Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines aromatischen Ringketona. Gegenstand dieser Erfindung ist ein Ver fahren zur Darstellung eines aromatischen Ringketons, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man ss-Chlorbuttersäure, m-Dichlor- benzol und Aluminiumchlorid bei höherer Temperatur aufeinander einwirken lässt. Das Produkt soll zur Herstellung von Farbstoffen. Verwendung finden.
<I>Beispiel:</I> Eine Lösung von 61 Gewichtsteilen ss Chlorbuttersäure in 420 Gewichtsteilen m- 1)ichlorbenzol wird unter Rühren mit 134 Ge wichtsteilen gepulvertem Aluminiumchlorid langsam versetzt. Man steigert die Tempe ratur bis auf 100 und darüber und hält sie einige Stunden. Hierauf gibt man auf Eis und destilliert mit Wasserdampf. An fangs geht m-Dichlorbenzol über und darauf das Ringketon von folgender Formel:

Dieses ist kristallisiert und schmilzt bei 67 bis 70 .
