发明背景
个人卫生吸收制品是本领域已知的。典型的实例包括卫生巾、女性内裤衬里、棉塞、阴唇间制品、成人失禁制品和婴儿尿布。此类制品通常用于吸收和保留由人体分泌的体液以及其它流出物。通常,感觉此类流出物是恶臭且刺鼻的。因此,已开发了用于控制和减少吸收制品中恶臭的方法和材料。为此目的,在吸收制品中已经广泛使用芳香剂材料以及成分如二氧化硅或沸石,所述成分能够捕获某些产生恶臭的分子。

可用于气味控制材料的大多数有机化合物是挥发性的,并且趋于以一定程度挥发,使得它们在商业吸收制品中的量难以控制。制得吸收制品后,有机化合物开始挥发,并且根据其使用前的储存时间和条件,几乎大部分的气味控制材料将挥发,因此不再有效。
密封制品仅解决部分间题,因为与此类吸收制品成本相匹配的密封一般不完美,并且在吸收制品使用期间,还由体温引发总之使得大量挥发性气味控制材料将损失。
相反,在吸收制品载有体液时即在其使用的最后阶段以及其替换期间,气味控制材料是最需要的。
大多数高度挥发性的气味控制材料趋于在制品使用的头几分钟内挥发,例如在制品穿戴过程期间提供宜人的感觉,但是在稍后制品载有恶臭体液时无其它有益效果。
为了更长久的保留挥发性化合物,成功的途径是将挥发性有机化合物掺入到环糊精的包合络合物中(α-环糊精和/或β-环糊精是可用于本文中的环糊精实例)。此类络合物的实例描述于US5580851和WO2008/104960中,但是本发明可使用环糊精与有机化合物的任何包合络合物。这些络合物是非常有效的,因为它们保留了气味控制活性物质,并且在它们被体液润湿时释放出所述活性物质。
环糊精分子的包合络合物一般为精细颗粒物质形式,其通常经由喷雾干燥包含环糊精和有机化合物的溶液来制得。据信,环糊精与有机化合物形成包合络合物,并且当喷雾干燥时,由于与络合的化合物形成的化学键,它们防止有机化合物挥发。当所述物质被润湿时,这些键弱化,并且有机化合物缓慢释放。在某些制造厂,颗粒物质有时由于安全规程而难于处理,所述安全规程要求非常小心地处理细粉,尤其是有机化合物细粉,β-环糊精包合络合物的情况也如此。

发明详述
本文所用术语“吸收制品”非常广义地包括能够接纳和/或吸收和/或包含和/或保留流体和/或流出物,尤其是体液/身体流出物的任何制品。在本发明的上下文中,示例性吸收制品为一次性吸收制品。本文使用术语“一次性的”来描述不准备洗涤、或换句话讲不作为制品再次保存或再次使用的制品(即旨在将它们单次使用后即被丢弃,并且优选被回收、堆肥处理,或换句话讲以与环境相容的方式处理)。根据本发明,典型的一次性吸收制品是尿布、外科手术敷料和伤口敷料以及汗垫、失禁衬垫,以及用于妇女卫生的吸收制品,如卫生巾、女性内裤衬里、棉塞、阴唇间装置等等。适用于本发明的吸收制品包括任何类型的结构,所述结构从单一吸收层至更复杂的多层结构。某些吸收制品包括流体可透过的顶片、可为流体不可透过的和/或可为水蒸汽和/或气体可透过的底片、以及包含于其间的吸收元件,所述吸收元件通常还被称为“吸收芯”或简称为“芯”。

