Abstract

refino catalítico de terpenos de origem de polpa. a presente invenção está correlacionada a um composto de p-cimeno de origem biológica, que pode ser ainda convertido em tereftalato. além disso, é descrito um método para conversão de sulfato de bruto de terebentina (aguarrás), recuperado de polpação química de madeira, em p-cimeno e, eventualmente, em ácido tereftálico de origem biológica e derivados do mesmo, respectivamente. no dito método, as etapas de conversão e dessulfurização são realizadas em uma única etapa reacional. a presente divulgação é tambem correlacionada ao uso de catalisadores de zeólito no referido método.
