Abstract
trata-se de um processo para a preparação de uma composição catalisadora para catalisar reações de hidrogenação e de hidrogenólise em que (a) um suporte de carbono é colocado em contato com uma solução precursora catalítica que compreende pelo menos um elemento dos grupos 7, 8, 9, 10 e 11 da tabela periódica para formar um carbono impregnado com metal; (b) o carbono impregnado com metal é seco a uma temperatura de, no máximo, 400°c e colocado em um vaso de reator; (c) o vaso de reator é vedado; e (d) o carbono impregnado com metal é tratado no vaso de reator 10 em uma atmosfera que compreende hidrogênio a uma temperatura de 25°c a 350°c.
