Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferbaren Polyazofarbstoffes. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines kupferbaren Polyazofarbstoffes. Das Verfahren ist da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol tetra- zotiert.es 4,4'-Di-(3"-amino-4"-oxy-benzoyl- amino)-3,3'-dimethoxy-diphenyl mit 2 Mol 1-Oxy-naphthalin-4-sulfonsäure in alkalischem Medium vereinigt.
Der erhaltene neue Disazofarbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser mit violetter, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit roter Farbe löst und welcher Baumwolle oder Zellwolle in bordeauxroten Tönen anfärbt, die durch Nachkupferung in ein reineres Bor deaux von sehr guter Nass- und Lichtechtheit übergehen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 51,4 Teile 4,4'-Di-(3"-amino-4"-oxy-benzoyl- amino)-3,3'-dimethoxy-diphenyl werden in 600 Teilen Wasser mit 8 Teilen Natronlauge kalt gelöst, mit 13,8 Teilen Natriumnitrit vermischt und in der Kälte unter Rühren auf 40 Teile konz. Salzsäure und 80 Teile Wasser aufge- tropft. Nachdem die überschüssige Mineral säure mit Soda abgestumpft wurde,
vereinigt man die erhaltene grünstichig gelbe Suspen sion der Tetrazoverbindung mit einer kalten alkalischen Lösung von 44,8 Teilen 1-Oxy- naphthalin-4-sulfonsäureund 400 Teilen Was ser in Gegenwart von 30 Teilen Soda und 150 Teilen Pyridin. Nach mehrstündigem Rühren bei Raumtemperatur ist die Kupplung been det. Der erhaltene Disazofarbstoff der Formel
