Abstract

L'invention concerne un boîtier métallique pour un connecteur électrique tel qu'un connecteur normalisé HE12. I1 comporte deux coquilles (1,2) enserrant une fiche connecteur (4) qui est destinée à être insérée sur une embase (52). Chaque coquille (1,2) comporte:
- une demi-charnière (29, 30);
- un orifice (16, 17) ayant un contour qui est ouvert lorsque les deux coquilles sont écartées, pour permettre d'insérer des câbles (34 à 37), et qui est fermé lorsque les deux coquilles sont rapprochées;
- des saillies (6, 7), en forme de fourches, et constituant deux contacts autodénudants pour relier électriquement la coquille (1; 2) à la tresse de blindage (46, 38) de chaque câble et pour empêcher l'arrachement de ce câble;
- des languettes (10 à 13) s'insèrant dans des contacts autodénudants (41) lorsque les deux coquilles sont rapprochées, pour constituer des écrans électriques évitant des pertubations électromagnétiques entre des contacts voisins;
- une vis imperdable (25) constituant à la fois un axe de rotation pour la charnière (3) et un moyen de fixation du boîtier sur un écrou (50) solidaire du châssis (51).
Application à la réalisation de connecteurs protégés contre des pertubations électromagnétiques.
