Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines ehr omhaltigen Azofar bstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpa tentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines chromhaltigen Azofarbstoffes, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man den Azofarbstoff aus diazotierter 3-Chlor-2-amino- benzol-l-karbonsäure und 1-(4'-Chlor-2'-sulfo- phenyl) - 3 - methyl - 5 - pyrazolon mit einem chromabgebenden Mittel behandelt.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 471 Gewichtsteile des Azofarbstoffes aus diazotierter 3-Chlor-2-aminobenzol-l-karbon- säure und 1-(4'-Chlor-2'-sulfophenyl)-3-me- thyl-5-pyrazolon werden mit etwa 2000 Ge wichtsteilen Wasser verrührt, dazu gibt man eine wässrige Lösung von Chromformiat, entsprechend 84 Gewichtsteilen Chromoxyd, erhöht die Temperatur unter Rühren in ge schlossenem Gefäss auf 1200 C und hält etwa 4 Stunden bei<B>120-1300</B> C. Der Farbstoff wird mit Salz vollständig abgeschieden, ab gesaugt und getrocknet.
Die Chromierung kann auch mit andern chromabgebenden Mitteln, beispielsweise Chromfluorid oder Chromchlorid, durchgeführt werden.
Der so erhaltene chromhaltige Azofarb- stoff stellt ein gelbes Pulver dar, das Wolle aus saurem Bade in gelben Tönen von guten Echtheitseigenschaften färbt.
