Abstract
本发明公开了一种耐高温气凝胶的制备方法,通过在溶胶中添加耐高温粉体或晶须,实现溶胶与耐高温粉体或晶须原位复合,经老化、改性、干燥后,获得到耐高温气凝胶。本发明还公布了一种气凝胶型多孔陶瓷的制备方法,将上述耐高温气凝胶进行烧结即可获得保留有气凝胶孔洞结构的多孔陶瓷。本发明制备的耐高温气凝胶和气凝胶型多孔陶瓷可以承受1000℃到1800℃以上的高温,而保持纳米孔洞结构不坍塌,具有较高的孔隙率和强度,且孔径从微孔到大孔可调,除用作超级保温材料,还可以广泛应用于净化分离、吸附、化工催化载体、吸声减震、敏感元件、电化学等领域。本发明工艺简单易行,适合规模化生产,提升了气凝胶耐高温性能和应用领域。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种气凝胶和多孔陶瓷的制备方法,特别涉及一种耐高温气凝胶及气凝胶型多孔陶瓷的制备方法。
背景技术
多孔陶瓷又被称为微孔陶瓷、泡沫陶瓷,具有三维立体网络骨架结构,于1978年首先在美国研制成功的。按孔径大小多孔陶瓷可分为:微孔陶瓷(孔径小于2nm)、介孔陶瓷(孔径介于2~50nm)和大孔陶瓷(孔径大于50nm)。多孔陶瓷首要特征是其多孔特性,制备的关键和难点是形成多孔结构。根据使用目的和对材料性能的要求不同,近年逐渐开发出许多不同的制备技术。其中应用比较成功,研究比较活跃的有:添加造孔剂工艺,颗粒堆积成型工艺,发泡工艺,有机泡沫浸渍工艺,溶胶凝胶工艺等传统制备工艺及孔梯度制备方法、离子交换法等新制备工艺。
溶胶凝胶法主要用来制备微孔陶瓷材料,特别是微孔陶瓷薄膜。这种方法一般采用无机盐或醇盐作先驱体,先驱体水解得到溶胶,再在多孔载体上凝结成由MOM键构成的无机聚合物凝胶膜。溶胶凝胶工艺可以制备孔径在纳米级、气孔分布均匀的多孔陶瓷薄膜,其最大的优越性在于可以方便地得到多种组成地复合膜,因此正成为无机分离膜制备领域工艺中最活跃地研究领域,引起了国内外众多研究人员的重视。奚红霞等采用异丙醇铝为原料,用溶胶凝胶技术制备出稳定性好、无针孔、无缺陷的Al2O3中孔膜,最小孔径可达8nm。樊栓狮等以正硅酸乙酯为原料用溶胶-凝胶技术制备出3nm孔径的二氧化硅陶瓷膜。
为制备大孔陶瓷,专利CN2009100718459公布了一种陶瓷气凝胶及通过凝胶注模成型制备陶瓷气凝胶的方法,将羟甲基丙烯酰胺、烷基丙烯酰胺、丙烯酸等有机单体和聚(乙烯基乙二醇)双甲基丙烯酸等交联剂溶于溶剂,再加入陶瓷粉体和分散剂,调节pH值,混匀后得到悬浮液,然后向悬浮液中加入引发剂后搅拌均匀,在浇注模具型腔中进行交联固化,之后经过干燥、排胶、烧结制得陶瓷气凝胶。所得陶瓷气凝胶陶瓷气凝胶气孔率为50%~80%,孔径为微米级,最可几孔径在3μm以下。但是该专利方法中含有较多机物质,其排除机理为受热氧化或分解排除体外,形成孔洞,就会造成在热处理过程中,大量的有机物分解放出热量和气体,冲击骨架结构。
而孔径在20~50nm的多孔陶瓷,鲜有报道。
气凝胶以纳米量级超微颗粒相互聚集构成纳米多孔网络结构,平均孔洞尺寸为20~50nm,密度可低达0.003g/cm3,气孔隙率高达80~99.8%,比表面积可达1000m2/g,耐热温度可达1300~1800℃,室温导热系数可低达0.013w/(m·k),是迄今为止最轻的固体和绝热性能最好的材料。但是气凝胶强度和韧性等力学性能一般较差,在外力作用下气孔易坍塌破碎。在一定温度下进行热处理可以较好地改善气凝胶的力学性能。但是热处理温度一般不超过500℃,如果热处理温度过高,纳米级孔洞将会发生坍塌而导致气凝胶完全致密化。因此造成气凝胶的使用温度不高,即使经过热处理,它的使用温度也很难超过1000℃。
