Abstract
La présente invention a trait à des dévidoirs de câble transformables (22, 92), aux ensembles et aux procédés associés. Les dévidoirs de câble transformables peuvent être prévus dans une première configuration de dévidoir permettant de bobiner un câble sur le dévidoir de câble transformable et de dérouler le câble bobiné à partir du dévidoir de câble transformable. Le câble bobiné sur le dévidoir de câble transformable peut être déroulé au cours des installations de câble. Le dévidoir de câble transformable peut également être configuré dans une seconde configuration de dévidoir afin d'entreposer tout excès de câble après le déroulement du câble. Selon un exemple non limitatif, le volume du dévidoir de câble peut être réduit dans la seconde configuration de dévidoir par rapport au volume dans la première configuration de dévidoir de sorte qu'un volume moins important est requis pour l'entreposage du dévidoir de câble transformable. La seconde configuration de dévidoir que présente le dévidoir de câble transformable permet de faciliter l'entreposage du dévidoir de câble transformable dans l'équipement à fibres optiques et/ou d'éviter l'entreposage de l'excès de câble retiré d'un dévidoir de câble.
