Description
Zylinderdeckel mit Kühlraum, insbesondere für doppeltwirkende Brennkraftmasehinen. Die Erfindung betrifft einen Zylinder deckel mit Kühlraum, insbesondere für dop peltwirkende Brennkraftmaschinen, bei dem ein die Öffnung für eine durchgehende Kol benstange und Stutzen für Ventile enthal tender Deckelkörper mittelst einem die Dek- kelschraubenlöcher enthaltenden ringförmigen Anpresskörper an den Zylinder angepresst wird.
Bei den bisherigen Zylinderdeckeln dieser Art ist eine einwandfreie Kühlung der Ventilstutzen aus dem Grunde nicht möglich, weil die neben der zentralen Kolbenstangen- öffnung angeordneten Ventilstutzen und die mantelförmige Seitenwand des Deckelkörpers derart nahe aneinander gerückt sind, dass sie auf der ganzen Höhe des Deckels bezw. Kühlraumes ineinander übergehen, so dass der Kühlraum die Ventilstutzen nicht ganz umschliesst, was insbesondere auf der dem Verbrennungsraum zugekehrten Seite der Stutzen von Nachteil ist.
Die vorliegende Erfindung, mit der die Beseitigung des Nach teils bezweckt wird, besteht darin, dass der dem Zylinder zugekehrte Teil des Deckel- körpers unterhalb des ringförmigen Anpress- körpers derart erweitert ist, dass er nicht nur bis an die Deckelbefestigungsschrauben her anreicht, sondern auch in der Umgebung der Ventilstutzen. in die Zwischenräume der Deckelbefestigungsschrauben hineinragt, zum Zwecke, den Kühlraum auf der dem Ver brennungsraum zugekehrten Seite unter Ein haltung eines kleinen Durchmessers für den Deckelbefestigungsschraubenkreis vollständig um die Ventilstutzen herumführen zu können.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs gegenstands ist auf der Zeichnung darge stellt.
Fig. 1 ist ein Schnitt nach der Linie I-I der Fig. 2, und Fig. 2 ein Schnitt nach der Linie II-II der Fig. 1.
a ist der die Öffnung <I>b</I> für die Kolben stange, die Stutzen c für die Ventile und den Kühlraum d enthaltende Deckelkörper und e. der die Löcher für die Deckelbefesti- gungsschrauben f enthaltende ringförmige Anpresskörper des kurbelseitigen Zylinder- deckels einer doppeltwirkenden Brennkraft- maschine.
Um eine einwandfreie Kühlung der Ven tilstutzen zu ermöglichen, ist der dem Zy linder zugekehrte Teil des Deckelkörpers ge genüber dem vom ringförmigen Anpresskörper umschlossenen, vom Zylinder abgekehrten Teil derart erweitert, dass er nicht nur bis an die Deckelbefestigungsschrauben heran reicht, sondern in der Umgebung der Ventil stutzen auch so in die Zwischenräume der Deckelbefestigungssohrauben hineinragt, dass die Ventilstutzen auf der Seite des Verbren nungsraumes ganz vom Kühlraum umschlossen werden.
g ist die Kühlwasserzuleitung, deren Ende so abgebogen ist, dass sie dem Inhalt des Kühlraumes zur Erhöhung der Kühlwirkung eine kreisende Bewegung in Richtung der eingezeichneten Pfeile erteilt.

The invention relates to a cylinder cover with a cooling chamber, in particular for double-acting internal combustion engines, in which a cover body containing the opening for a through piston rod and nozzle for valves is pressed against the cylinder by means of an annular pressure body containing the cover screw holes.
With the previous cylinder lids of this type, proper cooling of the valve connector is not possible for the reason that the valve connector arranged next to the central piston rod opening and the jacket-shaped side wall of the cover body are moved so close to one another that they respectively over the entire height of the cover. The cooling space merge into one another, so that the cooling space does not completely enclose the valve stub, which is a disadvantage in particular on the side of the stub facing the combustion chamber.
The present invention, with the aim of eliminating the disadvantage, consists in the fact that the part of the cover body facing the cylinder is widened below the annular pressure body in such a way that it not only extends as far as the cover fastening screws, but also in the vicinity of the valve connector. protrudes into the spaces between the cover fastening screws, for the purpose of being able to completely lead the cooling chamber on the side facing the combustion chamber while maintaining a small diameter for the cover fastening screw circle around the valve connector.