为克服原有多孔陶瓷制备技术的不足,以及改善原有气凝胶材料的耐高温性能,特提出本发明方案。
发明内容
为克服传统气凝胶高温下孔洞塌落,本发明提出了一种耐高温气凝胶的制备方法,制备过程包括以下步骤:
(1)向溶胶中添加耐高温粉体或晶须,混合均匀制得前驱体;
(2)用酸或碱调节前驱体的PH值,直接形成凝胶,或浸润纤维后形成凝胶;
(3)对凝胶进行老化;
(4)对凝胶进行溶剂置换或改性;
(5)对凝胶进行干燥,获得气凝胶。
在上述发明的基础上,本发明进一步提出了一种气凝胶型多孔陶瓷的制备方法,制备过程包括以下步骤:
(1)向溶胶中添加耐高温粉体或晶须,混合均匀制得前驱体;
(2)用酸或碱调节前驱体的PH值,直接形成凝胶,或浸润纤维后形成凝胶;
(3)对凝胶进行老化;
(4)对凝胶进行溶剂置换或改性;
(5)对凝胶进行干燥,获得气凝胶;
(6)对气凝胶进行烧结,获得气凝胶型多孔陶瓷。
步骤(1)所述的溶胶包括氧化硅溶胶、氧化铝溶胶、氧化锆溶胶、氧化钛溶胶、氧化镁溶胶、氧化铜溶胶、氧化铁溶胶、氧化钴溶胶、氧化镍溶胶、氧化锰溶胶、氧化锌溶胶、氧化锡溶胶、氧化镉溶胶、氧化铬溶胶、氧化铌溶胶、氧化钽溶胶、氧化铈溶胶、氧化钒溶胶、氧化钼溶胶、氧化钨溶胶、氧化铪溶胶、氧化钍溶胶、氧化铍溶胶、氧化钇溶胶、氧化钪溶胶、氧化铈溶胶、氧化锶溶胶、氧化铟溶胶、氧化镓溶胶、氧化铋溶胶、氧化镧溶胶、氧化镱溶胶、氧化铕溶胶、氧化钕溶胶、氧化铽溶胶、氧化镨溶胶、氧化钐溶胶、酚醛溶胶中的一种或几种。
步骤(1)所述的耐高温粉体或晶须,包括耐高温氧化物、耐高温复合氧化物、耐高温碳化物、耐高温氮化物、耐高温硼化物、耐高温硅化物、耐高温金属中一种或几种。
所述的耐高温氧化物包括氧化硅、氧化铝、氧化锆、氧化钛、氧化铁、氧化钡、氧化钴、氧化镍、氧化锰、氧化锌、氧化镁、氧化钙、氧化铌、氧化钽、氧化铈、氧化钒、氧化钼、氧化钨、氧化铍、氧化钇、氧化镧、氧化镱、氧化铪、氧化钍中的一种或几种。
所述的耐高温复合氧化物包括硅酸铝、硅酸锆、硅酸钙、硅酸镁、硅酸锌锆、硅酸钾铝、钛酸铝、钛酸钡、钛酸钙、钛酸镁、铝酸钴、铝酸镁、铁酸镁、锆酸镁、铬酸钙、磷酸钙中一种或几种。
所述的耐高温碳化物包括碳化硅、碳化钛、碳化锆、碳化硼、碳化铬、碳化铁、碳化锰、碳化钨、碳化钼、碳化钽、碳化铌、碳化铪中的一种或几种。

步骤(1)所述的溶胶由对应元素的水溶性盐或有机化合物水解制得或直接从市场购买,溶胶的固含量为5~40%wt,前驱体中耐高温粉体或晶须与溶胶的比例为质量比1:1~200,混合的方式包括机械搅拌或超声波分散。
步骤(5)所述的干燥,包括超临界干燥、常压干燥或真空干燥中的一种或几种。
步骤(6)所述的烧结的温度为900℃~2500℃,烧结氛围包括真空、空气、惰性气体中一种,烧结时间为1~20h。
步骤(2)~(5)及步骤(6),可以采用射频辐射加速工艺过程,射频辐射的频率为300KHz~300GHz,功率为250W~1000kW。