吸收元件可为任何吸收构件,其一般为可压缩的、适形的、对穿着者的皮肤无刺激的,并能吸收和容纳液体如尿液和某些其它身体流出物。吸收元件可制成多种尺寸和形状(例如,矩形、沙漏形、T形、非对称形等),并且可由通常用于一次性套穿衣服和其它吸收制品的多种液体吸收材料制成,如一般称为透气毡的粉碎的木浆。其它合适的吸收材料的实例包括绉纱纤维素填料;包括共成形的熔喷聚合物;化学硬化、改性或交联的纤维素纤维;薄纸,包括薄纸包装材料和薄纸层压材料;吸收泡沫;吸收海绵;超吸收聚合物;吸收胶凝材料;或任何等价材料或材料的组合。吸收元件的构型和构造可以改变(例如,吸收元件可具有变化的厚度区、亲水梯度、超吸收梯度或较低平均密度和较低平均基重采集区;或者可以包括一个或多个层或结构)。此外,吸收元件的尺寸和吸收容量也可改变以适应从婴儿到成人的穿着者。然而,吸收元件的总吸收容量应当与吸收制品的设计载荷和预期用途相适应。
吸收元件可包括其它任选组件。一种此类任选组件为芯包裹物,即部分或完全围绕吸收元件的材料(通常但不总是为非织造材料)。合适的芯包裹物材料包括但不限于纤维素、亲水改性的非织造材料、穿孔薄膜以及它们的组合。
底片可为液体(例如尿液或经液)不可透过的并且可由塑料薄膜制成。在可供选择的实施方案中,底片允许蒸汽从一次性吸收制品逸出;例如,微孔聚乙烯薄膜或非织造物可被用作底片。一种用于本发明的吸收制品底片的合适材料可为具有约0.012mm至约0.051mm厚度的液体不可透过的热塑性薄膜,例如包括聚乙烯或聚丙烯。底片可具有约5g/m2至约35g/m2的基重。然而,应当指出的是,其它柔韧的液体不可透过的材料可供选择地可用作底片。本文中“柔韧性”是指顺从的并且容易适形于穿着者身体的大致形状和轮廓的材料。底片通常邻近吸收芯的面向外侧设置,并且可通过本领域已知的任何适宜的连结部件接合到其上。例如,底片可通过均匀连续的粘合剂层、有图案的粘合剂层或分开的粘合剂线条、螺线或点的阵列被固定到吸收芯上。
当本发明的吸收制品为用于女性卫生的制品如卫生巾、紧身短裤衬里或用于轻微失禁的制品时,其通常通过借助连结部件粘附到内衣的裆区来使用,所述连结部件通常为设置到底片的面向衣服侧上的一层压敏粘合剂,一般称作女性内裤粘固剂。使用前,女性内裤粘固剂由可释放地粘附到其上的释放层保护,当将制品施用到内衣上时,其由使用者去除以暴露粘合剂。如本领域所已知的,释放层可为例如一片硅油纸或通常由聚合物薄膜制成的包裹片,其还可提供用于制品的可释放的一体化包裹物。

有机化合物
如“发明背景”部分中所述,所期望用作气味控制材料组分以用于吸收制品中的一大类成分是有机化合物。尤其是作用于吸收制品使用者气味感受的有机化合物。
此类化合物包括所有芳香剂成分(本领域的技术人员将它们称为香料)以及所有其它有机化合物,所述其它有机化合物传统上不视为“芳香剂材料”,但是在任何使用阶段通过例如提供香味、通过直接或间接与恶臭物质反应(“间接”旨在表示例如有机化合物对产生恶臭物质的微生物具有抗微生物功效)或通过改善来自嗅觉感受器的恶臭感受来直接作用,改善吸收制品的气味。尤其适用于本文的为非传统芳香剂材料的有机化合物列表是均来自The Procter&Gamble Company的专利申请EP1886698、EP1842564和WO2008/104960中所提及的那些。
反应性化合物是指非常有效地与氨反应的那些。氨实际上是体液恶臭的一种组分。例如,由于尿素降解,因此氨以高含量存在于用于吸收尿液的产品中。氨及其衍生物可与醛反应以生成亚胺(根据所谓的席夫碱反应)。
此反应可被酶和/或4-5的弱酸性pH催化。中等酸性要求是羟基中间体能够质子化,从而使水离去所必需的。

在另一个实施方案中,醛可选自己基肉桂醛、癸醛、2-甲基丙酸4-甲酰基-2-甲氧苯酯、4-羟基-3-甲氧基肉桂醛、3,5-二甲氧基-4-羟基肉桂醛、2-苯基-3-(2-呋喃基)丙-2-烯醛、乙基香草醛乙酸酯、香草醛异丁酸酯、香草醛乙酸酯、细辛醛、以及它们的混合物。
