Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及用作在氧存在下易变质的内容物,特别是饮料、食品和药剂等的包装材料的氧吸收性树脂组合物。
背景技术
目前,各种塑料容器由于它们的优点如重量轻、透明和易于成型而用于包装。
然而,因为塑料容器的氧阻挡性质低于金属容器和玻璃容器的氧阻挡性质,因此塑料容器存在的问题在于容器的内容物变质和内容物的风味变差。
为了防止这些问题,塑料容器壁具有其中至少一层由具有优良氧阻挡性质的树脂如乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物制成的多层结构。另外,存在具有用于吸收残留在容器中的氧和从外界渗入容器中的氧气的氧吸收层的其它种类的容器。用于形成氧吸收层的氧气吸收剂(脱氧剂)包括例如主要含有还原性物质如铁粉的那些(参见例如下面指定的专利文献1);或者含有由烯属不饱和烃和过渡金属催化剂组成的氧清除剂的那些(参见例如下面指定的专利文献2至4)。
其中将氧吸收剂如铁粉引入树脂中并将所得的树脂组合物用作形成用于包装的容器壁的包装材料的方法显示出足够高的吸收氧气的能力,但所得的树脂组合物具有铁粉所特有的颜色色调。因此,所述方法其应用受到限制并且不能用于其中要求透明度的包装领域。此外,在其中使用由烯属不饱和烃和过渡金属催化剂组成的氧清除剂的方法中,烯属不饱和烃本身吸收氧气以保证清除剂的氧阻挡性质,因而将要引入清除剂的烯属不饱和烃的量应提高至某一程度。然而,如果将烯属不饱和烃以提高的量引入组合物中,将出现问题以致所得的树脂组合物在成型性和透明度方面不足。由于此原因,树脂组合物就其能够有效地吸收氧气的期限而言受到限制,因而组合物不满足长期储存前述内容物的所需要求。另外,组合物的着色出现并通过氧吸收从组合物中发出难闻的气味。
为了解决这些问题,本发明的发明人已发现:通过使用包含通过聚合具有2至8个碳原子的烯烃而制备的聚烯烃树脂、除所述聚烯烃树脂之外的并能够用作氧化所述聚烯烃树脂的引发物的树脂和特定量的过渡金属催化剂的树脂组合物,由树脂组合物吸收的氧气量可以显著地提高,这是因为所述引发物树脂作用于聚烯烃树脂以引发其氧化反应,所以聚烯烃树脂能够吸收氧气(参见下面指定的专利文献5)。

发明内容
本发明要解决的问题
然而,上述树脂组合物通过吸收氧产生氧化副产物,并且依赖于使用该树脂组合物包装的内容物的种类,这经常导致产生令人厌恶的味道和讨厌的气味。此外,同样希望氧吸收速率提高。
因此,本发明的目的是提供能够进一步降低氧化副产物的量并具有优良氧吸收能力的氧吸收性树脂组合物。
解决问题的方式
本发明的发明人已进行各种研究以解决上述问题,结果已发现:氧化副产物的量可以通过使用作为热塑性树脂的特定聚乙烯类混合物而降低,并且氧吸收速率可以通过使用作为能够用作引发物的特定苯乙烯类树脂混合物而提高,因而已完成本发明。更具体地,本发明提供包含苯乙烯类树脂、在其分子结构中具有亚乙基结构的热塑性树脂和过渡金属催化剂的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中当苯乙烯类树脂用作引发物时热塑性树脂的氧化进行,结果,组合物吸收氧,其中苯乙烯类树脂包含两种苯乙烯类树脂(A)和(B),该苯乙烯类树脂(A)和(B)的苯乙烯含量彼此不同且树脂(A)的苯乙烯含量大于树脂(B)的苯乙烯含量[(A)>(B)]。
另外,本发明提供包含聚乙烯、除聚乙烯之外的并能够用作氧化聚乙烯的引发物的树脂以及过渡金属催化剂的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中聚乙烯包含至少两种聚乙烯并且这些聚乙烯的至少一种是通过将乙烯和4质量%以上的具有3至6个碳原子的1-烯烃共聚而制备的线性低密度聚乙烯。
另外,本发明提供包括包含上述氧吸收性树脂组合物的氧吸收层的多层结构。
本发明的效果
根据本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物具有优良的氧吸收性质并抑制氧化副产物的形成。
具体实施方式
根据本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物包含在分子结构中具有亚乙基结构的热塑性树脂、能够用作氧化上述热塑性树脂的引发物的树脂和过渡金属催化剂。
能够用作引发物的上述树脂是除上述热塑性树脂之外的并可以是用于氧化热塑性树脂的引发物的树脂。能够用作引发物的这样的树脂可以优选具有碳-氢键的树脂,其中氢原子可以容易地从其中存在的亚甲基链中提取;例如,在主链或侧链中具有碳-碳双键的树脂;在主链中具有叔碳原子的树脂;在主链中具有活性亚甲基的树脂;和带有醛基的树脂。可以将这些引发物树脂单独或以它们中至少两种的任何组合的方式引入热塑性树脂中。
在主链或侧链中具有碳-碳双键的引发物树脂的实例包括含有衍生自直链或环状、共轭或非共轭多烯的单体单元的树脂。这样的单体的实例为共轭二烯如丁二烯和异戊二烯;直链非共轭二烯如1,4-己二烯、3-甲基-1,4-己二烯、4-甲基-1,4-己二烯、5-甲基-1,4-己二烯、4,5-二甲基-1,4-己二烯和7-甲基-1,6-辛二烯;非共轭环二烯如甲基四氢茚(methyl tetrahydro-indene)、5-乙叉基(ethylidene)-2-降冰片烯、5-亚甲基-2-降冰片烯、5-异丙叉基(isopropylidene)-2-降冰片烯、5-乙烯基叉基(vinylidene)-2-降冰片烯、6-氯甲基-5-异丙烯基-2-降冰片烯和双环戊二烯;和三烯如2,3-二异丙叉基-5-降冰片烯、2-乙叉基-3-异丙叉基-5-降冰片烯和2-丙烯基-2,2-降冰片二烯。聚合物的具体实例为聚丁二烯、聚异戊二烯、乙烯-丙烯-二烯共聚物、多萜和双环戊二烯树脂。考虑到其引发物的效果,此处优选使用的是在烯丙基位置带有叔碳原子的树脂,并且其中,此处优选使用的是在其结构带有叔碳原子的烯丙基位置具有环烯结构的树脂,因为它们仅产生少量的氧化副产物。
