Abstract

In the case of a gas burner, having a burner plate (1) penetrated by outlet openings (2) for a gas-air mixture and able to be charged with such a mixture via a mixture duct (3), this burner plate (1) is held detachably by means of the centrally arranged mixture duct (3) in an annular mounting (7), enclosing a mixture chamber (6). The mixture duct (3), which opens out into the mixture chamber (6) with clearances (5), is radially adjoined by an air duct (15), into which there opens coaxially and oppositely to the airstream a gas supply line (17) with a gas nozzle (18), for the purpose of mixing the air with gas. The air duct (15) may include a detachable butt joint (20) to allow a movable part containing the mixture duct (3) and the burner plate (1) to be separated as and when required from a fixed part containing the gas supply line (17) and the gas nozzle (18) and connected to a blower (16).