在另一个实施方案中,醛可选自己基肉桂醛、4-羟基-3-甲氧基肉桂醛、癸醛、以及它们的混合物。
适用于本文的其它有机化合物是作用于嗅觉感受器的化合物。下文所列材料抑制鼻腔中的感受器,下文称为“嗅觉阻塞”。当使用时,这些材料可显著降低鼻子察觉恶臭的能力。由于所选物质的挥发性,可发生嗅觉阻塞,所述物质从吸收制品中挥发出去,一般在制品较近范围内,例如,在制品约0-10米内(然而这决不旨在限制本发明的范畴),然后经由正常呼吸被吸入个体鼻腔中。嗅觉感受器阻塞当然仅是暂时性的。适宜的嗅觉阻塞材料包括薄荷醇、乙酸薄荷酯、(5R)-2-甲基-5-丙-1-烯-2-基环己-2-烯-1-酮、3-甲基-4-(2,6,6-三甲基-2-环己烯-1-基)-3-丁烯-2-酮、甲基二氢茉莉酮酸酯、2-甲基丁酸己酯、4-(2,6,6-三甲基环己-1-烯-1-基)丁-3-烯-2-酮、4-(2,6,6-三甲基-1-环己烯-1-基)-3-丁烯-2-酮、4-(2,6,6-三甲基-2-环己烯-1-基)-3-丁烯-2-酮、(E)-乳酸薄荷酯、乙酸异薄荷酯、丙酸异薄荷酯、异丁酸异薄荷酯、丁酸异薄荷酯、樟脑和对薄荷烷。所述物质还包括它们的异构体形式、非对映体和对映体。有利的是,一般来讲,上述物质仅具有非常弱的固有气味,但却表现出高度的嗅觉感受器阻塞效果。
可用于本发明中的其它有机化合物包括柠檬烯、桉叶油素、甲酚、里哪醇、四氢里哪醇、月桂烯醇、四氢月桂烯醇、二氢月桂烯醇、月桂烯、香茅醇、香茅基衍生物、香叶醇、香叶基衍生物、乙酸里哪酯、新铃兰醇、丁子香酚、乙酸苄酯、萜品醇、马鞭烯醇、雪松烯、二氢大马酮、β-蒎烯、桉树脑及其衍生物、壬二烯醇、乙基己醛、乙酸辛酯、甲基糠醛、萜品烯、崖柏烯、乙酸戊酯、乙酸苄酯、莰烯、香茅醛、二氢香豆素、乙酸二氢月桂烯酯、香叶醇、香叶醛、桉树油、乙酸异戊酯、乙酸乙酯和/或三乙基乙酸酯、对甲酚和对甲基异丙基苯、苯甲酸苄酯、肉豆蔻酸异丙酯、松香酸甲酯、乙醇、异丙醇、二甘醇单乙醚、甘油、丙二醇、1,2-丁二醇、二丙二醇、2-甲基-2,4-戊二醇、邻苯二甲酸二乙酯、柠檬酸三乙酯、癸二酸二乙酯。
可以单独的气味控制材料形式,或更通常以其混合物形式,包含上文所述的所有有机化合物。
环糊精包合络合物
如本文所用,术语“环糊精”包括已知环糊精中的任一种,如包含约六至约十二个葡萄糖单元的取代和未取代的环糊精,例如α-环糊精、β-环糊精、γ-环糊精和/或它们的衍生物和/或它们的混合物。例如,本发明可使用选自由下列组成的组的环糊精:β-环糊精、α-环糊精、羟丙基-α-环糊精、羟丙基-β-环糊精、甲基化-α-环糊精、甲基化-β-环糊精、以及它们的混合物。
环糊精颗粒以及环糊精与有机化合物的包合络合物可由本领域熟知的多种方法形成。早期参考文献是得自The Procter&Gamble Company的欧洲专利Patent EP392608B1,其描述了有机化合物的环糊精包合络合物以及它们在一次性吸收制品中的用途。