在其主链中具有叔碳原子的适于此处使用的引发物树脂的实例为带有衍生自具有3至20个碳原子的α-烯烃的单体单元的聚合物或共聚物,或者在其侧链上带有苯环的聚合物或共聚物。上述α-烯烃的具体实例为丙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、4-甲基-1-戊烯、1-己烯、1-庚烯、1-辛烯、1-壬烯、1-癸烯、1-十一碳烯、1-十二碳烯、1-十三碳烯、1-十四碳烯、1-十五碳烯、1-十六碳烯、1-十七碳烯、1-十九碳烯、1-二十碳烯、9-甲基-1-癸烯、11-甲基-1-十二碳烯和12-乙基-1-十四碳烯。聚合物的具体实例特别包括聚丙烯、聚-1-丁烯、聚-1-己烯、聚-1-辛烯、乙烯-丙烯共聚物、乙烯-丁烯-1共聚物和乙烯-丙烯-1-丁烯共聚物。在其侧链上带有苯环的上述单体可以为例如烯基苯(alkenylbenzenes)如苯乙烯、3-苯丙烯和2-苯基-2-丁烯。其聚合物的具体实例为聚苯乙烯、苯乙烯共聚物、苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物或苯乙烯-异戊二烯共聚物。这些苯乙烯聚合物的芳环可以具有取代基。特别地,此处优选用作这样的取代基的可以是例如能够与芳环形成共振结构的那些如具有未共享电子对的取代基、或者带有极性多重键的取代基、或者能够进行超共轭的取代基。
上述在主链中具有活性亚甲基的引发物树脂可以是在其主链中带有吸电子基团,特别是邻接其上的羰基和亚甲基,其具体实例包括一氧化碳和烯烃的共聚物,尤其是一氧化碳-乙烯共聚物。
带有醛基的树脂是通过自由基聚合单体如丙烯醛和/或介丙烯醛而制备的树脂,可以同样优选使用这些单体与苯乙烯的共聚物。
作为上述能够用作引发物的树脂,考虑到其作为用于氧化上述热塑性树脂的引发物的功能,特别优选的是其侧链上具有苯环的聚苯乙烯或苯乙烯共聚物(在本说明中,该树脂也称作“苯乙烯类树脂(s)”)。
从引发物效果的观点出发,苯乙烯共聚物优选具有衍生自二烯的部位(sites)。这些衍生自二烯的部位优选含有异戊二烯单元或丁二烯单元,特别是此处优选使用的是苯乙烯与异戊二烯或丁二烯的共聚物如苯乙烯-异戊二烯共聚物和苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物。该共聚物可以是任何状态如无规共聚物或嵌段共聚物。在该方面,从它们作为引发物的效果出发,此处优选使用嵌段共聚物,此处特别优选使用的是各自在分子末端具有苯乙烯嵌段的苯乙烯-异戊二烯嵌段共聚物和苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物。特别优选的是苯乙烯-异戊二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物和苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物。关于化学结构,上述三嵌段共聚物可以是线性的或放射状(radial)的三嵌段共聚物。
通过适度地氢化衍生自存在于带有衍生自二烯的部位的上述苯乙烯共聚物的二烯的部位而获得的共聚物是特别优选的,因为将所得的树脂组合物成型时,这样的共聚物能够抑制观察到的任何劣化和着色。这样的衍生自二烯的部位优选异戊二烯单元和丁二烯单元,此处特别优选使用的是作为苯乙烯-异戊二烯和苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物的氢化产物的氢化苯乙烯-异戊二烯共聚物和氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物。共聚物可以是任何形态如无规共聚物或嵌段共聚物。在这方面,从它们作为引发物的效果出发,此处优选使用嵌段共聚物,并且此处特别优选使用的是在分子末端具有苯乙烯嵌段的苯乙烯-异戊二烯嵌段共聚物和苯乙烯-丁二烯嵌段共聚物,此处更优选使用的是氢化苯乙烯-异戊二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物和氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物。关于化学结构,上述三嵌段共聚物可以是线性的或放射状的三嵌段共聚物,并且在氢化之前二烯部位中的碳-碳双键可以以亚乙烯基的形式存在于主链或者以乙烯基的形式存在于侧链上。另外,这样的无规共聚物的实例包括氢化苯乙烯-异戊二烯无规共聚物和氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯无规共聚物。
此外,由于将其部位衍生自二烯的苯乙烯共聚物的其它形式适度地氢化,氢化苯乙烯-二烯-烯烃(晶态)三嵌段共聚物也是可用的,此处特别优选使用的是氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-烯烃(晶态)三嵌段共聚物,因为它们可以抑制氧化副产物的产生。其中,此处优选使用的是氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-聚乙烯三嵌段共聚物。
此外,关于以上列举的作为能够用作引发物树脂的上述在主链或侧链中具有碳-碳双键的树脂、在主链中具有叔碳原子的树脂和在主链中具有活性亚甲基的树脂,从成型期间的热稳定性和它们作为用于氧化热塑性树脂的引发物的功能的观点出发,如果能够作为引发物的树脂具有过量的碳-碳双键,能够作为引发物的树脂趋于抑制热塑性树脂的氧化。在这方面,存在于苯环的碳-碳键在此处不定义为碳-碳双键。
另外,如果本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物包括过量的碳-碳双键,组合物反而趋于抑制热塑性树脂的氧化。此外,这也引起成型期间氧吸收性树脂组合物的着色。
在这方面,作为引发物的树脂的分子量无特别限制,但考虑到其在热塑性树脂中的分散性,其数均分子量优选1,000至500,000,更优选10,000至250,000。
作为苯乙烯类树脂,优选组合使用苯乙烯含量彼此不同的树脂(A)和树脂(B)以提高氧吸收速率。树脂(A)的苯乙烯含量优选60至90质量%,更优选60至70质量%。树脂(B)的苯乙烯含量优选不大于50质量%,更优选10至40质量%,且进一步优选10至30质量%。另外,树脂(A)和(B)的苯乙烯含量之间的差值优选不小于20质量%,更优选20至60质量%,且进一步优选30至60质量%。树脂(A)优选其为苯乙烯与异戊二烯或丁二烯的共聚物的氢化产物的氢化苯乙烯-异戊二烯共聚物或氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物,特别优选氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物。树脂(B)优选其为苯乙烯与异戊二烯或丁二烯的共聚物的氢化产物的氢化苯乙烯-异戊二烯共聚物或氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯共聚物,特别优选氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物、氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯无规共聚物或氢化乙烯-丁二烯-聚乙烯三嵌段共聚物。树脂(A)与树脂(B)的混合比例优选1∶9至9∶1,更优选2∶8至8∶2,进一步优选3∶7至5∶5。
