Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 173064. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes für Wolle oder Seide, welcher der Lactamisation auf der Faser zur Er reichung kräftig roter Töne fähig ist.
Das Verfahren gemäss der Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass man 2-Nitro- 4-aminophenyl-l-thioglycolsäure dianotiert, die Diazoverbindung mit acetoessigsaurem p-Ani- sidid kuppelt und den resultierenden Nitro- azofarbstoff zu dem entsprechenden Amino- azofarbstoff reduziert.
<I>Beispiel</I> 11,5 Teile 2-Nitro-4-aminophenylthiogly- colsäure werden in 133 Teilen 2 o/oiger eis kalter Natriumcarbonatlösung aufgelöst. Hierauf werden 3,45 Teile Natriumnitrit und sodann 15,2 Teile 36 o%iger Ohlorwasseratoff- säure zugesetzt.
Nach einer halben Stunde ist die Dianotierung vollständig und lässt man die kalte Diazolösung in eine Lösung ablaufen, welche 9,7 Teile acetoessigsaurem p-Anisidid in 12,5 Teilen wässerigem Ätz natron 70 o Tw. und 1000 Teile Wasser ent hält. Nach einstündigem Umrühren ist die Kupplung vollständig und die Nitroazover- bindung wird durch Zusatz von 240 Teilen Salz gefällt. Die Nitroazoverbindung wird abfiltriert und mit 400 Teilen Wasser bei 50 C umgerührt.
Alsdann werden 18 Teile kristallisiertes Natriumsulfid zugesetzt und das Gemisch bei 50 o C 2-4 Stunden um gerührt. Wenn die Reduktion vollständig ist, werden 60 Teile Salz zugesetzt und wird der gefällte gelbe Farbstoff abgefiltert. Er kann als Teig aufbewahrt oder getrocknet werden.
Er färbt Wolle oder Seide in gelben Tönen, welche nach Behandlung mit ver dünnter Säure (Lactamisation des Farbstoffes) sehr waschbeständig sind.

The process according to the invention is characterized in that 2-nitro-4-aminophenyl-1-thioglycolic acid is dianotated, the diazo compound is coupled with acetoacetic acid p-anisidide and the resulting nitro azo dye is reduced to the corresponding amino azo dye.
<I> Example </I> 11.5 parts of 2-nitro-4-aminophenylthioglycolic acid are dissolved in 133 parts of 2% ice-cold sodium carbonate solution. 3.45 parts of sodium nitrite and then 15.2 parts of 36% strength hydrochloric acid are then added.
After half an hour the dianotization is complete and the cold diazo solution is allowed to run off into a solution which contains 9.7 parts of acetoacetic acid p-anisidide in 12.5 parts of aqueous caustic soda 70 o part and 1000 parts of water. After stirring for one hour, the coupling is complete and the nitroazo compound is precipitated by adding 240 parts of salt. The nitroazo compound is filtered off and stirred with 400 parts of water at 50.degree.
Then 18 parts of crystallized sodium sulfide are added and the mixture is stirred at 50 ° C. for 2-4 hours. When the reduction is complete, 60 parts of salt are added and the precipitated yellow dye is filtered off. It can be stored as a dough or dried.
It dyes wool or silk in yellow tones, which are very washable after treatment with dilute acid (lactamization of the dye).