例如,可将溶剂(例如水或适用于将要络合的有机化合物的有机溶剂)、未负载的环糊精颗粒和需要络合的有机化合物放置到容器中,然后混合一段时间,以使得有机分子负载到环糊精分子的“腔体”中。所述混合物可以或可不进一步加工;例如通过胶体磨和/或匀化器加工。然后经由例如喷雾干燥,将溶剂从所得混合物或浆液中基本上移除,获得环糊精络合物颗粒。然而,不同的制造技术可赋予不同的颗粒/络合物特性,这在吸收制品中可能是所期望的或可能不是所期望的,取决于具体的用途和条件。在一些实施方案中,环糊精包合络合物颗粒在它们包含于聚硅氧烷载体中之前具有低含量的水分,按所述颗粒的重量计通常小于约20%,或按所述颗粒的重量计小于约10%,或按所述颗粒的重量计小于约6%。喷雾干燥环糊精与有机化合物的包合络合物浆液是一种能够制备具有上述水分含量的环糊精颗粒和环糊精络合物的制造技术。环糊精络合物还可采用已知的技术和挤出方法(捏炼)获得,然而所得材料一般将包含更高的水分含量和更低的络合效率。得自The Procter&Gamble Company的WO2008/104960提供了制备环糊精包合络合物的最适宜技术的详细综述。
聚硅氧烷油
根据本发明,环糊精包合络合物分散在包含聚硅氧烷油的基质中。在一些情况下,环糊精包合络合物分散在基质中,所述基质包含大于50重量%,或大于70重量%,或大于90重量%的聚硅氧烷油(不包括环糊精包合络合物),或环糊精包合络合物分散在由聚硅氧烷油组成的基质中。在所有实施方案中,聚硅氧烷油可为聚二甲基硅氧烷(PDMS)或聚醚(通常为聚环氧乙烷和/或聚环氧丙烷)链接枝的聚硅氧烷聚合物,如还被称为“硅氧烷二醇共聚物”或“聚(氧乙烯.氧丙烯)甲基聚硅氧烷共聚物”的那些。此类材料可从Dow Corning商购获得,并且一个适宜的实例是DC190。存在接枝在聚硅氧烷主链上的聚醚链,可提高基体聚合物的亲水性,而不影响有机材料从包合络合物中的释放,使得即使在较高含量的气味控制材料存在下,更亲水的基质也可使流体更好地移动,并且使吸收制品中的采集速率更快。
环糊精络合物的聚硅氧烷油分散体为低粘度液体形式,其在吸收制品制备期间易于处理,并且可在制备过程的任何阶段,易于施用在吸收制品上。
使用环糊精络合物的聚硅氧烷油分散体的附加优点在于,所述材料易于以图案形式施用在所期望的表面上,如下文描述施用图案时所述的。
一般来讲,包含聚硅氧烷油的基质与环糊精包合络合物之间的比率为10∶1至1∶2。在一些情况下,其可为5∶1至1∶1。在其它情况下,其可为2∶1至1∶1。较高含量的环糊精包合络合物可使得材料过于粘稠而不能易于处理,而较低的含量可能需要过大量的基质以在吸收制品中递送需要量的环糊精包合络合物。
如上所述,可用于气味控制材料的大多数有机化合物是挥发性的,并且趋于以一定程度挥发,使得它们在商业吸收制品中的量难以控制。为了保留挥发性化合物,一种成功的途径是将挥发性有机化合物掺入到环糊精包合络合物中。当通过与水分如包含于体液中的水分接触而引发时,此类络合物释放出络合的化合物。不受理论的束缚,据信水的存在会通过与其形成氢键弱化环糊精与有机化合物间的化学键。因此在一些情况下,环糊精包合络合物必须防潮,所述水分可存在于大气中,或可在吸收制品储存期间接触吸收制品。本发明提供了使有机化合物的环糊精络合物防潮,并且同时使其在需要时易于并且完全释放的解决方案。
已惊奇地发现,聚硅氧烷油的具体选择提供了显著的优点,因为如果使用更疏水的基质(如矿物油或凡士林),则体液参与与环糊精包合络合物接触的机会减少,并且如果使用更亲水的基质(如PEG或甘油),则此类基质会比所期望的更早触发络合的化合物的释放。基于聚硅氧烷油的基质有效地使络合物防水分,并且同时使其在需要时立即释放。