作为上述热塑性树脂,可以列举例如,聚乙烯如低密度聚乙烯、中密度聚乙烯、高密度乙烯、线性低密度聚乙烯、线性超低密度聚乙烯;聚丙烯如全同立构或间同立构聚丙烯;含乙烯部分的共聚物如乙烯-丙烯共聚物、聚丁烯-1、乙烯-丁烯-1共聚物、乙烯-丙烯-丁烯-1共聚物、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物;含丙烯部分的共聚物如丙烯-丁烯-1共聚物;离子交联的烯烃共聚物;或其共混物。此处优选使用的热塑性树脂是聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯-丙烯共聚物,含乙烯部分的共聚物和含丙烯部分的共聚物。
此外,此处可用的作为在其分子结构中具有烯属结构的热塑性树脂是通过将上述作为基础聚合物的树脂用不饱和羧酸或其衍生物接枝改性而获得的酸改性烯烃树脂。
另外,上述热塑性树脂优选通过聚合C2至C20单体制备的且基本上无任何烯属不饱和键的树脂。此外,热塑性树脂优选其侧链由量不大于0.003eq/g的直链烃组成的线性低密度聚乙烯,或具有总量不大于0.005eq/g的脂族侧链的树脂,在该树脂中脂族侧链由环烃组成,其部分环结构与主链的环结构共享,或者该树脂中脂族侧链由上述环烃和直链烃组成。在这方面,此处使用的术语“侧链”意指从主链中分枝的分子链。在直链烃的情况下,如果主链仅在一点分枝,侧链数为1。在环烃的情况如由后面给出的化学式1表示的情况下,相对于主链的分枝数为2,但基于假定整个环状化合物为侧链,侧链数定义为1。在上述具有由量不大于0.003eq/g的直链烃组成侧链的线性低密度聚乙烯中,在聚乙烯中直链烃的量(eq/g)是指通过测定存在于1g树脂中的侧链数,然后将所得的侧链数除以阿佛加德罗常数而获得的值,如果将阿佛加德罗常数和存在于1g树脂的侧链数分别表示为N和n,该值可以根据关系:n/N(在下面描述中的eq/g也以同样方式计算)来计算。
关于用于上述本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物的线性低密度聚乙烯,选择能够形成线性侧链的共聚单体,然后将由此选择的共聚单体与乙烯共聚,由此形成所需的其侧链由量不大于0.003eq/g的直链烃组成的低密度聚乙烯。不同于具有带有分枝的侧链的树脂,其侧链由直链烃组成的树脂将完全没有在树脂的分枝部位频繁观察到的任何分子开裂(cleavage),从而抑制任何低分子量挥发组分的产生。此外,将非常易于氧化的带有叔碳的部位有意引入树脂的分子链以控制氧化的进行,因而防止伴随带有仲碳部位等的氧化而出现任何无规分子开裂。
关于上述聚合,上述聚合物可以适当地从使用传统Ziegler-Natta催化剂制备的那些或使用单点催化剂制备的那些中选择,只要它们具有所需的分子结构即可,通过使用单点催化剂进行的上述共聚将能够防止共聚的组成比遍及整个分子量组分而变化。结果,所得共聚物具有均匀的分子结构,因此,构成共聚物的分子链均匀地氧化,抑制任何副反应的过度进行,由此必定能够抑制由于不希望的分子断裂而引起的通过氧化形成的任何副产物。此处优选使用的这样的催化剂可以是例如金属茂型催化剂。这里可用的其它催化剂的实例是用于烯烃聚合的那些,将其认为是后-金属茂催化剂,特别地,后者优选的实例是苯氧基亚胺催化剂(FI催化剂)。另一方面,当上述单体使用不同于单点催化剂的催化剂例如多点催化剂如Ziegler-Natta催化剂聚合时,对于每一分子链,很难使乙烯与共聚单体的共聚比例均匀,因此,观察到不希望的条件以致氧化在特定点局部发生。另外,如果从主链中分枝的侧链的含量超过0.003eq/g,树脂的主链具有对应侧链-键合点且优先易于氧化的增大比率的叔碳原子,这导致由于主链断裂而形成小分子的频率增大,结果,这进一步成为低分子量组分大量形成的原因。这又不利地影响要包装于所得树脂中内容物的风味和味道。侧链的含量优选范围为0.0003至0.003eq/g,特别是0.0005至0.003eq/g。使用这样的树脂是优选的,因为如果其含量落入上述规定的范围,不仅可以降低通过氧化所得树脂形成的副产物的量,而且所得树脂确实具有稳定的氧吸收性和良好的热稳定性。
上述线性低密度聚乙烯可以优选例如通过使用金属茂催化剂制备的乙烯与α-烯烃的共聚物如乙烯与1-丁烯的共聚物、乙烯与1-己烯的共聚物和乙烯与1-辛烯的共聚物。这些树脂可以单独使用或以它们的至少两种的任何组合使用。
通过使用单点催化剂聚合制备上述树脂可以使用任何工业上可接受的方法进行,但优选根据液相技术进行,因为该技术已最广泛地应用于本领域。
另一方面,本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物可以包括含总量不大于0.005eq/g的脂族侧链的树脂,在该树脂中脂族侧链由环烃组成,其部分环结构与主链的环结构共用,或者包括其中脂族侧链由上述环烃和直链烃组成的树脂,该树脂可以通过乙烯与带有烯属不饱和键的脂环烃共聚,或者乙烯、带有烯属不饱和键的脂环烃和能够形成线性侧链的共聚单体共聚而制备。该树脂在主链中包含其中其部分环结构与主链共有的环烃。因此,在其环部分的任何分解不会发生,除非存在于主链中的叔碳的两个部分同时裂开,因而与对于树脂所观察到的吸收氧的量相比,该树脂更不易于通过氧化而形成副产物。
此外,如果形成由下列化学式1表示的侧链,即使在存在于侧链的叔碳原子被氧化时也不产生任何低分子量组分,如在下面途径1中所示:

各自带有脂环侧链的这些树脂具有这样的趋势:它们具有更高的玻璃化转变温度。然而,如果树脂具有高的玻璃转化点,存在于树脂中的分子链在常温下具有不充分的迁移性,因而树脂易于具有降低的氧吸收速率。在这方面,树脂的玻璃转化点可以通过如下方法而适当地降低:通过与适量的乙烯共聚或者与除乙烯之外的线性共聚单体共聚而引入衍生自直链烃的侧链。在这种情况下,衍生自直链烃的侧链优选具有不少于4个碳原子的那些。优选的树脂玻璃转化点不高于50℃。
