上。
作为上述原料使用CZ粒子、氧化铝粒子、α-氧化铝纤维和勃姆石时,关于这些原料的混合比例,相对于原料中的在烧制工序后残留的总固体成分,优选CZ粒子:40~60重量%、氧化铝粒子:15~35重量%、α-氧化铝纤维:5~15重量%、勃姆石:10~20重量%。
在制备原料糊料时,优选进行混合混炼,可以使用混合器、超微磨碎机等进行混合,也可以使用捏合机等进行混炼。
通过在利用上述方法制备出原料糊料后对原料糊料进行成型,而制作出隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝成型体。
具体地说,通过使用上述原料糊料进行挤出成型,制作出蜂窝成型体。即,使上述糊料通过规定形状的模具,从而形成具有规定形状的贯通孔的蜂窝成型体的连续体,将其切割成规定的长度,从而得到蜂窝成型体。
接着,优选使用微波干燥机、热风干燥机、高频干燥机、减压干燥机、真空干燥机、冷冻干燥机等干燥机,对蜂窝成型体进行干燥,制作出蜂窝干燥体。
在本说明书中,也将进行烧制工序之前的蜂窝成型体和蜂窝干燥体统称为蜂窝成型体。
(烧制工序)
在本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法中,在烧制工序中,通过对蜂窝成型体进行烧制而制作出蜂窝烧制体。需要说明的是,由于该工序进行蜂窝成型体的脱脂和烧制,因而也可以称为“脱脂-烧制工序”,为方便起见称为“烧制工序”。
烧制工序的温度优选为800~1300℃、更优选为900~1200℃。另外,烧制工序的时间优选为1~24小时、更优选为3~18小时。对烧制工序的气氛没有特别限定,优选氧浓度为1~20体积%。
通过以上的工序能够制造出蜂窝结构体。
(负载工序)
本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法优选进一步包含在上述蜂窝烧制体中负载贵金属的负载工序。
作为在蜂窝烧制体中负载贵金属的方法,可以举出例如将蜂窝烧制体或蜂窝结构体浸渍在包含贵金属粒子和/或络合物的溶液中,之后拉起并进行加热的方法等。
在蜂窝结构体具备外周涂层的情况下,可以在形成外周涂层之前的蜂窝烧制体中负载贵金属,也可以在形成了外周涂层之后的蜂窝烧制体或蜂窝结构体中负载贵金属。另外,在蜂窝结构体具备粘接层的情况下,可以在形成粘接层之前的蜂窝烧制体中负载贵金属,也可以在形成了粘接层之后的蜂窝烧制体或蜂窝结构体中负载贵金属。
在本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法中,在负载工序中负载的贵金属的负载量优选为0.1~15g/L、更优选为0.5~10g/L。
(其他工序)
在本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法中,在蜂窝烧制体的外周面形成外周涂层的情况下,可以在蜂窝烧制体的除两端面以外的外周面涂布外周涂层用糊料,之后进行干燥固化,从而形成外周涂层。作为外周涂层用糊料,可以举出与原料糊料相同组成的材料。
在本发明的蜂窝结构体的制造方法中,2个以上的蜂窝烧制体藉由粘接层粘接而成的蜂窝结构体可以如下制作出:在2个以上的蜂窝烧制体的除两端面以外的外周面涂布粘接层用糊料、进行粘接,之后进行干燥固化,由此制作出该蜂窝结构体。作为粘接层用糊料,可以举出与原料糊料相同组成的材料。
(实施例)
以下示出更具体公开本发明的实施例。需要说明的是,本发明并不仅限于以下的实施例。
[蜂窝烧制体的制作]
(实施例1)
将CZ粒子(平均粒径:30μm)置于磁性皿中,进行下述的热处理工序:将该CZ粒子在搅拌下在800℃一边交替进行氧化气氛(一氧化碳0vol%、氧5vol%、氮95vol%)1分钟、还原气氛(一氧化碳0.5vol%、氧0vol%、氮99.5vol%)1分钟的气体更换,一边进行10小时的加热。
