  Verfahren zur     Darstellung    eines     Ringketons.       Gegenstand dieser Erfindung ist ein Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines     Ringketons    der  nachstehenden Formel:

    welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man       Crotonsäure    mit Benzol und Aluminiumchlorid  erhitzt. Das Produkt soll zur Herstellung  von     Farbstoffen    Verwendung finden.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  Zu 134 Gewichtsteilen gepulvertem Alu  miniumchlorid und 390 Gewichtsteilen Benzol  werden unter Rühren bei gewöhnlicher Tem  peratur in kleinen Anteilen 45 Gewichtsteile       Crotonsäure    gegeben. Man steigert allmählich  die Temperatur bis zum Siedepunkt des Benzols  und hält sie einige Stunden.

   Die Aufarbeitung  kann so geschehen, dass man nach dem Ver  setzen mit Eis und Salzsäure das Reaktions  gemisch einer     Wasserdampfdestillation    unter-    wirft, wobei anfangs hauptsächlich nur' das  Benzol übergeht, später das flüssige     Ringketon     vom Siedepunkt 255  und     naehstehenderFormel:

    Das     Ringketon    ist identisch mit dem End  produkt des Verfahrens des Zusatzpatentes Nr.  127693.

Das so erhaltene Ringbeton ist flüssig und besitzt den Siedepunkt 255 . Es ist identisch mit dem nach dem Verfahren des Zusatzpatentes Nr. 127693 erhältlichen Ringketon. Das Pro- dukt soll zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen Verwendung finden.