在树脂组分(B)中,其包含总量不大于0.005eq/g的脂族侧链且在该树脂中脂族侧链由其部分环结构与主链的环结构共用的环烃组成,或者在该树脂中脂族侧链由上述环烃和直链烃组成,该树脂可以是通过嵌段共聚、无规共聚或者交替共聚各自带有环状侧链的单体而制备的树脂,但树脂的脂族环状侧链部分易于具有降低的迁移性,因此,树脂优选通过无规共聚或交替共聚上述单体而制备。
如果连接至主链的总脂族侧链的含量超过0.005eq/g,所得树脂具有非常高密度的存在于其主链中的叔碳原子,这又导致由于主链的开裂而引起形成低分子量分子的频率提高。因此,这成为形成大量低分子量组分的原因,从而不利地影响在所得树脂中要包装的内容物的风味。
脂族侧链的含量优选0.0005至0.005eq/g,特别是0.001至0.005eq/g。这样的树脂的使用是优选的,因为如果其含量落入上述规定的范围内,不仅通过所得树脂的氧化形成的副产物的量可以降低,而且所得树脂的确具有稳定的氧吸收性和良好的热稳定性。
由衍生自其中部分环结构与其主链共用的环烃的部分组成的树脂或者其中脂族侧链由上述环烃和直链烃组成的树脂优选通过使用单点催化剂进行的聚合而制备,因为此聚合技术能够制备多种共聚物和控制所得共聚物的微观结构。此处优选使用的这样的单点催化剂可以例如是上述金属茂型催化剂和用于聚合烯烃的被认为是后-金属茂催化剂的那些。其具体实例包括,但不限于,各自包含作为中心金属的Ti或Zr和作为其配体的两个茚基或者环戊二烯基和苯并茚基组合的催化剂。此处优选使用的是进一步包括例如包含环戊二烯基型配体与苯氧基型配体组合的苯氧基钛型催化剂。使用这种单点催化剂制备的带有环状侧链的树脂的具体实例是环状烯烃共聚物(APEL:可从MitsuiChemicals,Inc.获得)。
其环烃的部分环结构与主链共用的或者其侧链由所述环烃和所述直链烃组成的树脂可以通过使用例如包含Zr作为中心金属的金属茂型单点催化剂共聚例如乙烯和环丁烯;乙烯和环戊烯;乙烯和环己烯;或者乙烯和环辛烯而制备。此外,除上述2-组分体系之外,还可以通过使用共聚单体如1-丁烯、1-己烯和/或1-辛烯将直链型脂族侧链引入所得树脂中。此外,如上文已讨论的,所得共聚物的结构如嵌段和无规共聚物结构可以通过适当地选择使用的催化剂种类而获得。
根据本发明的其侧链数落入上述规定范围的树脂可以通过控制上述共聚物的组成比而制备。
构成环烃的部分氢原子可以用其它原子或原子基团(atomic groups)来取代。这样的原子基团的实例是烷基、衍生自醛的那些、羧基和羟基。在例如环己烯的情况下,作为试剂容易得到是单体如3-环己烯-1-羧醛、3-环己烯-1-羧酸和3-环己烯-1-甲醇。这种用原子基团取代氢原子的频率优选每条由环烃组成的侧链不大于1。
如果取代原子基团是极性原子基团,要使用的催化剂的中心金属和/或配体的种类可以依赖于例如用原子基团取代的烃分子的体容度和分子的极性程度来适当选择。作为用于共聚乙烯与作为极性单体的甲基丙烯酸甲酯的催化剂,存在已知的各自包含作为中心金属的Sm和作为配体的两个环戊二烯基的金属茂型催化剂。
树脂也可以在其中包含不同于脂族侧链的芳族侧链如苯基。然而,在这种情况下,带有这样的芳族基团的部分优选以例如苯乙烯嵌段的形式存在于树脂中。
此外,也可以使用其侧链由量不大于0.003eq/g的直链烃组成的上述线性低密度聚乙烯和包含总量不大于0.005eq/g的脂族侧链的树脂的共混物,在该树脂中,脂族侧链由其部分环结构与主链的环结构共用的环烃组成,或者在该树脂中,脂族侧链由上述环烃和直链烃组成。
考虑到降低副产物的量、提高成型性和提高氧吸收特性,可以优选组合使用至少两种上述热塑性树脂。特别地,此处优选使用的是其中至少一种聚乙烯是通过共聚乙烯与不低于4质量%的具有3至6个碳原子的1-烯烃而获得的线性低密度聚乙烯的树脂共混物。当使用至少两种这样的各自通过共聚乙烯与不低于4质量%的具有3至6个碳原子的1-烯烃而获得的线性低密度聚乙烯树脂时,共混物优选组合包含至少两种具有分子量彼此不同的聚乙烯。这两种聚乙烯之间分子量的差优选不低于5.0×102,更优选5.0×102至3.0×104,并进一步优选5.0×102至2.0×104,以数均分子量表示。上述1-烯烃的实例包括1-丙烯、1-丁烯、1-戊烯、1-己烯及其混合物。其中,此处优选使用的是1-丁烯,1-戊烯和1-己烯。要共聚的具有3至6个碳原子的1-烯烃的量优选4至30质量%,更优选4至20质量%。此处使用的热塑性树脂同样可以是高压法的低密度聚乙烯。当使用具有分子量彼此不同的线性低密度聚乙烯时,高分子量聚乙烯和低分子量聚乙烯的混合比优选5∶5至9∶1,更优选6∶4至8∶2并进一步优选6∶4至7∶3。作为选择,当组合使用线性低密度聚乙烯和高压法的低密度聚乙烯时,前者与后者的混合比优选5∶5至9∶1,更优选6∶4至9∶1,并进一步优选6∶4至8∶2。另外,上述线性低密度聚乙烯或高压法的低密度聚乙烯中碳-碳双键的含量不进行质量控制,但其优选不大于0.4×10-4eq/g。
将上述热塑性树脂优选以高比例引入本发明的树脂组合物中,以致它能够形成基质并且它能够通过其氧化吸收大量的氧,因此,在树脂组合物中其含量更优选90至99质量%,并进一步优选92.5至97.5质量%。另外,优选将能够作为引发物的树脂以低比例引入树脂组合物中,以致共聚物能够作为用于氧化上述热塑性树脂的引发物,因此,如果考虑当将所得的树脂组合物成型为膜、片材或杯、盘、瓶、立方体或盖时所观察到的所得树脂组合物的成型性质,共聚物(A)在组合物中的含量优选1至10.0质量%,更优选2.5至7.5质量%。
作为过渡金属催化剂,此处优选使用的是例如属于周期表第VIII族的金属成分如铁、钴和镍,但其实例也包括第I族金属如铜和银;第IV族金属如锡、钛和锆;第V族金属如钒;第VI族金属如铬;和第VII族金属如锰。在这些金属组分中,钴组分因为其高的氧吸收速率,特别适于本发明的预期用途。
上述过渡金属催化剂通常以其具有低价态的无机或有机酸盐或配合物的形式使用。
其无机酸盐的实例为卤化物如氯化物;具有含硫原子的含氧酸盐如硫酸盐;具有含氮原子的含氧酸盐如硝酸盐;具有含磷原子的含氧酸盐如磷酸盐;和硅酸盐。
另一方面,有机酸的实例为羧酸、磺酸和膦酸,但其中羧酸适于本发明的预期目的,上述具有羧酸的盐的具体实例包括具有以下羧酸的过渡金属盐的那些,如:乙酸、丙酸、异丙酸、丁酸、异丁酸、戊酸、异戊酸、己酸、庚酸、异庚酸、辛酸、2-乙基己酸、壬酸、3,5,5-三甲基己酸、癸酸、新癸酸、十一酸、月桂酸、肉豆蔻酸、棕榈酸、十七烷酸、硬脂酸、花生酸、5-十二烯酸、苧酸、岩芹酸、油酸、亚油酸、亚麻酸、花生四烯酸、蚁酸、草酸、氨基磺酸和环己烷甲酸。