将经过热处理工序后的CZ粒子26.4重量%、θ-氧化铝粒子(平均粒径:2μm)13.2重量%、α-氧化铝纤维(平均纤维径:3μm、平均纤维长:60μm)5.3重量%、作为无机粘结剂的勃姆石11.3重量%、作为有机粘结剂的甲基纤维素5.3重量%、作为造孔剂的丙烯酸类树脂2.1重量%、同样作为造孔剂的焦炭2.6重量%、作为成型助剂的表面活性剂聚氧乙烯油基醚4.2重量%以及离子交换水29.6重量%进行混合混炼,制备出原料糊料。
使用挤出成型机对原料糊料进行挤出成型,制作出蜂窝成型体。之后使用减压微波干燥机将蜂窝成型体在输出功率1.74kW、减压6.7kPa的条件下干燥12分钟后,在1100℃进行10小时脱脂、烧制,由此制作出蜂窝烧制体(蜂窝结构体)。蜂窝烧制体是直径为103mm、长度为80mm的圆柱状,贯通孔的密度为77.5个/cm2(500cpsi)、隔壁的厚度为0.127mm(5mil)。
(比较例1)
除了不对CZ粒子(平均粒径:30μm)进行热处理工序而进行使用以外,与实施例1同样地制作蜂窝烧制体。
[蜂窝烧制体的评价]
(1)CZ粒子的观察
对通过上述工序制造出的实施例1和比较例1的蜂窝烧制体的电子显微镜图像进行观察,判断CZ粒子是否产生裂纹。其结果,实施例1的蜂窝烧制体中,CZ粒子包含裂纹存在粒子,但在比较例1的蜂窝烧制体中,CZ粒子不包含裂纹存在粒子。
图2所示的电子显微镜图像是实施例1中制造出的包含裂纹存在粒子的蜂窝烧制体的电子显微镜图像。
(2)耐热冲击性
将通过上述工序制造出的实施例1和比较例1的蜂窝烧制体隔着氧化铝制垫封入金属壳内,交替通入用气体燃烧器加热后的空气和室温的空气。按照蜂窝烧制体的中心的温度交替地为200℃和950℃的方式重复进行100次循环的冷却和加热,进行热循环试验。

Claims (7)
1.一种蜂窝结构体,其具备隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝烧制体,该蜂窝结构体的特征在于,
所述蜂窝烧制体由包含氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子的挤出成型体构成,
所述氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子的平均粒径为1μm~50μm,
所述氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子包含裂纹存在粒子。
2.如权利要求1所述的蜂窝结构体,其中,所述氧化铝粒子为θ相的氧化铝粒子。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的蜂窝结构体,其中,所述蜂窝结构体的长度相对于直径之比、即长度/直径为0.5~0.9。
4.如权利要求1~3中任一项所述的蜂窝结构体,其中,所述蜂窝结构体的直径为130mm以下。
5.如权利要求1~4中任一项所述的蜂窝结构体,其中,在所述蜂窝烧制体中负载有贵金属。
6.一种蜂窝结构体的制造方法,该蜂窝结构体具备隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝烧制体,该制造方法的特征在于,其包括下述工序:
热处理工序,在该工序中,对氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子在700℃~1000℃反复在还原气氛和氧化气氛进行1小时~24小时的热处理,在氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子中的至少一部分粒子中形成裂纹,
成型工序,在该工序中,通过对包含氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子和氧化铝粒子的原料糊料进行成型而制作出隔着隔壁在长度方向并列设置有2个以上贯通孔的蜂窝成型体,所述氧化铈-氧化锆复合氧化物粒子包含形成有裂纹的裂纹存在粒子,以及
烧制工序,在该工序中,通过对所述蜂窝成型体进行烧制而制作出蜂窝烧制体。
7.如权利要求6所述的蜂窝结构体的制造方法,其中,所述方法进一步包括在所述蜂窝烧制体中负载贵金属的负载工序。
