Abstract

The invention relates to a method and plant for the recycling of waste lubricants having low content of heavy oil, aliphatic acids or chlorine products. The waste lubricants are subjected to recycling at consecutive stages, in the following order: addition of water solution of strong bases with content from 0.5 to 3% pure bases to the total quantity of the waste oils, dehydration and extraction of the light hydrocarbons, extraction and stripping of light oil (stripping process), extraction of the mixtures. After the stage of dehydration and light hydrocarbons extraction water solution of a strong base is added supplementarily containing 0.1-1% pure bases to the total quantity of the waste oils. The waste lubricants treated in this manner are cleaned from the impurities by distillation. 8 claims, 3 figures