另一方面,此处可用的过渡金属配合物可以是具有β-二酮或β-酮酸的酯的那些,此处可用的这样的β-二酮或β-酮酸的酯的实例为乙酰丙酮、乙酰乙酸乙酯、1,3-环己二酮、亚甲基-双-1,3-环己二酮、2-苄基-1,3-环己二酮、乙酰四氢萘酮、棕榈酰四氢萘酮、硬脂酰四氢萘酮、苯甲酰四氢萘酮、2-乙酰环己酮、2-苯甲酰环己酮、2-乙酰基-1,3-环己二酮、苯甲酰-对-氯苯甲酰甲烷、双(4-甲基苯甲酰)甲烷、双(2-羟基苯甲酰)甲烷、苯甲酰丙酮、三-苯甲酰甲烷、二-乙酰基苯甲酰甲烷、硬脂酰苯甲酰甲烷、棕榈酰苯甲酰甲烷、月桂酰苯甲酰甲烷、二-苯甲酰甲烷、双(4-氯苯甲酰)甲烷、双(亚甲基-3,4-二氧代苯甲酰)甲烷、苯甲酰乙酰基苯基甲烷(benzoyl acetyl phenyl methane)、硬脂酰(4-甲氧苯甲酰)甲烷、丁酰丙酮、二-硬脂酰甲烷,乙酰丙酮,硬脂酰丙酮,双(环己酰)-甲烷,和二-新戊酰甲烷。
在本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物中,过渡金属催化剂优选以10至1000ppm,特别是50至500ppm的量包括在其中,以基于氧吸收性树脂组合物总质量的过渡金属的量来表示。如果过渡金属催化剂的量落入上述规定范围,所得的树脂组合物的确具有良好的气体阻挡性质并同样在其捏合和成型操作期间具有优良的抗任何劣化性。
通过配混的氧吸收性树脂组合物的制备可以使用多种方法进行,但此处优选使用的是使用设置有侧面供料装置(side feedmeans)的双螺杆挤出机的方法。为了最小化树脂组合物任何可能的劣化,用于氧吸收性树脂组合物的成分在双螺杆挤出机中的捏合优选在非氧化气氛中进行。此外,非常重要的是缩短滞留时间并将成型温度降低至尽可能低的水平,这又导致所得的氧吸收性树脂组合物所需性能的保持。
如果需要,用于本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物包含本身已知的活化剂,但它的添加并不总是必需的。此处适宜使用的这样的活化剂的实例包括,但不限于,含羟基和/或羧基的聚合物如聚乙二醇、聚丙二醇,乙烯-甲基丙烯酸共聚物和各种离聚物。
用于本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物同样可以包含填料、着色剂、热稳定剂、耐候剂、除含磷原子抗氧化剂之外的抗氧化剂、抗老化剂、光稳定剂、UV吸收剂、抗静电剂、润滑剂如金属皂或蜡、和/或根据本身已知配方的已知树脂配混料如改性剂树脂或橡胶。
例如,将润滑剂引入树脂组合物能够提高螺杆咬合进入树脂。通常使用的这种润滑剂的实例是金属皂如硬脂酸镁和硬脂酸钙;液体天然或合成石蜡;烃类润滑剂如微晶蜡、聚乙烯蜡和氯化聚乙烯蜡;脂肪酸类润滑剂如硬脂酸和月桂酸;脂肪酸单酰胺或双酰胺类润滑剂如硬脂酸酰胺、棕榈酸酰胺、油酸酰胺、esilic酸酰胺、亚甲基双硬脂酰胺和乙撑双硬脂酰胺;酯类润滑剂如硬脂酸丁酯、硬化蓖麻油和单硬脂酸乙二醇酯;醇类润滑剂如十六烷醇和硬脂醇;及其混合物。
然而,在这方面,这些添加剂中的一些可能抑制氧化反应和/或延长其诱导期。因此,添加剂的量应该限于必要的最低限。可以抑制本发明氧化反应的这些添加剂的实例包括碱性化合物。
本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物可以以多种形式如粉末、颗粒或片材用于吸收密封包装内的氧。此外,将树脂组合物引入用于制备衬垫、垫圈或涂布的膜和用于以如衬里、垫圈或涂布膜的形式吸收氧的树脂或橡胶。另外,树脂组合物可以成形为例如膜和片材,然后用作包装材料,或者可以用于制备以包装容器如杯、盘、瓶和管状容量的盖子的形式的包装体。
本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物优选以多层结构的形式使用,该多层结构包括至少一层含树脂组合物的层(下文称作“氧吸收层”)和不同于上述树脂组合物的树脂层。在这方面,此处使用的术语“含(氧吸收性)树脂组合物的层”是指仅包含上述氧吸收性树脂组合物的层和包含引入不同与氧吸收性树脂组合物并且为基础材料的另一树脂中的氧吸收性树脂组合物的层。
构成多层结构的除氧吸收层之外的树脂层可以从热塑性树脂或热固性树脂中适当地选择,同时考虑其应用方式和/或所需功能。其实例包括烯烃树脂、热塑性聚酯树脂和具有氧阻挡性能的树脂(下文称作“氧阻挡性树脂”)。
上述烯烃树可以是例如聚乙烯(PE)如低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、中密度聚乙烯(MDPE)、高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、线性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)、线性超低密度聚乙烯(LVLDPE)、聚丙烯(PP)、乙烯-丙烯共聚物、聚丁烯-1、乙烯-丁烯-1共聚物、丙烯-丁烯-1共聚物、乙烯-丙烯-丁烯-1共聚物、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物和离子交联的烯烃共聚物(离聚物)或其共混物。
另外,此处可用的热塑性聚酯树脂的实例包括聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)、聚对苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)、聚萘二甲酸乙二醇酯(PEN)、主要包含聚羟基乙酸的聚酯树脂或其共聚酯、或其共混物。
氧阻挡性树脂可以例如为乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物(EVOH)。例如,可以使用皂化的共聚物,其可以通过将具有乙烯含量为20至60mole%和优选25至50mole%的乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物皂化至皂化度不低于96mole%和优选不低于99mole%而制备。
皂化的乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物具有使其形成膜的分子量。皂化产物通常具有不低于0.01dl/g和优选0.05dl/g的粘度,通过在30℃下使用包含苯酚和水以85∶15(重量比)混合的溶剂的溶液来测定。