本发明中,溶胶起到以下几方面的作用:一是分散作用,耐高温粉体或晶须加入溶胶中,通过控制溶胶的浓度、PH值,耐高温粉体或晶须的加入量,可以获得不同前驱体粘度,经搅拌或超声波分散后,耐高温粉体或晶须被溶胶包裹并均匀分散在溶胶中而不下沉;二是原位模板的作用,溶胶在凝胶的过程中,溶胶粒子团聚构成三维网络结构,耐高温粉体或晶须也共同参与了凝胶骨架结构的构建,再经老化、改性、干燥,成为气凝胶;三是助熔作用,当所得气凝胶处在高温环境或对所得气凝胶进行烧结时,由溶胶粒子构建的凝胶骨架纳米粒子将由非晶体转变为液相再向晶体转变,在耐高温粉体或晶须的表面发生紧密结合并保持凝胶孔洞结构部塌落,从而提升了气凝胶耐高温性能,降低了气凝胶型陶瓷的烧结温度,节省了烧结时间和能源。
本发明中耐高温粉体或晶须,在气凝胶中起到两方面的作用,一是作为高温下气凝胶骨架的增强材料,当温度较高时,气凝胶的骨架中的无定型非晶纳米颗粒将向晶体纳米材料转变,在转变过程中往往伴随着骨架的塌落,甚至孔洞完全消失称为致密体,而耐高温粉体或晶须的存在可以补强气凝胶骨架有效避免气凝胶骨架的塌落;二是,高温环境下,气凝胶骨架的纳米颗粒从非晶体转化为晶体的过程中,如高温粉体或晶须的组分或晶型与凝胶最终转发的晶体晶型一样或相近,就可以起到晶核的作用诱导转化,加速转化过程,并支撑纳米孔骨架不塌落。
本发明先制备出耐高温粉体或晶须增强的气凝胶,再将气凝胶烧结制备气凝胶型多孔陶瓷,一方面充分利用气凝胶孔径可调的优势,可以制备出从微孔到大孔的不同孔径要求的多孔陶瓷;另一方面避免了传统溶胶-凝胶法从凝胶直接烧结陶瓷因表面张力和毛细管力,不可避免的出现孔洞塌落和凝胶骨架致密化的问题。因而本发明对提高气凝胶的耐高温性能及制备高性能的多孔陶瓷具有重要的意义。
有益效果
与现有技术相比,本发明一种耐高温气凝胶及气凝胶型多孔陶瓷的制备方法具有以下显著的效果。
(1)本发明溶胶与耐高温粉体或晶须原位复合,可以获得耐1000~1800高温的气凝胶材料,可应用于航天飞行器、装甲车、发动机、炼化和冶金炉体等设备的高温防护。
(2)本发明溶胶与耐高温粉体或晶须原位复合,可以获得孔径可调、高孔隙率、高比表面积等气凝胶结构特性,还具有高强度、不掉粉的高性能气凝胶型陶瓷,从而可以广泛应用于气体液体过滤、净化分离、吸附、化工催化载体、离子交换、吸声减震、敏感元件、隔膜材料、量子器件、光电材料、微电极、电化学电池等领域,也可用作超级保温材料。
(3)本发明溶胶与耐高温粉体或晶须原位复合,可以在较低温度下完成气凝胶陶瓷烧结,降低能耗提升效率。
(4)本发明工艺简单易行,适合规模化生产和技术推广。

根据专利CN2014102703529的方法制备硅溶胶,硅溶胶的固含量为8%,PH值为3.0,取硅溶胶1000g,粒径为2um以下的氧化硅粉30g,粒径为5um以下的氮化硅粉40g,以1200r/min机械搅拌5分钟,再超声波分散3分钟得前驱体,之后边机械搅拌前驱体边滴加0.5mol/L的氨水将PH值调到4.6,静止10分钟后凝胶;将凝胶在60℃水浴中老化10h,再用六甲基二硅氮烷置换改性,置换改性过程中用频率2450MHz、功率500w的射频进行射频辐射,27min后完成改性,将凝胶置于红外灯下常压干燥,20min后完成干燥,得到耐高温气凝胶。该耐高温气凝胶密度160kg/m3,平均孔径42nm,孔隙率86%,在1000℃的温度下5h,体积收缩率6%。取上述耐高温气凝胶30g,置于马弗炉中,在1100℃下烧结2h得气凝胶型多孔陶瓷。该气凝胶型多孔陶瓷密度170kg/m3,平均孔径34nm,孔隙率72%。
实施例2。