本发明提供的优点对任何有机化合物均存在,因为所有适用于本文的有机化合物均具有一定的挥发性,然而所述优点对具有更高挥发性的有机化合物更加明显,使得当所述有机化合物选自具有至少中等至高挥发性的那些时,本发明是尤其适宜的。
在本发明中,有机化合物的挥发性通过它们的科法兹指数测定。科法兹指数是香料产业中对香料原料采用的标准量度,并且在本发明情况下,其已经应用于本发明的所有有机化合物。
有机化合物的科法兹指数由有机化合物在层析柱上的选择性保留来限定。用层析柱DB 5(或等同物)(30m,0.25mm,1.00μm,在下列条件下操作:50-300℃,4℃/min,12.0psi,恒定流量)获得本文的科法兹指数值;DB 5柱购自例如Agilent Technologies Inc(以前为J&W Scientific),等同的柱易于由本领域的技术人员使用通常可获得的等同表来确定。有机化合物的科法兹指数值由其极性、分子量、蒸汽压、沸点和固定相特性来决定,并且被视为其挥发性的合宜量度。
出于本发明的目的,考虑科法兹指数介于500和2000之间的具有中等至高挥发性的那些化合物。
具有本文气味控制材料的吸收制品可以是本领域已知的任何类型的个人卫生吸收制品。本发明的气味控制材料可存在于吸收制品的任何部分中。在一些实施方案中,气味控制系统可施用在顶片的穿着者面上,或顶片的衣服面上,或顶片中,或吸收元件的穿着者面上,或吸收元件的衣服面上,或吸收元件中,或底片的穿着者面上,或(如果存在第二顶片)第二顶片的穿着者面上,或第二顶片的衣服面上,或第二顶片中,或(如果存在采集层)采集层的穿着者面上,或采集层的衣服面上,或采集层中,或吸收制品任何其它组件(如果存在的话,如芯包裹物、其它塑性泡沫或非织造层、第二底片或它们的混合)的任何面上。气味控制材料的放置区域通常与体液进入所述制品的区域流体连通。
在其中将气味控制材料施用在吸收元件的穿着者面或衣服面、或同一吸收元件中、或形成制品的另一层表面(所述表面与吸收元件面向衣服的表面或面向身体的表面直接接触)上的那些实施方案中,所述气味控制材料可能是更有效的,因为该构型可使与体液的接触更加紧密并且更加长久。
如上所述,可将气味控制材料加入到吸收制品任何层之中或施用到吸收制品任何层之上。当它施用在层表面上,它可被均匀喷涂,但是一般来讲,将气味控制材料以图案方式施用是有利的,所述图案如螺旋形、盘旋形、条形、点或本领域已知的任何其它图案化施用。例如,可使用常规的施胶设备如可用于条纹状图案的狭槽施用装置或用于图案化施用的空气辅助施用装置(如喷雾施用装置、螺旋形施用装置、盘旋形施用装置、纤维形施用装置、等)来施用气味控制材料,因为这能够以不影响流体采集的方式定位气味控制材料(即在女性护理制品中,不会与阴道口相对应来施用材料),而且具有大空隙空间的图案还可使流体在面上渗透。而且,图案化施用是有益的,因为它能够精确施用,使得易于避免与胶体接触,所述胶体连接制品多个层,并且其性能可能因与聚硅氧烷油接触而受到不利的影响。
图1示出了如本发明所述的吸收制品。图1b是同一制品沿图1中(i)所示线的部分。所述制品(10)包括顶片(20)、底片(30)、吸收元件(40)、第二顶片(50)、以及如本发明所述的施用在吸收芯面向身体的表面上的两个螺旋形的气味控制材料(60)。