其它氧阻挡性树脂的实例为聚酰胺树脂如聚(己二酰间苯二胺)(MXD6)和聚酯树脂如聚羟基乙酸。
上述多层结构的构造可以适当地选择,同时考虑其应用和/或所需功能。下面的是这种多层结构的实例,其中氧吸收层用符号OAR表示:

在这方面,PE表示低密度聚乙烯(LDPE)、中密度聚乙烯(MDPE)、高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)、线性低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)或线性超低密度聚乙烯(LVLDPE)。在其中PE或PP用于形成中间层的情况下,这些材料PE和PP可以用于形成构成本发明多层结构的含回用料树脂组合物的层。回用料树脂组合物是含有在例如根据本发明的多层结构化的容器成型操作时产生的边角料树脂的组合物,从其成型性的观点出发,通常包括含这种边角料树脂和构成多层结构化的容器的纯树脂如烯烃树脂的混合树脂。另外,回用料树脂组合物同样可以包含除臭剂或吸收剂。
在这些结构中,具有至少一层氧阻挡层的那些是优选的,因为这种氧阻挡层的存在会使氧吸收层的寿命延长。
当制备上述层压体时,如果需要,可以将粘合剂树脂层放置在每对相邻的两层之间。这样的粘合剂树脂可以为例如在主链或侧链上以1至700毫克当量(milli-equivalent)(meq)/100g树脂,特别是10至500meq/100g树脂的量含有羧酸、羧酸酐和/或羧酸的共聚物。
粘合剂树脂的具体实例包括乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物、离子交联的烯烃共聚物、马来酸酐接枝聚乙烯、马来酸酐接枝聚丙烯、丙烯酸接枝聚烯烃、乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、共聚的聚酯和共聚的聚酰胺、或者它们至少两种的任何组合。
这些粘合剂树脂可用于通过例如共挤塑或夹芯层压技术的层压中。此外,在通过使用粘合剂将预先用耐水蒸汽树脂膜形成的具有气体阻挡性能的膜层压时,也可以使用热固性粘合剂树脂如异氰酸酯类粘合剂树脂和环氧类粘合剂树脂。
为了俘获(trap)树脂组合物吸收氧时产生的副产物,在使用本发明的氧吸收性树脂组合物的层压体中,优选在任一上述层,特别是位于氧吸收层内侧的层中使用用于氧化副产物的除臭剂或吸收剂(在本说明书中,还称为“氧化副产物清除剂”)。
氧化副产物清除剂可以是本身已知的氧化副产物清除剂,其具体实例包括天然存在的沸石、合成沸石、硅胶、活性炭、浸渍活性炭、活性粘土、活性氧化铝、粘土、硅藻土、高岭土、滑石、膨润土、海泡石、硅镁土、氧化镁、氧化铁、氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁、氢氧化铁、硅酸镁、硅酸铝、合成水滑石和载有胺(amine-carrying)的多孔二氧化硅。其中,载有胺的多孔二氧化硅在此处优选使用,这是因为其与氧化副产物醛的高反应性,其二氧化硅/氧化铝的比例高的所谓高二氧化硅沸石(具有高二氧化硅含量的沸石)是优选的,因为其显示出对于多种氧化副产物的优良的吸收性并且具有优良的透明性。这样的高二氧化硅沸石优选具有二氧化硅/氧化铝的比例(摩尔比)不小于80,更优选不小于90并进一步优选100至700。具有这样的高二氧化硅含量的沸石特别有效地用于包装含水内容物的包装体中,因为这种沸石具有提高的俘获氧化副产物的能力,该氧化副产物是在具有低二氧化硅/氧化铝比例的沸石的吸收性会劣化的高湿条件下通过氧化形成的。高二氧化硅沸石的交换阳离子的实例是碱金属离子如钠、锂和钾离子;和碱土金属离子如钙和镁离子,其应该单独使用或以它们至少两种的任何组合使用。在这种情况下,优选包括至少钠离子作为交换阳离子,特别地,优选基本上所有的交换离子是钠离子。此处特别优选使用的这种高二氧化硅沸石是例如ZSM-5型高二氧化硅沸石。此外,同样重要的是高二氧化硅沸石具有通过其细颗粒附聚形成的石榴状结构,因而由于这样的石榴状结构,高二氧化硅沸石具有增大的可用于吸收的表面积且对于吸收具有尺寸显著大于基于简单沸石(simple zeolite)的孔评估的尺寸的有机化合物也是有效的。用于本发明的沸石优选具有0.5至10μm的平均粒径。
在本发明中,优选的多层结构的具体实例包括从最外层开始按次序包含下列10层的那些:最外层/粘合剂层/具有气体阻挡性能的树脂层/氧吸收层/含氧化副产物清除剂的层/粘合剂层/具有气体阻挡性能的树脂层/粘合剂层/最内层。此外,其中含氧化副产物清除剂的层包含回用料树脂组合物的多层结构是优选的。
上述多层结构可以根据本身已知的方法来生产。例如该结构可以根据常用的挤出成型,同时使用相应于要使用的树脂种类的许多挤出机和多个用于多层的模头来制备。
作为选择,多层结构同样可以根据共注射成型技术或连续注射成型技术来生产,同时使用相应于要使用的树脂种类的许多注射成型机,由此形成多层注射成型体。
此外,根据本发明的具有多层结构的膜或片材可以根据挤出涂布技术或者夹层层压技术来制备。作为选择,多层膜或片材同样可以根据干燥-层压(dry-lamination)初步制备的膜来生产。
包装材料如膜可以以具有多种形状的包装袋的形式使用,这样的袋可以根据本身已知的袋制造方法来生产,这样的袋的实例包括,但不限于,三边密封(three side-sealed)或四边密封的小袋、折叠小袋(gusseted pouches)、直立袋和枕头型包装袋。
由根据本发明的多层结构制备的包装容器可用作能够防止其内容物由于氧化而失去其风味和味道的容器。
可以充填在容器中的物质的实例是非常易于在氧存在下变质的那些,例如,饮料如啤酒、葡萄洒、果汁、碳酸软饮料、乌龙茶和绿茶;食品如水果、坚果、蔬菜、肉制品、婴儿食品、咖啡、果酱、蛋黄酱、调味番茄酱、食用油、调味品、调味料、在酱油中蒸煮的食品(foods boiled down in soy),和乳制品;以及其它物质如药品、化妆品、汽油。
可以将上述包装容器进一步包装在包装体(wrapping body)中,由此完成包装。现在将参考下列实施例和比较例更详细地描述本发明,但本发明丝毫不限于这些具体的实施例。
实施例
[氧吸收性树脂组合物的制备]
