Abstract

"CONECTOR DE FIBRA óTICA E UM RETENTOR DE PINO ASSOCIADO". Caracterizado pelo fato de compreender um conector de fibra ótica incluindo uma virola, a qual é compatível com uma mini virola-MT e com uma virola-E e, se devidamente dimensionada, sendo provida uma virola-MT. Adicionalmente, um mecanismo de retenção de pino-guia é provido, o qual permite que pinos-guia sejam inseridos no campo em seguida à montagem do conector e ao polimento da face frontal da virola. O conector inclui uma virola possuindo uma haste e um primeiro trecho do ressalto próximo de uma extremidade da haste. O primeiro trecho do ressalto possui um perfil em secção transversal o qual é maior que a haste. A virola pode igualmente incluir um segundo trecho do ressalto próximo do primeiro trecho do ressalto o qual é menor na secção transversal lateral que o primeiro trecho do ressalto. O conector pode igualmente incluir um retentor de pino para o engatamento dos pinos-guia que se estendem ao longo do segundo trecho do ressalto.