根据专利CN2015102953891的方法制备氧化硅-氧化锆溶胶,溶胶的固含量为10%,PH值为3.5,取溶胶1000g,粒径为1um以下的氧化钛粉35g,粒径为3um以下的硅酸锆粉40g,以1500r/min机械搅拌10分钟,得前驱体;之后边机械搅拌前驱体边滴加0.5mol/L的氨水将PH值调到4.7,浸润氧化铝纤维9分钟后凝胶。将凝胶在60℃下用频率2450MHz、功率500w的射频进行射频辐射,30min后完成老化,再用三甲基氯硅烷在65℃下置换改性2h,之后将凝胶置于真空干燥箱升温到80℃进行干燥,40min后完成干燥,得到耐高温气凝胶。该耐高温气凝胶密度270kg/m3,平均孔径30nm,孔隙率78%,在1000℃的温度下5h,体积收缩率3%。取上述耐高温气凝胶30g,置于马弗炉中,在1500℃下烧结4h得气凝胶型多孔陶瓷。该气凝胶型多孔陶瓷密度280kg/m3,平均孔径23nm,孔隙率65%。
实施例3。
将129.59g氯化镍溶于500g乙醇浓度为80%的乙醇与水的混合物,边搅拌边加入0.2g聚丙烯酸、0.3g环氧丙烷、粒径为1um以下的氧化镍粉40g,粒径为2um以下的硼化钼粉10g,以1600r/min机械搅拌10分钟,得前驱体;边搅拌边向前驱体加入滴加0.5mol/L的氨水将PH值调到5.0,用频率2450MHz、功率300w的射频进行射频辐射,5min后凝胶;将凝胶在55℃的水浴中老化24h,再用无水乙醇进行溶剂置换,之后进行C02超临界干燥,干燥温度为50℃,压力为15MPa,4h后得耐高温气凝胶。该耐高温气凝胶密度310kg/m3,平均孔径15nm,孔隙率56%,在1000℃的温度下5h,体积收缩率3%。取上述耐高温气凝胶30g,置于马弗炉中,在1600℃下烧结3h得气凝胶型多孔陶瓷。该气凝胶型多孔陶瓷密度316kg/m3,平均孔径10nm,孔隙率48%。
实施例4。
根据专利CN2015102953891的方法制备氧化硅-氧化镧-氧化钇溶胶,溶胶的固含量为6%,PH值为3.2,取溶胶1000g,粒径为0.5um以下的氧化钇粉35g,粒径为4um以下的钨粉35g,以1800r/min机械搅拌10分钟,得前驱体;之后边机械搅拌前驱体边滴加0.5mol/L的氨水将PH值调到4.8,浸润碳化硅纤维8分钟后凝胶;将凝胶在60℃下用频率2450MHz、功率500w的射频进行射频辐射,30min后完成老化,再用正己烷在45℃下溶剂置换改性4h,之后将凝胶置于真空干燥箱升温到80℃进行干燥,同时用频率2450MHz、功率1200w的射频进行射频辐射,16min干燥完成,得耐高温气凝胶。该耐高温气凝胶密度150kg/m3,平均孔径55nm,孔隙率92%,在1000℃的温度下5h,体积收缩率8%。取上述耐高温气凝胶30g,置于马弗炉中,在1600℃下烧结3h得气凝胶型多孔陶瓷。该气凝胶型多孔陶瓷密度160kg/m3,平均孔径40nm,孔隙率80%。

Claims (10)
1.一种耐高温气凝胶的制备方法,其特征是,制备过程包括以下步骤:
(1)向溶胶中添加耐高温粉体或晶须,混合均匀制得前驱体;
(2)用酸或碱调节前驱体的PH值,直接形成凝胶,或浸润纤维后形成凝胶;
(3)对凝胶进行老化;
(4)对凝胶进行溶剂置换或改性;
(5)对凝胶进行干燥,获得气凝胶。
2.一种气凝胶型多孔陶瓷的制备方法,其特征是,制备过程包括以下步骤:
(1)向溶胶中添加耐高温粉体或晶须,混合均匀制得前驱体;
(2)用酸或碱调节前驱体的PH值,直接形成凝胶,或浸润纤维后形成凝胶;
(3)对凝胶进行老化;
(4)对凝胶进行溶剂置换或改性;
(5)对凝胶进行干燥,获得气凝胶;