将引发物树脂(苯乙烯类树脂)和具有钴含量9.5质量%的硬脂酸钴(从Dainippon Ink & Chemicals,Inc.获得)以钴的量为150ppm的量与基础树脂(聚乙烯)混合,将所得混合物在搅拌干燥机(从DALTON Co.,Ltd.获得)中初步捏合,然后放入在其出口部装配有线模头的双螺杆挤出机(TEM-35B,从ToshibaMachine Co.,Ltd.获得)的料斗中。于是,为了形成目标氧吸收性树脂组合物的颗粒(pellet),在挤出机中,在刀片转数为100rpm,成型温度为200℃和排出速度为10kg/h,同时通过排气口抽真空至高真空下,将所得混合物以线料形挤出。
[氧吸收性片材的制备]
在成型温度200℃下,使用Labo Plasto磨(从Toyo Seiki Co.,Ltd.获得),将由此制备的氧吸收性树脂组合物成形为具有厚度约200μm的薄片状。在这方面,为了防止成型操作期间氧吸收性树脂组合物的任何氧化,目标片材以2种/3层的夹层结构的形式使用氧阻挡性树脂或乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物(F101B,从KurarayCorporation获得)(即,乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物/氧吸收性树脂组合物/乙烯-乙烯醇共聚物)来制备。
[诱导期的评价]
将由此获得的2种/3层夹层片材的氧阻挡性树脂层剥离以仅获得氧吸收性片材,接着从氧吸收性片材中冲压出具有尺寸为2×3cm的矩形片。然后将这些片(0.2g)放入不渗透氧的具有内体积85cc的容器中(High Retoflex:HR78-84,从Toyo SeikanKaisha Ltd获得)(由层压体:聚丙烯/钢箔/聚丙烯制备的杯形容器),接着用由聚丙烯(内层)/铝箔/聚酯(外层)组成的盖材热密封该容器。将已密封的容器在30℃的温度下储存,在容器中的氧浓度通过气相色谱技术来测定。将诱导期定义为直到每1g树脂吸收1cc氧所流逝的时间(天)。
[氧吸收速率的评价]
将含有样品片的已密封容器同样储存在30℃的温度下,容器内的氧浓度通过气相色谱技术来测定。这里将氧吸收速率定义为直到每1g树脂吸收10cc氧所流逝的时间(天)。
[挥发性氧化副产物的量的评价]
将以上制备的0.05g氧吸收性树脂组合物加至具有内容积为20ml的小瓶中,将具有粘附至其内侧的铝带的盖材放在小瓶的开口,将铝盖进一步放在盖材上以气密封小瓶,然后将小瓶储存在30℃的温度下。随后,当树脂以每1克树脂10cc的量吸收了氧时,分解产物的量使用装配有顶空取样器(7694:从AgilentTechnology获得)的气相色谱(6890:从Agilent Technology获得)来测定。在这方面,将甲苯用作标准物质,分解产物的量基于甲苯的色谱面积测定。
[实施例1]
将使用单点催化剂(EVOLUE SP0510B,从Mitsui ChemicalCo.,Ltd.获得并具有数均分子量3.3×104)(LLDPE1)制备的76.0质量%的线性低密度聚乙烯和使用Ziegler-Natta催化剂(20-T205,从Mitsui Chemical Co.,Ltd.获得并具有和数均分子量1.5×104)(LLDPE2)制备的19.0质量%的线性低密度聚乙烯用作基础树脂。
另一方面,将2.5质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(TUFTEC P2000,从Asahi Kasei Chemicals Co.,Ltd.获得)(引发物树脂A)和2.5质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(DYNALON 1320P:从JSR Co.,Ltd.获得)(引发物树脂B)以总的苯乙烯含量等于2质量%的方式用作引发物树脂。
使用这些基础树脂和引发物树脂以形成上述氧吸收性树脂组合物的颗粒,接着将颗粒成形为片材,随后评价诱导期、氧吸收速率和挥发性氧化副产物的量。
结果,发现所得片材具有良好的诱导期和氧吸收速率,并且具有少量的通过氧化分解的产物。
[实施例2]
将66.5质量%的LLDPE1和28.5质量%的LLDPE2用作基础树脂。
另一方面,将2.5质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(TUFTEC P2000,从Asahi Kasei Chemicals Co.,Ltd.获得)(引发物树脂A)和2.5质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(DYNALON 8601P:从JSR Co.,Ltd.获得)(引发物树脂B)用作引发物树脂。如同实施例1,将片材成形,接着评价诱导期、氧吸收速率和挥发性氧化副产物的量。
结果,发现所得片材具有良好的诱导期和氧吸收速率,并且具有少量的通过氧化分解的产物。
[实施例3]
除了将0.2质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(TUFTEC H1051,从Asahi Kasei Chemicals Co.,Ltd.获得)用作引发物树脂B之外,以与在实施例2中相同的方式,将片材成形,接着评价诱导期、氧吸收速率和挥发性氧化副产物的量。
结果,发现所得片材具有良好的诱导期和氧吸收速率,并且具有少量的通过氧化分解的产品。
[实施例4]
除了将57.0质量%的LLDPE1和38.0质量%的高压法的低密度聚乙烯(MIRASON 50P,从Mitsui Chemical Co.,Ltd.获得并具有数均分子量3.6×104)(LDPE)用作基础树脂之外,以与实施例1中相同的方式,将片材成形,接着进行上述评价。
结果,发现所得片材具有良好的诱导期和氧吸收速率,并且具有以略高于实施例1中观察到的量通过氧化分解的产物,但该量仍在可接受的水平。
[实施例5]
除了将77.6质量%的LLDPE1和19.4质量%的LLDPE2用作基础树脂并将3质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(TUFTEC P2000,从Asahi Kasei Chemicals Co.,Ltd.获得)(引发物树脂A)单独用作引发物树脂之外,以与实施例1中相同的方式,将片材成形,接着进行上述评价。
该片材显示由于引入使用Ziegler-Natta催化剂而制备并包括相对大量的分枝部分的LLDPE而引起的缩短诱导期的效果,因此,发现通过氧化产生的分解产物的量小。
[实施例6]
