  Verfahren     zur    Darstellung eines     Azofarbstoffes.       Das vorliegende Verfahren betrifft die  Darstellung eines     metallkomplexbildenden          Azofarbstoffes    und ist dadurch gekennzeich  net, dass man die     Diazoverbindung    von     2-Di-          p-Toluolsulfamino-l-naphtylamin-6-sulfosäure     mit     P-Naphtol    kuppelt und aus dem so er  haltenen     Farbstoff    eine     Toluolsulfogruppe     durch Behandeln mit verseifenden Mitteln  abspaltet.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  54,6 g     2-Di-p-toluolsuliamido-l-naphtyl-          amin-6-sulfosäure

    werden als     Natriumsalz    in 300 cm' Wasser  gelöst, mit 6,9 g Nitrit versetzt und durch  Eingiessen in verdünnte Säure auf übliche  Weise     diazotiert.    Die so erhaltene     Diazo-          suspension    wird     sodaalkalisch    mit 14,4 g         ss-Naphtol    gekuppelt. Der ausgefallene Farb  stoff wird abgesaugt, durch kurzes Erwärmen  in     20%    Natronlauge verseift und wie üblich  isoliert.  



  Er stellt ein dunkles Pulver dar, welches  Wolle aus saurem Bad in roten Tönen färbt,  die beim     Nachchromieren    in Dunkelblau um  schlagen.

PATENTANSPRUCIH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines metall- komplexbildenden Azofarbstoffes, dadurch ge kennzeichnet, dass man die Diazoverbindung von 2-Di-p-toluolsulfamino-l-naphtylamin-6- sulfosäure mit ss-Naphtol kuppelt und aus dem so erhaltenen Farbstoff eine Toluol- sulfogruppe durch Behandeln mit verseifen- den Mitteln abspaltet.
