The basic system (10) can be extended to include methods of nullifying the array of multi-element antennas (26, 18) also for interference cancellation and improved signal separation using spatial separation. Such methods allow for direct and retrodirectional transmission systems that adapt or can be adapted to the radio environment. Such systems are compatible with the higher order modulation and on-demand bandwidth formats and use advanced non-dispersion adaptation algorithms (maximum SINR).