除了使用58.2质量%的LLDPE1和38.8质量%的LDPE作为基础树脂并单独使用3质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(TUFTEC P2000,从Asahi Kasei Chemicals Co.,Ltd.获得)(引发物树脂A)作为引发物树脂之外,重复实施例4中的相同步骤以形成片材。以与实施例1中相同的方式,将片材进行评价。
该片材显示由于引入使用Ziegler-Natta催化剂而制备并包括相对大量的分枝部分的LDPE而引起的缩短诱导期的效果,该片材以略高于在实施例1中观察到的量产生通过氧化分解的产物,但该量仍在可接受的水平。
[实施例7]
除了仅将95质量%的LLDPE1用作基础树脂之外,以与实施例1中相同的方式,将片材成形,接着进行上述评价。
该片材具有优良的分散性,显示出促进基础树脂氧化的效果,并具有少量的通过氧化分解的产物。
[实施例8]
除了将76.8质量%的LLDPE1和19.2质量%的LLDPE2用作基础树脂并将2.5质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(TUFTEC P2000,从Asahi Kasei Chemicals Co.,Ltd.获得)(引发物树脂A)和1.5质量%的氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物(DYNALON 4600P:从JSR Co.,Ltd.获得)(引发物树脂B)用作引发物树脂之外,以与实施例1中相同的方式,将片材成形,接着进行评价。
该片材具有优良的分散性,显示出促进基础树脂氧化的效果,并具有少量的通过氧化分解的产物。
[比较例1]
以与实施例5中相同的方式,除了仅将97质量%的LLDPE1用作基础树脂,将片材成形,接着进行评价。
结果,同样发现该片材产生相当少量的通过氧化分解的产物,但发现其氧吸收性质相对低,因为引发物相对粗糙或粗略地分散于片材中。
[比较例2]
以与实施例6中相同的方式,除了仅将97质量%的LDPE用作基础树脂,将片材成形,接着进行评价。。
该片材具有优良的氧吸收性质,因为它包含具有复杂分枝结构的LDPE作为基础树脂,尽管仅将LDPE用作基础树脂。然而,该片材产生大量的通过其氧化形成的分解产物。
在实施例和比较例中获得的结果列于下表1中。其中列出的数据清楚地表明:与其中使用一种基础树脂和/或一种引发物树脂的片材的那些相比,使用基础树脂的共混物和/或使用苯乙烯类引发物树脂的共混物使得诱导期、氧吸收速率和通过片材的氧化产生的挥发性分解产物的量的评价得到改进。此外,认识到:氧吸收速率的评价显示:这里试验的所有氧吸收性树脂组合物在整个试验期间能够连续吸收氧而不终止氧化。根据本发明,已证明:在利用通过由引发物树脂诱导氧化的基础树脂氧吸收反应的体系中,包含基础树脂共混物和引发物树脂共混物的氧吸收性树脂组合物显示出显著提高的引发物效果。

Claims (14)
1.一种氧吸收性树脂组合物,其包含苯乙烯类树脂、在其分子结构中具有亚乙基结构的热塑性树脂和过渡金属催化剂,其中,当苯乙烯类树脂用作引发物时,热塑性树脂的氧化进行,结果该组合物吸收氧,其中苯乙烯类树脂包含苯乙烯含量彼此不同的两种苯乙烯类树脂(A)和(B)并且树脂(A)的苯乙烯含量大于树脂(B)的苯乙烯含量。
2.根据权利要求1所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中,该苯乙烯类树脂(A)和(B)的苯乙烯含量之间的差不小于20%。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中,该苯乙烯类树脂(A)的苯乙烯含量不小于60质量%。
4.根据权利要求1至3任一项所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中,该苯乙烯类树脂(B)的苯乙烯含量不大于50%。
5.根据权利要求1至4任一项所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中,该苯乙烯类树脂(A)是氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物。
6.根据权利要求1至5任一项所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中,该苯乙烯类树脂(B)选自由氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物、氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯无规共聚物或氢化苯乙烯-丁二烯-聚乙烯三嵌段共聚物组成的组中。
7.根据权利要求1至6任一项所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中,它包含至少两种作为热塑性树脂的聚乙烯,并且这些聚乙烯中的至少一种是通过共聚乙烯与不小于4质量%的具有3至6个碳原子的1-烯烃而获得的线性低密度聚乙烯。
8.一种氧吸收性树脂组合物,其包含聚乙烯、除聚乙烯之外的并能够作为用于氧化聚乙烯的引发物的树脂和过渡金属催化剂,其中,所述组合物包含至少两种作为所述聚乙烯的聚乙烯并且这些聚乙烯的至少一种是通过共聚乙烯与不小于4质量%的具有3至6个碳原子的1-烯烃而制备的线性低密度聚乙烯。
9.根据权利要求7或8所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中,它包含高压法的低密度聚乙烯作为所述聚乙烯。
10.根据权利要求7至9任一项所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物,其中,它包含作为所述聚乙烯的至少两种具有不同分子量并通过共聚乙烯与不小于4质量%的具有3至6个碳原子的1-烯烃而制备的线性低密度聚乙烯。
11.一种包含氧吸收层的多层结构,该氧吸收层包含权利要求1至10任一项所述的氧吸收性树脂组合物。
12.根据权利要求11所述的多层结构,其中,该结构包含从最外层按次序的下列10层:最外层/粘合剂层/具有气体阻挡性能的树脂层/氧吸收层/含氧化副产物清除剂的层/粘合剂层/具有气体阻挡性能的树脂层/粘合剂层/最内层。
13.根据权利要求12所述的多层结构,其中,该氧化副产物清除剂是其二氧化硅/氧化铝的比例不小于80的ZSM-5型沸石。
14.根据权利要求12或13所述的多层结构,其中,含氧化副产物清除剂的层是含有回用料树脂组合物的层。