(6)对气凝胶进行烧结,获得气凝胶型多孔陶瓷。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的制备方法,其特征是,步骤(1)所述的溶胶包括氧化硅溶胶、氧化铝溶胶、氧化锆溶胶、氧化钛溶胶、氧化镁溶胶、氧化铜溶胶、氧化铁溶胶、氧化钴溶胶、氧化镍溶胶、氧化锰溶胶、氧化锌溶胶、氧化锡溶胶、氧化镉溶胶、氧化铬溶胶、氧化铌溶胶、氧化钽溶胶、氧化铈溶胶、氧化钒溶胶、氧化钼溶胶、氧化钨溶胶、氧化铪溶胶、氧化钍溶胶、氧化铍溶胶、氧化钇溶胶、氧化钪溶胶、氧化铈溶胶、氧化锶溶胶、氧化铟溶胶、氧化镓溶胶、氧化铋溶胶、氧化镧溶胶、氧化镱溶胶、氧化铕溶胶、氧化钕溶胶、氧化铽溶胶、氧化镨溶胶、氧化钐溶胶、酚醛溶胶中的一种或几种。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的制备方法,其特征是,步骤(1)所述的耐高温粉体或晶须,包括耐高温氧化物、耐高温复合氧化物、耐高温碳化物、耐高温氮化物、耐高温硼化物、耐高温硅化物、耐高温金属中一种或几种。
5.根据权利要求4所述的制备方法,其特征是,所述的耐高温氧化物包括氧化硅、氧化铝、氧化锆、氧化钛、氧化铁、氧化钡、氧化钴、氧化镍、氧化锰、氧化锌、氧化镁、氧化钙、氧化铌、氧化钽、氧化铈、氧化钒、氧化钼、氧化钨、氧化铍、氧化钇、氧化镧、氧化镱、氧化铪、氧化钍中的一种或几种;耐高温复合氧化物包括硅酸铝、硅酸锆、硅酸钙、硅酸镁、硅酸锌锆、硅酸钾铝、钛酸铝、钛酸钡、钛酸钙、钛酸镁、铝酸钴、铝酸镁、铁酸镁、锆酸镁、铬酸钙、磷酸钙中一种或几种;耐高温碳化物包括碳化硅、碳化钛、碳化锆、碳化硼、碳化铬、碳化铁、碳化锰、碳化钨、碳化钼、碳化钽、碳化铌、碳化铪中的一种或几种;氮化硅、氮化铝、氮化钛、氮化锆、氮化铪、氮化硼、氮化铍、氮化钪、氮化镧、氮化钇、氮化铌、氮化钒、氮化钽中的一种或几种;耐高温硼化物包括硼化钴、硼化铬、硼化铪、硼化锰、硼化钼、硼化铌、硼化钽、硼化钒、硼化钛、硼化锆、硼化钙、硼化钨、硼化镧中的一种或几种;耐高温硅化物包括硅化钛、硅化锆、硅化铌、硅化钽、硅化铬、硅化钼、硅化钨中的一种或几种;耐高温金属包括钨、钼、钽、钴、镍、铬、钛、锆、铌、铪中的一种或几种,及上述金属对应的合金。
6.根据权利要求1或2所述的制备方法,其特征是,步骤(2)所述的纤维包括石英纤维、高硅氧纤维、氧化铝纤维、硅酸铝纤维、莫来石纤维、碳化硅纤维、碳化硼纤维、氮化硅纤维、氮化硼纤维、氮化钛纤维、硼纤维、碳纤维、碳纳米管、钨丝、钼丝、钍丝中一种或几种。
7.根据权利要求1或2所述的制备方法,其特征是,步骤(1)所述的溶胶由对应元素的水溶性盐或有机化合物水解制得或直接从市场购买,溶胶的固含量为5~40%wt,前驱体中耐高温粉体或晶须与溶胶的比例为质量比1:1~200,混合的方式包括机械搅拌或超声波分散。
8.根据权利要求1或2所述的制备方法,其特征是,步骤(5)所述的干燥,包括超临界干燥、常压干燥或真空干燥中的一种或几种。
9.根据权利要求2所述的制备方法,其特征是,步骤(6)所述的烧结的温度为900℃~2500℃,烧结氛围包括真空、空气、惰性气体中一种,烧结时间为1~20h。
10.根据权利要求1或2所述的制备方法,其特征是,权利要求1或2步骤(2)~(5)及权利要求2步骤(6),可以采用射频辐射加速工艺过程,射频辐射的频率为300KHz~300GHz,功率为250W~1000kW。