本发明的气味控制材料可包含其它成分,如着色剂、抗氧化剂、稳定剂、乳化剂、表面活性剂、填料、其它未络合的香料、以及选自本专利申请中提及的或本领域已知的那些中的气味控制材料。在一些实施方案中,气味控制材料将包含大于50重量%,或大于80重量%,或大于95重量%,或大于99重量%的环糊精包合络合物在聚硅氧烷油中的分散体。一般来讲,以10-5000mg每件制品,或20-1000mg每件制品,或30-500mg每件制品,或70-300mg每件制品的量,将气味控制材料加入到吸收制品中。
实施例
1.气味控制材料的制备:
按顺序将下列材料加入温和搅拌的器皿中以产生流体顶部的运动,但是不产生气泡。
55g蒸馏水、41g的β-环糊精颗粒(标称包含12%的水分)、4克50-50重量%的乙酸薄荷酯和己基肉桂醛的混合物。将浆液搅拌30分钟,接着通过胶体磨(Gaulin研磨)。当络合发生时,溶液流变性变化,形成粘稠的浆液。然后在约195℃的入口温度和约98℃的出口温度下,经由喷嘴喷雾干燥,干燥所述浆液。结果为具有约5重量%含水量和约8重量%有机分子载量的粉末。
2.PDMS中分散体的制备
在搅拌器中,将1处制得的40克包合络合物缓慢加入到60克PDMS中,同时搅拌,获得保持在搅拌下的均匀分散体。
3.制品的制备
通过沿着周边剪切密封线,将当前由The Procter&Gamble Company出售的卫生巾AlwaysTM Regular切开。将组成制品的层分开,具体地讲是顶片和第二顶片,同时使组合件吸收芯/底片保持组合。将2处制得的170mg分散体以与图1中所示那些相类似的两个细螺旋的形式施用在第二顶片的面向衣服侧上。然后将制品的层以它们原有的顺序和取向重新组装并且沿着周边提供新的热密封。
本文所公开的量纲和值不旨在被理解为严格地限于所述的精确值。相反,除非另外指明,每个这样的量纲是指所引用的数值和围绕该数值的功能上等同的范围。例如,公开为“40mm”的量纲旨在表示“约40mm”。
Claims (9)
1.一种包含气味控制材料的吸收制品,所述气味控制材料包含至少一种环糊精与有机化合物的包合络合物,所述包合络合物被分散在包含大于50重量%的聚硅氧烷油的基质中,
其中所述聚硅氧烷油选自聚二甲基硅氧烷、聚醚链接枝的聚硅氧烷聚合物及其混合物。
2.如权利要求1所述的吸收制品,其中所述环糊精选自α-或β-环糊精。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的吸收制品,其中所述有机化合物具有介于500和2000之间的科法兹指数,用30m、0.25mm、1.00μm的层析柱DB 5测量所述科法兹指数,所述层析柱在50-300℃、4℃/min、12.0psi、恒定流量下操作。
4.如权利要求1或2中所述的吸收制品,所述吸收制品包括液体可透过的顶片、底片和包括在所述顶片和所述底片之间的吸收元件,所述顶片、底片和吸收元件中的每一个都具有面向身体侧和面向衣服侧。
5.如权利要求4所述的吸收制品,其中将所述气味控制材料施用在所述顶片的面向身体侧上或面向衣服侧上。
6.如权利要求4所述的吸收制品,其中将所述气味控制材料施用在所述底片的面向身体侧上。
7.如权利要求4所述的吸收制品,其中将所述气味控制材料施用在所述吸收元件的面向身体侧上或面向衣服侧上,或所述吸收元件内。
8.如权利要求4所述的吸收制品,所述吸收制品还包括定位在所述顶片和所述吸收元件之间的附加材料层,其中将所述气味控制材料施用在所述层的面向身体侧上或面向衣服侧上。
9.如权利要求4所述的吸收制品,所述吸收制品还包括定位在所述吸收元件和所述底片之间的附加材料层,其中将所述气味控制材料施用在所述层的面向身体侧上或面向衣服侧上。
